flexible task cards and updates

Pros

Creating tasks and assigning them to the right person is really convenient in this software. It makes managing work much simpler. You can set up cards for each day of the week and assign specific work to a particular card for a particular team member. It also syncs with your email so you receive updates for every activity happening in the software. On top of that, you can set due dates and specific times as well.

Cons

In the beginning, it can feel a bit difficult to understand. After spending some time with it though, it becomes much easier to use.

user friendly

Pros

Right away, this tool's biggest strength is how easy it is to use. There are plenty of similar tools available but the solution does a better job of keeping the core experience simple without cluttering things up with unnecessary extras or random features most people will never touch.

Cons

Sometimes this tool can send more notifications than I'd prefer though there are settings available to tone down how often they come through.

handy integrations

Pros

The platform won me over with its clean interface, simple layout and overall user experience. It may not offer as many features as Jira but for what I need, it already has everything that matters which is exactly why I enjoy using it so much. The Slack integration and push notifications are also a nice bonus.

Cons

I don't really have any major complaints. If anything, it could add a few more features but that's not really necessary for my needs.

excellent power ups

Pros

Keeping smaller task lists organized in the tool feels really easy. The range of Power-Ups is excellent, giving you plenty of integrations with other apps. Its kanban-style layout is a very effective way to keep everything visible and on track. It's also nice that you don't have to build out custom workflows which makes it especially well-suited for non-technical users or small businesses.

Cons

Things get a little less enjoyable once your task list starts getting too large. The software still functions but scrolling through very long lists becomes boring pretty quickly. Switching between several boards or adding more columns doesn't really solve the problem either. A UI update could probably make that experience less irritating though at the moment it's more of a minor annoyance than a serious issue. I'd also really like to see calendar integration that automatically sends deadlines into Google Calendar reminders.

lightweight task tracking win

Pros

Handling multiple live events at the same time is much more manageable with this platform because it's lightweight and makes assigning tasks to specific people easy. The column and card setup has become a key part of our workflow and the checklists on each card make it simple to get a quick status update on projects at a glance.

Cons

Part that could be better is document uploading since it doesn't feel very accessible and the long link on the card makes things look a bit cluttered. It would also help a lot to have the option to color-code individual cards within a column and calendar integration would be a welcome addition.

visual boards and helpful tutorials

Pros

Moving cards from one list to the next is very easy and there are plenty of helpful tutorials from both this tool and bloggers. The interface looks nice and it's convenient that changes save automatically without needing to hit save or enter.

Cons

Time tracking is where it falls short. It's not very clear for estimating how long a project should take or seeing how much time it actually took. It also works better for internal use and smaller teams than for large groups or external clients.

welcoming interface

Pros

Right away, the interface feels welcoming and simple to follow which makes it easy to build a workflow that actually matches how your team works. Using the Kanban style, you can set up a process that reflects your daily tasks and projects and keep full visibility of where everything stands, from the backlog all the way to DONE.

Cons

The only limitation for me is that it doesn't offer as many integrations as I'd prefer. That said, when teams or projects become more complex, moving over to Favro is a simple option since it feels like the tool with a lot more power. I use Favro with Jira and Slack and that also takes care of the client communication side.

fantastic for team onboarding

Pros

The solution has been an incredible tool for my team when it comes to managing new customer onboarding. One of the biggest advantages is that it's free which makes it even better.

Cons

I do wish this tool included more built-in reporting features or at least allowed exporting more card and board data that could be used to build reports.

quick setup and smooth fit

Pros

Getting started with this tool was very easy. It didn't take long to learn, the setup was done quickly and it fit into our existing processes and tools without any hassle.

Cons

Its functionality is somewhat limited but that can be worked around pretty easily by pairing it with other low-cost tools like Google Sheets.

perfect for remote team tracking

Pros

Handling multiple projects at the same time is much more manageable with this for team collaboration. It makes it simple to follow progress, assign tasks to specific people, set due dates and stay on top of what the whole team is doing. It's especially useful for managers working with a lot of remote employees who want everyone's tasks tracked in one place. The boards are fully customizable and it's convenient to create separate ones for different teams under the same manager.

Cons

At this point, I really haven't come across anything I dislike about it. The only challenge has been getting everyone to use it the right way. Older users, in particular sometimes don't really understand how it works or why it's set up the way it is.

good tool to have

Pros

One of the standout features is definitely the drag and drop option for shifting tasks from one stage to the next. It makes managing progress feel quick and natural.

Cons

A downside is that it works as a separate tool from the rest of my workflow. If I'm using Git for source control and maybe an Azure CI/CD pipeline, I still have to return to the platform site to move a completed or in-progress task to the next stage.

Transformed our workflow

Pros

After using this tool across several projects and rolling it out for my small team, it completely changed the way we worked. We had been handling our graphic design requests in a Google Sheet before and the platform made everything much faster and far more organized. It helped us stay on top of deadlines and project status much better and we were able to give feedback a lot more quickly. My team responded really well to it too. One feature that stands out is how simple it is to drag cards from one list to another which gives an instant view of where everything stands.

