fantastic boards for job tracking

Pros

Running our small business jobs through this platform has worked out really well. The free version is enough to get started and it lets you share boards with one other user which fits our setup. We create a separate card for each job and move it across columns like Ready, In-progress and Complete to keep track of status. The layout is clean and easy and the drag-and-drop setup makes updating progress quick. On the board itself, cards only show the basics so the screen stays uncluttered and easy to scan. Once you open a card, you can add more detail like notes, images, documents and other project info. It's also handy that you can message the person sharing the board with you right inside this platform and they get alerts on their device when something new comes in. Another big plus is how well it works across computer, tablet and mobile since I use all three regularly. The checklist feature is also really useful for project tasks because you can tick items off as they're completed.

Cons

There's not much to complain about. The only feature I really wish it had is a way to enter numerical values and total them up for all cards in a column, like hours worked or dollar amounts. That said, the tool does offer upgrade options for a fairly small monthly cost. You can also earn some free upgrades by sharing the tool with other people and getting them to sign up.

all my boards in one place

Pros

Having separate boards in this tool for every part of my life is easily my favorite part, work, family, church, friends, school, hobbies and self-development can all live in one spot. It helps me stay organized while also keeping track of everything I need to handle so I don't lose sight of responsibilities or forget the things I've committed to doing.

Cons

The part I'm least happy with is the support since it's limited to online help only. I'd much rather be able to speak with a live support person or use real-time chat instead of waiting an unknown amount of time for someone to get back to me.

tidy boards and satisfying workflow

Pros

Having a project arranged in card columns makes it a clean organized way to see everything and keep work moving. Dragging an in-progress card over to the done column is surprisingly satisfying every time. The ability to search across all of my projects, both work-related and personal and then copy or reuse items saves me a lot of time. It was also pretty quick to get started and begin using effectively.

Cons

It still feels less accessible than it should be. Even after using it for 4 years, there are moments when I'm still scanning the screen trying to figure out where something is. I've finally gotten used to needing to archive before deleting but that extra step still feels unnecessary.

quick to learn and well documented

Pros

Getting started with this solution takes very little effort because the learning curve is minimal. There's also a large user community and plenty of documentation covering how to use it, along with tips and best practices. In the end, the value you get from it really depends on how well you use it.

Cons

A limitation is that a single card can't handle multiple deadlines. It can also become awkward to manage if the team setting it up isn't familiar with best practices. On top of that, archived cards with unclear names can be hard to find later.

powerful boards for marketing teams

Pros

This software handles a huge range of things. It works for task management, team communication and plenty more once it's set up the right way. Whether you're using it for simple collaboration or building out more advanced workflows, it's a really solid option for marketing teams that need to track production and stay on top of deadlines.

Cons

At times, it can feel a bit overwhelming. The card-based layout can get messy pretty quickly and if you're not familiar with how the workspace was organized, finding exactly what you need isn't always easy. It definitely took me a few weeks to fully understand how to navigate it and use it effectively.

simple and versatile project tracking

Pros

One thing that really works well with the tool is how easy it is. I use it to handle projects across multiple teams and it also works nicely for my personal to-do lists. It's user friendly and makes it easier to keep everyone updated on project progress.

Cons

The notifications have changed a bit over time and that can be frustrating. At times, I get email alerts for tasks I was only briefly involved with.

task tracking that just works

Pros

Running a small law firm got a lot more manageable once I started using the platform. The layout is clean, it's very simple to use and I end up recommending it to friends all the time without even being asked. Before this, keeping up with all the different tasks, internal assignments for staff and cases or projects referred out to other attorneys was almost impossible. Having everything in one place has made a huge difference. The mobile app is also a big plus. If something comes to mind during a meeting, I can pull out my phone right away and add it to my ongoing to-do list.

Cons

A lot of the extra features feel unnecessary for the way I use it. Things like color labels, sub-descriptions and some of the other added options seem like they can take extra time to maintain and I usually skip them. To me, this software works best as a easy tool for keeping track of bigger-picture tasks and to-dos.

