“productive boards for weekly planning”

Pros

It has been really useful for boosting my productivity and helping me manage my time better when organizing tasks and commitments. I use the boards to write down everything I need to do, then split each task into sections like to do, done and in progress. It's very user friendly and it also helps me set weekly goals and create practical lists, even for things like supermarket shopping.

Cons

A built in calendar is missing because then I could handle everything in a single app. It also doesn't offer a notification system on smartphones for tasks marked as essential and that would make it much more complete.

Pros

Right from the start the tool feels clean, simple to navigate and very user friendly. On top of that, whenever a new user is added on their side, everything gets set up and uploaded extremely quickly.

Cons

It would be better if they could fresh or update the interface from time to time. Also the background options being limited to the premium plan members is understandable but it becomes inconvenient when we share boards with people outside our team who don't have the same type of account.

Pros

From day one this tool has been very simple to use and keeps our tasks organized in a clear way. It includes everything we need without cluttering the workspace with unnecessary features.

“I enjoyed it!”

Pros

Getting started with the software was incredibly simple and the collaboration features are what I enjoy most. Being able to assign tasks to different people makes teamwork much more manageable and creating separate teams has helped me keep everything well organized.

Cons

Adding tags to color-code multiple items can feel a bit outdated at times. I'd also like the option to use more power-ups although it's hard to complain too much since I'm using the free plan. Even so, I do feel like Asana offers more features on its free tier.

Pros

Thanks to its user friendly interface figuring it out is easy and there's no real need for a manual or video tutorial. It makes project progress very visible through activity checklists and it's also simple to view the estimated time for each task along with the resources assigned to them.

Cons

Keeping track of expenses in the software is not very convenient and it's also hard to get an overall percentage view for each project. It would be much better if the platform included statistical graphs to make activity and project progress easier to understand at a glance.

“Great tool”

Pros

The software has been a really nice tool for managing team activities quickly without losing clarity. The part I value most is how much detail you can add to each task. The required information is important, of course but the extra fields and options are what make it even more useful for me. I really like being able to add as many checklists as needed, whether that is to break a task into smaller steps or to review acceptance criteria and minimum requirements before getting started. Another feature I enjoy is the use of colors which in our case helped mark urgency levels or alerts and the labels are also very helpful for organizing and segmenting work by topic.

Cons

As much as I appreciate the software's customization, I still miss the ability to build a consolidated board that pulls together tasks from multiple teams or separate boards and keeps them synchronized. That would make it much more useful from a broader management perspective especially when different teams are connected. I would also like to see some kind of hierarchy for categories so related topics could be grouped under the same tag or structured the other way around when needed.

Pros

After being introduced to the software through a homeschooling website, I've been genuinely impressed by how it's presented, the access it gives to free presentations shared by other members and how simple it is to use, even through the app I just installed. It feels worth both the price and the effort and I can see it being useful across a lot of different parts of work and everyday life.

Cons

The only thing holding me back is the cost, mainly because I'm not sure how long I'll actually need to keep using a program like this. It's been really helpful right now and likely will be for the near future but there are still plenty of unknowns around whether the kids will go back to school and whether I'll return to full-time work. Even with that uncertainty, I'm still glad I was introduced to it.

It has a simple, collaborative setup that works really well for organizing, launching, reviewing and completing projects as well as daily tasks.

Cons

I didn't run into any real issues. Maybe exporting information could be improved but with the visibility the boards provide, it has been more than enough.

“easy to stay on top of work”

Pros

The Kanban board gives a clear visual of where every task stands and who's handling it which makes staying on top of work much simpler. Tags and labels do a lot to keep everything organized and the clean, friendly interface makes the app genuinely pleasant to use so it actually encourages you to keep using it and stay organized. Sharing boards with other users also makes collaboration easy and the Slack integration is a nice bonus.

Cons

I really don't have any complaints about the software. It does exactly what it sets out to do and it does that very well.

The software has been an awesome way to organize tasks, schedules and activities especially when working on group projects. It's been really useful for keeping track of my work responsibilities and I've even started using it to manage things in my personal life too which has helped boost both my productivity and overall well-being.

Cons

There honestly isn't much for me to complain about with this software. That said because the software offers so many features and possible uses, it can take a fair amount of time to get comfortable with everything it provides. At the beginning, the learning curve can feel a bit overwhelming so it's something worth planning extra time for.

“Simple task breakdown and collaboration”

Pros

Breaking larger projects into smaller, manageable pieces is the part I appreciate most. I can add checklists inside each card to track every individual step which keeps everything organized. The comment section is really useful too since multiple people can leave feedback and discuss things on the same card. That feature has been especially handy.

Cons

At the moment, I can't point to any real downsides. The interface feels a bit different compared with other project management platforms I've used but it still seems to cover all the essential features I need.

