love this!

Pros

Came into my life when I was working with a small business owner and the team relied on it to stay in touch, track responsibilities and keep the workflow organized. Since then, I've stuck with it especially in my freelance work. It's a very simple tool to work with and it helps keep me accountable to both myself and my clients. I can invite clients to their own board so they can check what I'm working on and see each project's status in real time. I also use the tool for my own business to monitor how I'm growing and building my brand. Lately, I've even started using it in my personal life to manage my own to-do lists. On top of all that, it's completely free. I can only imagine what the paid version includes but I'm sure I'll end up trying it eventually.

Cons

Honestly I haven't been able to come up with anything I dislike about the tool.

user friendly boards and features

Pros

Biggest advantage for me is how user friendly it is. Even people who aren't very tech-savvy can quickly understand how the different features work and start using them without much trouble.

Cons

If I had to point out one weak spot, it would be the onboarding experience. The "welcome board" as they call it, felt a bit boring to go through. I actually had more fun exploring the software on my own though that's just my personal preference.

accessible task tracking for everything

Pros

The solution has been part of how I manage everyday tasks in both my business and personal life. Moving around the platform and using its different features feels very easy depending on what I need to get done. The layout is also quite accessible so it stays efficient to work with and doesn't leave you wasting time trying to understand how anything works.

Cons

This isn't really a dealbreaker since I still use this tool but I do wish it had a calendar where lists could be placed directly. For instance, I follow the same operating procedure each day so right now I have to name the list or task for that specific day instead of creating one list and dragging it onto the date when I want to complete it. Hopefully that makes sense.

clean project visibility

Pros

Using the platform feels very easy and organizing projects in it is something I really enjoy. The dashboard gives me a clear view of what's coming up next and what tasks are still pending which helps a lot.

Cons

At this point, I really haven't come across many features I dislike. The more I use it, I may eventually notice a few things but nothing serious enough that would make me stop using it.

flexible boards for everything

Pros

This tool is incredibly flexible which is what I enjoy most about it. I can use it for personal to-do lists, work-related projects and even to automatically remind my kids about the chores they need to get done around the house.

Cons

It would be better if they made it simpler to automate the creation of tasks and their removal or archiving when they're no longer needed.

fun cards but limited layout

Pros

Once you get the hang of this platform, it's actually a pretty fun tool to use. Every idea becomes a card and from there you can keep building on it with reminders, attachments, due dates, images, notes and lists. If another idea comes up, you just make another card and keep going. There's a lot you can do within that card-based setup. You can also shift cards left or right to help with prioritization although that's the only direction available. The solution also offers a wide range of paid Power-Ups for extra features like messaging, Gantt charts, calendars and more. With the free plan, you get three Power-Ups but beyond that you'll need to pay monthly for Gold. It's helpful that you can create as many projects as you want and plenty of other project management tools like Basecamp or Asana offer integrations with this platform as well. Each project can also include its own team members which is useful for collaboration.

Cons

Biggest frustration is that cards can only be arranged left to right. There are times when moving things top to bottom or up and down would be really important so that limitation feels restrictive. A stack-style feature would make a huge difference. The Power-Ups are also hit or miss some are genuinely useful, while others don't add much value. On top of that some cost money and some don't and it's not very clear which ones are paid versus free.

favorite tool for simple projects

Pros

Among the productivity tools I use, this is easily one of my favorites and the free version is fantastic. It gives you exactly what you need to manage projects without all the unnecessary extras that most other project management apps pile on which usually just makes things more complicated. The mobile app is excellent too.

Cons

It hasn't been an issue for me since our team is very small but I can see it becoming a bit inconvenient when managing projects with a lot of people or ones that are very complex.

perfect for small teams

Pros

Getting organized with this software is pretty easy especially with color coding and the option to upload photos. It's quick to set up lists, checklists and notes which makes task tracking much more manageable. Although it doesn't have the depth of some larger project management platforms, it worked well for managing workflows across several employees when the business was still small. One thing I really appreciated is that even the free version allows multiple boards with different privacy settings. That makes it useful for keeping a personal board alongside separate boards for each major project and switching between them is fast and convenient.

Cons

The tool worked well for tracking staff workflows when the business was smaller but once we started growing, it became harder to keep using efficiently and more time-consuming to manage at scale. It's still really useful for personal task management though. Another issue is that if you don't organize sections and labels carefully, cards can get lost among too many text-heavy items which makes them harder to find later.

Pretty easy to use

Pros

Managing users and permissions across different sections is pretty easy. It works well for collaborating on separate sections and stories and setting up different areas to keep things organized is simple. The real-time updates help a lot with communication since everyone sees changes right away. I can also control who has access to my lists, share them with others and quickly add or remove people from viewing my workspaces.

Cons

This is more of a personal preference but I'd rather have the tiles arranged vertically instead of left to right. Deleting items also feels harder than it should be. As a full project management tool, it falls a bit short on functionality since there aren't due date reminders and some features don't feel accessible enough.

valuable tool

Pros

I use it to organize projects as a kanban board but also for systems, lists, strategy, to do items and even as a vision board. It's flexible enough to adapt to all kinds of different uses which makes it really valuable in everyday work.

