This platform has been especially useful for keeping my projects organized and clearly separated and I really appreciate that the free version gives me enough boards to get my business started.

Cons

The only downside I've noticed is that on the mobile app, the push notifications sometimes don't line up with the actual changes.

Pros

Planning has always been something I enjoy so when I came across both the Kanban approach and this tool around the same time, it instantly felt like a perfect match. This tool is thoughtfully designed and pretty simple to jump into right away. The free version is genuinely solid too. It works so well that, even though I've considered upgrading for the extra features, I still haven't felt pushed to do it yet,though I can definitely see myself subscribing before long.

Cons

This is only a very minor complaint but coming from a designer's perspective, I do wish the interface had a bit more visual personality. I think that could make a real difference when it comes to bringing hesitant team members on board especially the ones who already view planning as more of a chore than something useful.

Pros

Getting boards, cards and other basics set up was pretty easy and it worked well for organizing simple tasks overall , with the emphasis really being on simple.

Cons

It just didn't feel very effective. You can pack quite a bit into a card, including links and attachments but the real benefit is still the visual layout. Because of that, unless your tasks are very simple or your workload is pretty light, it doesn't have enough depth to organize and connect more complex work very well.

Pros

After more than six years of using this platform, it still feels incredibly user friendly and I really like the direction the company is taking. The design is another big plus for me. It looks good, lets you personalize the interface quite a bit and small touches like color-blind friendly labels and the Taco the dog stickers feel genuinely thoughtful. I can build as many boards and columns as I need, then share them with different teams depending on the project. Right now, I'm managing three major projects in completely different industries, each with its own workflow and setting all of that up in this platform only took a few minutes. It's also very practical for day-to-day work since you can attach documents to tasks, link files, create checklists, tag teammates and use plenty of other helpful features. And all of that is available even in the free version which is impressive. The Premium plan seems to offer even more although I haven't personally used it.

Cons

Since I've worked with both Atlassian products, JIRA and the software, the feature I miss most in the software is sprint functionality. It may exist in the Premium version but I haven't tried that myself. Sprints make it much simpler to prepare reports for management because you can clearly show what was completed in a cycle and which tasks were carried over. They also make forward planning more structured so that's one area where I still feel JIRA has an advantage.

Pros

Getting started with this product was very easy and it didn't take much time to begin using it effectively. The GitHub plugins were especially useful because they let me monitor students' pull requests and repositories in one place which made it much easier to follow their progress on coding projects.

Cons

The GitHub integration is excellent but it would be even better if they added more practical plugins like that since it would make the product feel even more complete.

Pros

Having a clear bird's-eye view of everything in board view is one of my favorite parts. I can then open a card and get into the finer details like notes, descriptions, due dates, attachments, links, images, checklists and even connected cards or boards. It's also very accessible and easy to use which makes it quick to get a whole team set up and working in it without much hassle.

Cons

On its own, the software feels a bit limited compared to some other tools. To expand what it can do, you usually have to rely on third-party power-ups for added functionality.

Pros

Setting up a task only takes a few seconds,pick the right board, enter the to-do, add a teammate, due date and any extra notes if needed and it's ready to go. Shifting cards between team members and across board columns is just simple drag-and-drop. It may not be as feature-heavy as a dedicated time-tracking tool but this platform works really well as a task organizer. On top of that, the card automation features are excellent,almost like using formulas in Excel.

Cons

That said, the software doesn't offer much when it comes to time tracking. Also, quickly checking a card's history,like updates, member changes and due date edits,can get pretty cluttered. A filter option there would really help teams focus on the specific task details they need.

Pros

With this tool some of our users can put together their sprint plans without much hassle and keep track of progress across each sprint. For certain clients, the free version is already more than enough, while others choose to upgrade to Gold for the extra capabilities. The Gold features that usually matter most to users are the bigger attachment limits, saved searches they can come back to later and the more advanced automation options.

Cons

The platform can sometimes come across as a more stripped-down version of JIRA. That works well for some clients who prefer something simpler but it can also turn others away when they need a more full-featured tool. The good part is that if a client decides the platform is not the right fit, Atlassian can still offer JIRA or Confluence to better match those requirements.

Pros

Moving cards with the drag-and-drop setup is one of my favorite parts of this software. It makes organizing active tasks really easy so it's much easier to see what everyone is working on at a glance. I also appreciate how adaptable it is since it fits just about any kind of workflow. I even end up using it for personal projects too.

Cons

There are just two parts of the application that I'm not a big fan of. One is the notification system which doesn't seem very reliable because updates can be missed or buried too easily. The other is the search tool. If I don't enter the exact wording, it usually won't return anything and I really wish it handled partial matches much better.

Pros

Working together in one shared digital space has been incredibly valuable. Assigning tasks and projects is easy and the calendar feature really helped keep my team organized and on track every week.