Pros

Dragging cards from one list to another is such a clean visual upgrade from using sticky notes which can be messy, high-maintenance and way too easy to ruin when someone bumps the board and sends tasks flying. The software gets rid of all that hassle and on top of that it makes assigning or reassigning work, tracking activity and keeping everything organized really easy. One of its biggest strengths is also how well it connects with so many other tools and platforms.

Cons

I've never really needed the paid plan because the free version already does more than enough for me so I can't really comment on the premium side. My biggest issue with the software is accountability and while that's not entirely something the platform can control for each team, it would still help to have reminders, nudges or some kind of follow-up feature for people who don't stay on top of the system for whatever reason, whether they're old-school, not online much, not into Agile, loyal to sticky notes or just not very proactive.

Pros

Getting started with the software is very simple and it connects well with a lot of services I use, including Google Drive, Google Calendar, Zapier and several powerful Power-Ups. I manage more than 100 boards and each system I work with has its own structure, whether it's WordPress plugins, Adobe programs or software in general. Inside every board, I keep important items related to that system, such as tasks, bookmarks, resources, documents and more. I also create separate task boards for each of my projects and I even keep one board for personal items.

Cons

Moving cards from one board to another is not practical at all. The software still relies on those old-fashioned select boxes everywhere and that gets very frustrating. It's surprising that a company like Atlassian still hasn't replaced that outdated and counterproductive dropdown system with something like Select2 from jQuery or a similar tool. I'm honestly mentioning it here in the hope they finally address it. For example, when I need to move a card from one board to another, I have to open a dropdown and manually scroll with the mouse through more than 100 items just to find the right board. That really shouldn't still be happening especially when better solutions already exist and I even implement this kind of improvement in my own systems.

Pros

Without a doubt, the software is a really powerful tool that adapts well whether you're working on your own or with a team. It's versatile enough to fit practically any type of workflow and that flexibility becomes even better when you make use of the Power-Ups.

Cons

The only downside is being limited to just one Power-Up on the free plan. Having at least two included would be much more useful.

“encourages team collaboration”

Pros

Switching to the software from a much clunkier tool a little over two years ago really showed my team and me how much we had been missing. We've used it for both internal work and client-facing projects and the usability has been outstanding. It works especially well for smaller projects that are simple to manage, even when they involve multiple teams and departments. The interface is excellent and the lists and progress columns are particularly well done. It's been useful enough that my family and I have even started using it to organize household chores.

Cons

The software works really well for smaller projects but once things get much bigger some problems start to show up. I've had trouble managing multiple lists and setting the right permissions for team members on certain functions. Those issues are still manageable with smaller teams but they become much harder in a collaborative setup where larger groups are involved especially when some of those teams rely on other tools like Slack or Skype.

Pros

Just by opening a new tab in the browser, this web app gives us a really practical way to keep basic company tasks organized. It's very user friendly and once you start using it, the whole system feels almost automatic for maintaining order.

Cons

It would be even better if navigation inside the same Kanban card worked on another level making it easier to filter information and share or distribute it across other channels.

Pros

Easy to navigate especially if you want a Kanban-style way to manage projects. The interface is simple, the example boards are genuinely helpful and the overall learning curve is very low. It works really well for basic tasks or for people who are new to more advanced project management software.

Cons

At the same time, it's pretty common to outgrow the software once you need something more configurable or complex. It also attempts to load a full board on a single screen which becomes a real issue for bigger projects or larger organizations. In those cases, performance can suffer quite a bit and it can even cause browsers to crash.

Pros

Running a team of up to 50 people feels incredibly well organized with the software. It helps set up tasks, keep track of progress and makes every assignment visible to the whole team which really improves transparency. It's also very useful for documentation and daily collaboration. The native G Suite integration is a big plus, the card-and-list interface is excellent, email notifications are helpful and it's simple to store and quickly locate files or tasks. The calendar with deadlines is another feature that adds a lot of value.

Cons

Honestly, there's very little to complain about with the software. It's a really strong product for team management and has been very helpful overall. The only limitation is that once the team grows beyond 200 people, it can become harder to keep everything organized and automate certain processes effectively.

You can use it to organize pretty much anything and getting started is incredibly easy with almost no learning curve at all.

Cons

I honestly don't have any complaints. It works well as it is, stays simple to use and doesn't add unnecessary complexity.

“Strong plugins”

Pros

Feels very natural to work with and the interface is accessible enough that most people can pick it up quickly. Once you add a few plugins and set some shared team conventions, it becomes much more capable and flexible. It also handles real-time syncing really well without dragging down performance.

Cons

There's no built-in way to share cards across multiple boards and reporting isn't included out of the box either although that may not matter if reporting isn't important to you. Another limitation is that team or company-wide usage conventions can't really be enforced systematically so everyone has to agree on them and follow them consistently which leaves room for misunderstanding and human error. Without solid conventions in place, boards can get cluttered and difficult to manage. Every now and then, the drag-and-drop behavior in the UI hasn't worked perfectly for me though it's still better than almost any other drag-and-drop interface I've used. Real-time syncing can also run into race conditions when multiple people edit the same card at once but that's fairly expected.