Cons

Honestly, there's not much to complain about. It has made my daily life a lot easier.

clear view of priorities

Pros

Makes organizing team projects and tasks really simple and accessible. It's easy to assign work, break a project into smaller parts and divide responsibilities across different team members which helps balance the workload better across the whole team. It also gives everyone a clear view of current priorities so it's much easier to stay on track. The layout feels very familiar to me because I've seen it used in technology departments at offices I've worked in before. I'd definitely recommend considering this software for larger team projects if the goal is to improve workflow and keep progress moving.

Cons

I'd like to see better integration with communication platforms like Slack since that would make the overall workflow feel more connected and fluid. I'd also prefer stronger deadline features in this software, along with reminders being sent to the people assigned to tasks because that would help keep team projects progressing more consistently. I'm not currently aware of a built-in way to set deadlines there although that may already exist and I just haven't used it. Even with those possible improvements, this software's simple design still works really well for managing workflow.

Useful plugins

Pros

Keeps project management simple in a really practical way. It covers the key features you actually need without overcomplicating things so people don't get bogged down with admin work. The board structure works well: boards for projects, lists for the main processes or functions, cards for specific tasks and checklists for the smallest details. It's also versatile enough to use for personal or "life projects," not just work. On top of that, there are plenty of plugins available and it connects with Zapier too.

Cons

The free plan could include a little more though, for example, offering more than just one plugin would make it better.

fits everything well

Pros

This platform keeps giving me new ways to use it. I first picked it up for one work project and before long I had created tons of boards for my job, my side projects, things around the house and even one for my band. It works well for so many different situations and the experience has been consistently positive every time.

Cons

Now and then I get prompts to upgrade to the premium plan but it doesn't include anything I actually need right now. If the added features were more convincing, I'd probably consider paying for it.

keeps thins organized

Pros

Gives our team a more informal way to communicate and plan which has worked really well. It also helps me personally keep track of my own responsibilities while giving the rest of the team visibility into my progress. On top of that it makes it simple to stay in touch with teammates around shared tasks and responsibilities. We still use other tools like Smartsheet, for detailed implementation plans but the platform is the one we rely on for team account management and for keeping all the moving parts organized.

Cons

The notifications could use some improvement and it would be better if overall progress toward completion were easier to track.

modern design

Pros

Right away this software feels quick and responsive and the modern design makes it pleasant to use. One thing I really enjoy is how closely the mobile app matches the web version so switching between the two doesn't interrupt my workflow. Even though I spend about 95% of my time in the browser, it's nice knowing the mobile experience is nearly the same. Adding tasks and setting up columns is also very fast and easy especially compared with Jira which feels heavier and takes longer to manage.

Cons

At the same time, I'm still attached to a few Jira features that the tool doesn't offer and that keeps me from fully embracing it. First, I can't see one combined list of all my "in progress" tasks across different boards which is something I rely on to get a big-picture view of everything I'm actively working on. In the software, I have to open each board separately to check what's on my to-do list. Second, I wish this platform supported swimlanes. I know there's a Chrome extension for that but I haven't tested it yet. Third, I don't like that subtasks aren't visible directly on the board since you have to open the main task first in order to see the subtasks.

helpful syncing, limited organization

Pros

It doesn't take long to begin creating and organizing tasks for everyday life. The syncing feature is also really useful when you're on the go since it helps keep everything coordinated across devices. Another plus is that you can separate tasks into different spaces which makes it easier to keep personal and private matters apart.

Cons

That said, I'd still be hesitant to fully recommend this platform because its built-in organization features feel quite limited compared with other organization apps. There also isn't much you can do when it comes to sharing tasks so collaboration ends up feeling like a missed opportunity.

simple dashboards

Pros

Coming to the solution as a first-time user, the thing that immediately won me over was how simple the dashboards are. I'm not new to managing tasks and daily routines but this tool still made the whole process feel better. Without a doubt, it stands out as one of the few truly effective tools for both personal and work use. As a writer, it helps me stay organized with everything I need to get done. I honestly never expected to say this about an online platform but I can see myself using the platform for a very long time especially because it lets me attach documents, create checklists and share boards with as many people as I want to collaborate with.

Cons

I really don't have much to complain about. The only area where this tool could use some improvement is saving files properly when the internet connection is unstable. I'm not sure whether others have noticed the same thing but there are times when it seems like progress on my project doesn't get saved when my connection starts fluctuating.

Pros

Getting started with it is incredibly simple and it gives you exactly what you need to visualize workflows, to-do lists and similar tasks. It's been invaluable for me in both professional work and personal life.

love this!

Pros

Switching from an overflowing inbox and a handwritten to-do list to platform boards has been the best change for keeping my projects organized. It helps me keep track of where every project stands and that alone has made a big difference in how I manage my work. It also feels like the platform can do a lot more than what I'm using right now and I'm looking forward to learning how to get more out of it in the new year.

Cons

There's clearly a lot the software can do and honestly, more than I have time to dig into on my own. Since I freelance, I have to figure out how to make it fit my business without much guidance. I really wish I had someone who knew both this platform and the way my business works to help me set it up in the most useful way.

accessible boards and task tracking

Pros

Right away, this platform feels accessible and simple to navigate. It's been behd useful for keeping up with upcoming tasks and deadlines. Setting up boards takes almost no effort and the drag and drop option for moving tasks between columns is genuinely helpful. I also really enjoy the attractive background options available.

Cons

One thing I still miss is a notification feature that alerts me when a task deadline is getting close, whether that's through email or a desktop pop-up.
