Perfect for task boards

Pros

A colleague recommended this tool to me last year and it has been genuinely useful for assigning and keeping up with daily tasks. I use boards to give designers their tasks, then move each card to the done list when the work is finished. After I've used the image, I shift that card to the archive list and create new assignments. I follow the same process across different boards for different people every week. It's very simple to work with.

Cons

Honestly I haven't come across anything I dislike about the platform.

easy to use

Pros

Creating and organizing boards is very easy and moving tasks around works really well especially for teams that follow scrum or build their workflow around kanban boards. It also makes collaboration simple since you can add other team members to a project and the community-built add-ons give it a lot of useful flexibility.

Cons

The mobile app still needs some work. Dragging cards across boards that are farther apart can be awkward and some of the gestures you need to use for certain actions don't feel very accessible.

love the design

Pros

The design feels polished and clean without coming across as cold or sterile. The software is quick, dependable and flexible enough to fit different ways of working. I use it to manage all of my non-project tasks at work and it handles that really well.

Cons

The one power-up limit on free boards can be a little frustrating at times. Still, I understand the company needs a way to make money. Honestly, it's tough to come up with much else to complain about with this platform.

I keep recommending!

Pros

It is something I end up recommending to just about everyone. It lets me keep a lot of tasks organized, including smaller tasks nested inside bigger ones which helps a lot. I also really appreciate being able to share only specific boards instead of everything especially when I'm working on projects with multiple people.

Cons

I still wish it had better calendar syncing or notifications that show up without having to open the app. When I don't check certain boards very often, it's pretty easy to forget there are upcoming tasks on them and they can slip off my radar.

collaborative platform

Pros

For newcomers, it works as a collaborative platform for people contributing to the same project or product. It uses vertical columns to represent each stage of work and cards for specific tasks or goals. Those cards can be assigned to team members and anyone on the team can leave comments or share feedback. The integrations and plugins are especially useful since they add a lot of flexibility and help customize the workflow to the product's needs.

Cons

When it comes to drawbacks, most of them seem tied to the product's positioning and intended audience. It feels like the product owners built this software mainly for project management use cases, while intentionally keeping it from becoming as complex as tools like Jira or Asana.

excellent stakeholder collaboration

Pros

From the initial idea all the way through execution, the tool handles the process really well. You can bring in all of your stakeholders which makes collaboration much better and it also connects nicely with other productivity tools.

Cons

At times some of the repetitive elements can get a little confusing.

solid roadmap visibility

Pros

Running this platform as our online Kanban board has been really helpful for our startup team. Everyone uses it and with such a small early-stage group of 4 people soon 5, it matters that the whole team stays aligned and current on priorities and the future roadmap. It gives everyone visibility into their own work, what other teammates are handling and where the company is headed overall. The solution works well as a simple tool for setting priorities and seeing the roadmap and backlog all in one place which makes it very convenient.

Cons

That simplicity also comes with some clear limitations. Even though I can create unlimited boards for different projects, being stuck with the default "To-Do List," "In Progress," and "Done" folder names makes it less flexible than I'd like. It also becomes confusing when I add a new list and drag a task between those three because the list order seems to rearrange itself based on some unclear logic. Adding a new task is quick and convenient but editing one and especially deleting it, takes more effort than it should. From a designer's perspective, the outdated interface and limited color options are also not very appealing.

perfect fit for small projects

Pros

This tool works really well for small projects and startups. As a project manager, it makes organizing to-do items very simple and is a solid place to begin when kicking off a project. I also use it for personal lists like goals, wish lists and even grocery lists. It becomes less practical though, when you need to manage large lists that have to remain highly organized.

Cons

It doesn't provide visibility into burn rate or some of the more advanced features larger teams may need. There also aren't native integrations for connecting directly to code. Scaling it for bigger teams can be challenging because cards can become lengthy and cluttered which makes it harder to get a clear view of everything. That said, for small projects, startups or MVPs, it's an excellent option and I'd definitely recommend it to anyone getting started.

useful integrations

Pros

Right from the start, this software felt very accessible. Moving cards with drag and drop is incredibly easy and features like checklists, comments and Slack integration all fit naturally into the workflow. Everything feels logical, practical and simple to use.

Cons

At the same time, it doesn't fully work for me as a complete project management solution because I haven't found any way to map dependencies between cards and the time-related features are fairly limited. If cards are being used as tasks, it would be much more effective if card movement could be blocked until prerequisite work is finished. Cards do support due dates but the tool doesn't really recognize when something is completed so those cards can still appear as due soon or overdue when they shouldn't.

visual task boards that click!

Pros

The software feels like an interactive online corkboard filled with sticky notes or index cards. Its layout naturally pushes you to break bigger projects into smaller, more manageable steps and that really helps keep things from feeling overwhelming. That's the part I appreciate most. You can also share boards with other people, assign individual cards, use color coding, set due dates and let supervisors or teammates watch a card for updates. It's useful even as a personal planning tool but it becomes even better when you're collaborating with others. It's especially helpful if you're a visual learner like I am.