Great card tracking features

Pros

This platform has brought a lot of really useful features into my workflow and made day-to-day work much better. 1) Setting up cards in this platform is simple and gives clear visibility into what everyone on the team is working on. The different color options for separate workstreams are a nice touch and you can customize them however you want. 2) Adding due dates, assigning cards to specific team members and keeping notes directly inside each card is extremely helpful. I rely on this to keep both myself and the team on track and accountable for tasks. 3) The "Watch" feature is especially valuable because it lets me keep an eye on the cards that matter most without any hassle.

Cons

Something that is missing right now is a convenient way to export data directly into Microsoft Excel. Having that option would be very helpful especially for data visualization.

clear project tracking

Pros

Working across several projects with multiple people in our department can get hectic and this tool has helped keep everything organized. Each video has a checklist that clearly shows what's expected and both the team and managers can track the progress as work gets done. It's a practical way to assign tasks, keep everyone aligned and give people a place to go back to whenever they need to review the list.

Cons

At times though, it can feel a bit overwhelming to look at everything that still needs to be finished. When there are too many cards on the board, the main page starts to look cluttered and that can add to that overloaded feeling.

lovely tool

Pros

The software has been a really solid fit for the film and writing projects I work on with other UCLA students and I've also relied on it quite a bit for personal projects with different teams creating all kinds of content, from writing tasks to full production workflows. One of its biggest strengths is how many different ways you can use it while still keeping a pretty detailed level of organization. The card system makes it simple to map out larger projects, then build out a clear hierarchy of tasks underneath them to get everything done. You can assign subtasks to specific people and team members can update their progress and communicate through an interface that stays very easy. Another big plus is how flexible the software is across devices thanks to the wide range of apps it offers. Whether I'm on Windows, Mac android, iPhone or just using a web browser on basically any operating system, it's easy to keep up with tasks and progress in a clean way. The Android app also supports different widget options and there are third-party tools that expand on that even more, with some being free and others only costing a few dollars. On top of that, the software connects with a lot of other services like Slack, Microsoft Teams, Adobe XD, Skype, BlueJeans and more which gives teams plenty of options depending on how they work. Some of those integrations are included and some cost extra but there's a lot of flexibility overall.

Cons

My only real complaint with this platform is how inconsistent some mobile app behavior can be when your signal is weak. It seems to depend heavily on having cloud access instead of offering much in the way of local caching. I understand why they would design it that way since it helps avoid sync conflicts when multiple people are updating the same tasks at once. Even so, it can still be annoying when you're somewhere with spotty service and could be getting work done but the connection makes the app unreliable.

I rely on this software

Pros

One of the best things about this solution is that the basic version is free which already covers a lot of useful features. Connecting it with third-party apps like Slack makes the overall experience much better. It works well for organizing both work and personal tasks especially when kept on separate boards. The free plan also lets teams collaborate on boards and the option to make boards public is really helpful for community or open-source projects where people outside the core team want to follow progress. Another nice bonus is that this solution sometimes upgrades accounts to premium when you invite a lot of users which is a smart incentive and encourages more people to try a tool they'll probably end up enjoying. It's especially valuable for distributed teams since everyone can stay coordinated and work together without needing to be in the same place.

Cons

At times, project pages show unclear error messages when you try to open them while logged out which can be confusing. I'd also love to see more flexible automation for recurring task movement. For instance, if a card shifts between two lists every day at certain times, it would be better if this tool could simply send a notification that the due time has been reached and let me approve the reset, instead of making me log in and manually move or reset the card myself. It's a little tricky to explain perfectly without showing it visually but that kind of automation would make the workflow much more convenient.

excellent!

Pros

Running my small game development team with this software has been incredibly convenient because the platform is very easy to use. We use it as our Kanban system and every team member can access the board and work directly with the task cards. On top of that, the administrator can manage permissions which helps prevent random people from moving or viewing cards they should not touch. It is honestly one of the simplest Kanban board tools I have come across. Beyond team projects, I also rely on this software for personal to-do boards since it makes tracking in-progress items and multi-step tasks very simple.

Cons

There is not much I would call a real downside although a policy change that took effect on March 19, 2019 limits free teams to 10 boards. Even then, it is not a major problem because anyone who needs more than that can move up to a business account and pay the additional fee.

keep projects moving

Pros

The tool really speeds up projects that are managed with a Kanban approach and being a web app with a mobile version makes it simple to use wherever work happens. The drag-and-drop setup is accessible enough for just about any age group I've worked with and the Power-Ups give teams the flexibility to add more functionality when the standard setup isn't quite enough.