Cons

One thing my team kept wishing for was the ability to nest one card inside another. It would also help if boards could exist as standalone links. Having cards that function only as links to another board would be a smart workflow shortcut and could give recurring projects their own dedicated boards.

One thing I really appreciate about this tool is that it's a free collaboration tool which makes it simple to work with people outside my organization who usually can't access our other Microsoft-based systems. They can create their own accounts and then be invited into as many boards as needed making it easy to share information and collaborate across different groups.

That said, the feature set feels a bit basic. Since I already manage a lot of my work with stacks of sticky notes in real life, I can see how the platform mirrors that style well but it falls short when it comes to more advanced capabilities like tracking lag or lead times between dependent tasks.

This software is either free or very inexpensive and it's really easy to work with. That simplicity matters a lot in a project management tool because if it feels pleasant to use, it's much easier to stay consistent with it.

Cons

Once you have a lot of notes and tasks, it can start to get tricky to keep everything organized. You really need a clear system in place so nothing gets overlooked. Other view options besides the board would be nice although the board-first approach is also part of why the application is appealing.

Having a clear pipeline for every project makes it much easier to keep work organized and track progress from one stage to the next.

At the beginning, it can feel pretty confusing to get used to. The Power-Up features also have room for improvement.

This tool has been a huge help in keeping our teams organized. It's so simple to use that we've even started using it for personal tasks outside of work.

The only downside is the attachment limit. I get that this isn't really the platform's main focus but having a 250MB cap on attachments with the Gold plan feels a bit restrictive. The workaround is simple enough though,just adding a Google Drive link to the card instead.

Using separate boards for timelines and tasks makes project management really organized. Although it's built with software projects in mind, it also works well for other similar types of work. Having complete visibility into the project history makes it much easier to monitor progress and see what has changed over time. There are plenty of add-ons available for handling schedules and timelines which adds a lot of flexibility. Each card can also include screenshots and other attachments and the customizable themes are a nice touch.

Cons

It would be much better if more of the extra functionality were included without relying on separate extensions. A lot of those add-ons are fairly expensive and they also use up memory in Chrome even when they aren't actively being used. Aside from that, the software is still a solid project management tool.

Pros

Before I jump into a project, this tool helps me get everything organized and sort my tasks in a way that makes the work feel more manageable. It also connects well with other planning and tracking tools I use, like Todoist and Clockify which is a big plus. On top of that, the interface feels clean, user friendly and quick to navigate.

Something I do wish was better is the time tracking inside the app. I'd also prefer a more organized workflow within the platform because there are moments when it feels like too many clicks are needed to get where I want to go. That becomes especially noticeable when I'm working quickly and trying to get ideas out of my head fast.

Pros

Being able to build my own boards and set them up however I want is a big plus. There are plenty of templates too which helps when I need ideas or a starting point. For personal projects solo work or a small business, this software does the job well enough. That said, it misses some of the tracking tools you get in other project management platforms, like sorting by assignee, viewing tasks in a calendar or list format or organizing by category. Because of that, I don't think it would be the right fit for a larger team.

Outside of having a large list of cards, there really isn't much flexibility in how cards can be viewed by date, on a calendar or grouped into categories. There might be a power-up that adds this but it's not included in the free plan. Another downside is that the free version used to let you invite others to any board and now that feature requires payment.

Pros

Has been a favorite for me because it's so simple to work with. Being able to organize my ideas into different spaces, tag the people I want to share with or assign tasks to and copy things over quickly makes a big difference for both my work and my business. It also helps a lot that this platform has such a solid mobile app along with desktop and laptop access. Another part I really appreciate is the control over what I can share and what I can keep private.

Cons

A few things still feel like they should be built in instead of needing another app to make them work. For example, I'd love to view all the boards I choose in one calendar and it would be much more useful if items could be copied across multiple boards instead of only one specific board at a time. More color options for sorting labels would also be a welcome improvement.

Pros

This tool gives me a lot of flexibility especially with the many integrations that help manage and carry out more complex tasks and assignments. I can use the same setup across very different kinds of projects which is really useful. Moving tasks around, assigning them to people and adding extra details is all very easy. I also like the note-style visual layout because it makes it easy to either step back and see the full picture or zoom in on the specifics. On top of that, the apps run really well on Mac, iPhone and iPad so I can get to my work from pretty much anywhere.

Cons

The one thing I'd really want added is live syncing with Google Calendar, along with a Gantt chart view for a better look at timelines and overall project progress.

Pros

Running a six-figure business on my own means I can't afford to lose time and this software has been incredible for keeping me focused and organized. I've worked as a professional project manager and used tools like MS Project but this is the first platform that really fits the way my brain works. It's flexible enough for me to map out long-term projects that span the year, manage one-off daily tasks and even build knowledge base boards so my processes are documented if someone needs to jump in and help. At this point, it's hard to imagine operating my business without it.

Cons

The one thing I feel is missing is true subtask functionality. There are workarounds but having the ability to connect cards in an actual hierarchy would make certain projects much easier to manage.