Cons

This platform may not be the best fit if you're working on a project that's more fluid and doesn't divide neatly into categories or task lists. A few parts are also less user friendly than I'd prefer. Deleting a board, for instance, is far from accessible and I ended up spending quite a bit of time looking up how to do it. Some menus are tucked away which keeps the interface clean for basic tasks but when you need something inside those menus, like changing a setting or creating a new label, you may have to do some digging to find it.

keep me on track

Pros

The layout is something I genuinely enjoy. It's highly visual which makes it especially impressive when using it on a computer rather than a mobile phone. I rely on the solution to manage the to-dos for each project by writing down everything that will need my attention later. Because of that, at any moment during the week I know exactly what still needs to get done.

Cons

Using it on a mobile phone is where it becomes less convenient. The boards aren't very comfortable to navigate on a phone and if the board you want is farther back, you end up scrolling over and over just to add a new entry.

useful power-ups

Pros

Free version already comes with a lot and that's one of the things I appreciate most about the platform. It's very flexible and can be adapted for all kinds of workflows, whether that's a helpdesk, meeting agenda, people tracker, task list or plenty of other uses. The third-party add-ons or Power-Ups, add even more functionality to a tool that already has a strong feature set. The drag and drop setup works really well and we also make good use of its integration with GSuite.

Cons

This is a pretty minor complaint but I do wish creating a card and filling in all the details could happen in one step. Right now, you have to add the card first and then go back in to edit it which feels a little less convenient than it could be.

remote teamwork and deadlines

Pros

While I was using this software over the course of 1-2 years, I was mostly working from home, my manager was frequently traveling and three other co-workers were each on different part-time schedules. It worked really well for keeping everyone aligned on what each person was handling and when deadlines were coming up. We also used it while organizing a statewide conference for the association we managed and it was especially useful for keeping that whole project on track.

Cons

There were times when it became difficult to stay on top of everything especially when too much information piled up in it. We also had periods where we used it consistently and other times where we didn't which made it confusing to tell whether everything was fully up to date. Still, that felt more like a user issue on our end than a problem with the software itself.

accessible boards

Pros

It keeps all the important project information organized in one place, including brief details, deliverables and feedback. It also makes tracking the status of a project easy and the drag and drop file uploading is simple and convenient.

Cons

Almost every update or communication on a project can be tracked inside a card in the platform but not absolutely everything is recorded. A major example is that changes made in the project "description" field can be edited at any time without any history being logged. That creates the possibility for a project producer or someone else to correct mistakes or even change the project scope without the rest of the team noticing. As a result, it can cause confusion or even enable sneaky behavior.

all projects in one place

Pros

With multiple projects running at once across our company and different team members involved in several of them, this tool has been excellent for keeping everything organized in one central place. It helps everyone stay updated on the progress of each project without losing track of what's happening. Being able to add comments, upload files and receive notifications whenever parts of a project are completed or updated is especially useful. I also really value how clearly it shows the flow of a project from the initial idea all the way through to completion which makes it much easier to get a high-level view of where everything stands.

Cons

I haven't run into any real downsides with the platform. It would be nice if setting it up within Salesforce were possible but I believe that comes down more to Salesforce integration than to any issue with this software itself.

simple boards that just work

Pros

Right from the first login, this software feels easy and effective. I use it for both software project management and personal task tracking and it handles both really well. There's basically no learning curve at all because it's immediately clear how to get started and what to do next. If you're kicking off a project and don't want to spend time figuring out a complicated tool, the tool is absolutely worth considering. It gets the job done reliably for both personal and professional use.

Cons

There isn't one specific thing I dislike about the tool. That said, once your team gets larger and your project management requirements become more advanced, you may start to notice some limitations. It's really built around a simpler task management workflow so it may not be the best fit for more complex needs.

stay organized and aligned

Pros

Whenever a project needs a quick place to take shape, this is usually the first tool that comes to mind. It does a really good job of helping teams get ideas and tasks organized while keeping everyone aligned on the same board. Having a personal account adds a lot of value too since you can join different boards, whether they're private or public and collaborate with your team while watching progress happen across all the moving parts. The fact that you can get so much out of it for free is a big plus and while there are paid extras available, they're not necessary to enjoy the full core value of the product, they just add a little more if you want it.

Cons

One thing I'd still like to see is more detailed control over the board's color scheme.

part of my daily use

Pros

It is part of my daily routine for just about everything! I use it for work projects with teammates and clients, vacation planning and even collecting research for a book project. It's simple, enjoyable to use and very easy. Each board can have its own workflow so I can set goals, break them down into lists, add deadlines and use color labels to track the status of every card.

Cons

It's difficult to point out any downside because it works perfectly for me especially once you customize it with your own workflow patterns.

Easy to work with

Pros

Creating to-do lists in the platform is really easy and I can add specific deadlines, notes and checklists without any hassle. It's also useful that each card lets me attach files or images which helps keep everything in one place.

simple boards, limited project depth

Pros

The Gmail connection worked well and creating a new card was very easy. Once a task was finished, I could just drag it over to another board which felt convenient. I also really appreciated the Harvest integration for time tracking. The overall feature set is simple and quick to understand so people who aren't very technical will probably feel comfortable with both the desktop version and the mobile app. The calendar view was another highlight since it made due dates much easier to visualize.

Cons

At the same time, it just didn't feel like enough for what I needed. The interface really comes down to moving cards from one stack to another, almost like playing solitaire. Not being able to sort cards by due date was a pretty big disappointment. If you're juggling a lot of projects, multiple steps and team management, this platform starts to feel limited. On the other hand, if all you need is a simple to-do list with a few added features, it can still be a decent fit.