Cons

I wish it had the option to create different templates for new cards so team members would automatically have the right fields and information to fill out whenever they start a new card.

real-time teamwork

Pros

Getting started with this software is very easy and creating boards and cards is quick and simple. Managing cards, moving them through different statuses and seeing updates happen in real time across multiple users makes it really valuable for organizing company tasks. We've also connected it with other tools without much trouble. On top of that, the free version includes almost everything needed to work effectively even at a medium to large scale, without having to move to a paid plan.

Cons

A few weaker areas still stand out and I don't think they've improved much lately. Searching for information can become genuinely difficult when there's a large volume of cards especially if you need to locate something specific. The alerts and event-tracking settings also feel limited and could use better configuration options.

very simple to use

Pros

The software definitely has a lot in its favor. It's VERY simple to use. Once you understand how a Kanban board works and how to set one up, everything feels easy. You open a card, drag and drop it where it belongs and update it when more information is needed. As a very basic single-project PM tool, it does what it's supposed to do and it's affordable at the $0 price point.

Cons

There's a long list of drawbacks I could get into but I'll keep it as brief as I can. To be fair, I use this platform for a LARGE development project which in my very professional opinion is not really the right fit for this tool. First, there's no WYSIWYG editor so you can't just add bold, italics, inline images or even linked text in comments. Everything ends up in the card's "attachments" section instead. When a card has lots of comments, that becomes frustrating because I have to read something like "see attachment called My Image," then jump to attachments and hunt for that exact file. Second, reporting is extremely limited. If you're expecting meaningful reporting, this isn't the tool for it. Even exporting to Excel leaves out basic details like the dates items were opened or closed. Third, there are power-ups which are supposed to help the solution get closer to what you actually need but on a free plan you can only use a limited number of them. Because of that, a lot of people end up working around the limits by using this tool in Chrome with extra browser plug-ins. I could say more but I also want to be fair because there are tools that are much better suited for detailed development work, JIRA being a good example and the platform clearly wasn't built for that kind of use. A lot of teams seem to choose it simply because it's user friendly and free.

powerful project tracking

Pros

Whether it's a simple to-do list or a more complex project, the solution handles it really well. It's very user friendly but still packed with powerful features that help keep everything organized, including change traceability and the ability to connect cards to other cards even across different boards which is incredibly useful. The Power-Ups are another big plus especially for integrations with Slack, InVision and other tools. With a well-defined process behind it, this tool can be more than enough to manage projects successfully.

Cons

It does depend heavily on having a strong process outside of this tool and a disciplined team in place since the platform itself doesn't offer much in the way of built-in workflows or restrictions for managing cards.

Adaptable for all uses

Pros

There's a lot to appreciate here, the product team keeps adding new features and improving the platform over time. The platform gives both teams and individuals a flexible way to plan organize and collaborate on just about anything. Its sandbox-style setup makes it incredibly adaptable for all kinds of uses, whether that's planning a trip, keeping up with household to-do lists, running a business, coordinating teams, managing schedules or assigning workloads.

Cons

Moving between a large number of boards works well overall but there's still some room to make that experience even better.

very dynamic

Pros

The tool is probably the most versatile web app I've used! You can practically make it do anything you need. It integrates with all the popular tools and I use it to manage work projects, personal projects, reminders, checklists and pretty much anything else I can think of. It really covers a lot and the Pro version gives you even more without being too expensive.

Cons

What would make it even better is having a list view for items with priority management on each board, as an additional way to see everything.

visible updates right away

Pros

One of the best things about this platform is being able to share a board or list through either a public or private link and have everyone see updates right away. That live syncing is especially useful when people are looking at it together, like during a phone call.

Cons

The problem for me is that custom background images cost extra. Still I get that those paid features help support the free version so it's not a dealbreaker.

organized teamwork

Pros

This tool is a dream if you love keeping things organized. I use a private board to sort out my own thoughts and from the team side, it makes it really clear to see what everyone is working on. Between the different columns, labels, boards and sections, it works really well no matter how large the team gets. You can assign people to requests, tag teammates and communicate openly right there which helps keep everyone aligned and on the same page.

Cons

The choice of backgrounds is pretty limited but if you're managing a lot of boards, that hardly feels important. Aside from that, it's a really solid tool and I genuinely enjoy using it.

helpful labels

Pros

Right away, the board layout makes a big difference. You can build cards inside each board and keep everything visible in one place which is really useful. The color-coded cards help a lot too. Our Operations team is currently using this software to manage projects and keep statuses updated. Since some projects overlap across categories or departments, being able to assign multiple labels makes things much clearer for everyone and the different filtering options add even more flexibility. It's simple to move from a big-picture view to a detailed visual breakdown. On top of that, attaching documents directly to cards is a huge plus. The tool also offers "Power-Ups," which let you connect it with other tools like Slack and Google Drive.

Cons

Getting started can feel a bit overwhelming. There are a lot of features and settings available so it's not entirely accessible at first. Still, the nice part is that you don't need to use every single option to make it work well.