Cons

The calendar feature feels a little outdated especially when compared with how polished and useful the boards are. Since the boards are so simple and effective, anything that falls short of that standard stands out more. Because of that, I still rely on another tool for calendar views. If this solution improves that part, I'd be thrilled.

beautiful boards for teamwork

Pros

With just the two of us managing a full year of activities, campaigns and events, the platform has been a really helpful way to stay aligned. It keeps everything organized and moving forward without deadlines slipping through the cracks and the layout is visually clean and appealing. I also appreciate how well it connects with other tools we already use, like Box which makes it much simpler to keep files and information current.

Cons

The interface is user friendly but the board setup runs from left to right so there can be a lot of scrolling. A grid view would make browsing and managing items much more convenient. Since it's web-based, I also wish there were a desktop option for times when we're traveling and don't have a reliable internet connection.

useful power-ups

Pros

Across different teams and use cases, this platform has been very simple to work with. The power-ups are one of my favorite parts and I really appreciate being able to review all my tasks and boards from the cards section. It gives a solid overall view and the filter option on each board helps me find information fast.

Cons

A lot of the features are harder to discover than they should be. If I didn't keep up with the tool's blog, I would probably miss quite a few useful things. It's also pretty common for items to get lost in a board's archive section.

versatile boards

Pros

This tool is very simple to use, responds quickly and the free plan offers a surprisingly generous amount. It works well for a wide range of use cases and the mobile app is also really solid.

Cons

A downside is that many of the more advanced features depend on third-party Power-Ups and those often come with an extra monthly subscription.

friendly boards that keep projects moving

Pros

Right from the start, the software felt like a project management tool with a very user friendly interface. Installing and setting it up was simple and using it day to day is very accessible. What I value most is being able to track different tasks clearly and the board automation which is one of the most effective and appealing features for me. It includes solid project management tools for business use, while still letting you customize things in a more youthful and relaxed style. I would especially recommend it to small companies that are just beginning to automate their projects. The mobile app also performs really well and is very practical to use.

Cons

Honestly, there is not much I dislike about this platform because it feels very efficient and complete despite its more casual look. That said, I do see it as a better fit for small companies or teams of around 3 to 5 people working on each project. For bigger groups or organizations that prefer a more formal style, this platform may end up being less functional.

visual productivity that clicks

Pros

This solution has completely taken the place of my old pen-and-paper to-do lists. It's easily the most visual way I've used to keep track of day-to-day productivity. At a glance, I can tell which tasks are finished and how the rest are progressing. The connection between the desktop version and mobile app is also smooth which makes it really convenient when I'm away from my computer.

Cons

My only issue with this tool is that when a to-do list gets too full, the board can start to feel a bit overwhelming. It takes some time to adjust to the layout of cards under each section but once you get familiar with the format, it becomes much more manageable.

my review

Pros

When it comes to the positives, this tool is fantastic for collaboration. It allows us to share ideas easily with other team members and keeps everyone updated on what's going on. The interface is very user friendly so it doesn't take much time to learn or understand. On top of that, it really helps users manage projects in an organized and effective way which has been a big help in reaching our goals.

Cons

Honestly, my experience with this product has been excellent. I haven't run into any problems while using it and it has worked really well for me the whole time. Because of that, I've become a big fan of it and genuinely don't have anything negative to say about it.

brilliant boards for busy minds

Pros

The tool has been a total favorite of mine. I've even moved a couple of my friends' organizations over to it and they ended up loving it enough to recommend it to others too. It really feels like a one-of-a-kind solution and works perfectly when you've got a lot to juggle. One of the things I enjoy most is being able to set different backgrounds for boards and give each list funny titles so the customization side fits me really well :-) It's such a clever way to organize ideas and plans and it can be shaped to fit almost any kind of use case.

Cons

Back when I first started using this solution, there wasn't an app yet which was pretty frustrating. With a lot of lists and cards, trying to scroll through everything on a phone just wasn't very practical.
