affordable and flexible for teams

Pros

Among project management tools, the tool is one of the most widely used in the software industry. From my work in software teams, it has been flexible enough to fit different needs and it also adapts well to many other industries. Compared with other project management platforms, the software is more affordable and its pricing is less complicated which is a big advantage for small and mid-sized software companies.

Cons

Issue is that the software is a web based application so you can't use it without an internet connection. It also limits file uploads to 10 MB which can become an issue when you need to attach larger files to your tasks.

love the integrations

Pros

Right away, this platform feels polished and thoughtfully built especially with integrations for Google Drive, notes, links and checklists. It works really well when collaborating with one consultant on a project, like a content writing team for a blog or even when managing one of your own initiatives. The interface feels modern and accessible and there are a few nice touches for anyone who cares about design, like choosing your own background and using color-coding. It's also a solid option for documenting simple, repetitive tasks and processes.

Cons

As the number of projects grows or when the work becomes more complicated, the solution starts to struggle. A lot of projects turn into a very long side menu and more complex boards can become difficult to keep updated consistently. It also shows information in basically one format, with popups for extra details which can feel limiting. On top of that, getting a team or even just a few different people, to use it in a consistent and standardized way can be challenging.

project management tool

Pros

This tool works really well as the project management tool for my company. The interface is simple to use and being able to move and manage cards so freely is very helpful. It makes tracking jobs from the initial inquiry all the way through delivery much more manageable for my business.

Cons

The downside is that the free plan only includes a limited number of extensions. That said even though my company uses it to process orders, we still don't rely on it heavily enough to justify paying for a premium subscription.

board options for everything

Pros

One of this platform's biggest strengths is how simple the whole idea is. It basically feels like working with cards on a board but in a much more advanced and flexible way. Cards sit inside lists and the lists are managed within a board. Each card can include a title, multiple colored labels and even a cover image on the front. On the back, there's room for a detailed description, attachments from both local and online sources and a comments section. You can also assign cards to specific users, discuss tasks directly on them and set due dates. This software becomes even more powerful through its plugins especially when connecting with other cloud services, like sending a Slack message when something specific happens on a board. Because the concept is so easy, it works for almost anything that needs organizing. I've used it not only for work across multiple projects but also for things like planning a family vacation.

Cons

It's a really solid tool and it keeps improving all the time. I honestly don't have anything to complain about.

Clear task tracking

Pros

We rely on it to manage both personal tasks and larger team projects. The checklist feature on each card is especially useful since we can mark off every step as it gets done. Team members can also leave comments, add notes, set due dates and use tags which helps everyone stay aligned and on top of their work. It's a solid way to keep projects moving and stay organized.

Cons

A limitation is that each card only supports a single due date which becomes tricky when one project has several steps under the same card. Our team prefers to keep an entire project on one card as it progresses through different stages but that makes it harder to see when each individual step is supposed to be finished. The workaround has been to manually type due dates next to each task or keep changing the card's due date as each step comes up though it would be much better if multiple due dates were built in from the start.

good for task sharing

Pros

The solution offers a clean, easy way to organize tasks and moving them between priority levels is quick and convenient. I also really appreciate how simple it is to share lists with coworkers whenever collaboration is needed.

Cons

I don't like that it relies completely on having an internet connection. If I'm offline, I can't see updates other people have made and they won't see any changes from me either.

drag and drop organization

Pros

Keeping work organized is much simpler with this platform. It's excellent for arranging tasks, archiving them and setting reminders for pending work. The drag and drop card system is especially useful because it lets you place notes wherever you want without any hassle. I also really like the file preview feature since uploaded documents can be viewed clearly or downloaded right away.

Cons

Even though the homepage has a very appealing interface some features do not function the way they should. The calendar, for example, only displays the task up to a certain point and the labels are limited to colors only. It would be much better if labels could also include text. On the positive side, getting started with this software is simple because it feels very accessible and the tools are visible at a glance with their names briefly shown.

Easy to work with

Pros

So easy to use and the whole system is simple to understand. One thing I really appreciate is how flexible it is, however you choose to organize your work, it still feels like the platform supports it well without there being a wrong way to use it. It also works nicely across any web browser and the mobile app and everything loads quickly.

Cons

The checklist feature is useful but after items are completed it creates a summary of what was done and that can make a card in the platform feel a bit cluttered. At least there's an option to hide that summary which helps. I also occasionally miss email notifications although that doesn't happen very often.

fantastic browser-based workflow

Pros

Using this platform feels surprisingly dynamic and hands-on for a web app. It delivers the kind of flow and functionality you'd normally expect from installed software yet everything runs right in the browser. Paired with the features it offers, the solution feels on another level. I honestly wouldn't want to use any other app for project management.

Cons

There's not much to complain about with the solution but if I had to point out one issue, it would be that organizing boards into groups can be difficult.

boards that have many uses

Pros

This platform's flexibility was a big plus. We started with one intended use but it ended up fitting a much wider range of purposes than we originally expected.

Cons

It's also quite basic. Beyond sorting organizing and categorizing cards, there isn't much available when it comes to more advanced functionality.

stay aligned!

Pros

The Kanban setup with To-Do, In-Progress and Complete lists does a really nice job of keeping projects aligned with your timeline and dragging tasks from one column to another feels genuinely satisfying. It's also helpful that you can add different types of media, like links and images, directly into cards which makes everything more useful in one place. On top of that, collaborating with coworkers on a shared project board is simple and works well.

Cons

Not having a easy way to duplicate a board frustrates me which means you basically have to rebuild each project from the ground up. That becomes especially annoying when you run the same kind of project repeatedly. If you're planning events for instance, you may need recurring tasks like "Secure a location," "Identify sponsors," and "Promote the event" every single time. Before my company switched to this platform, I used Excel and Google Sheets for project planning and copying a project template there was much more convenient. I'm also not a fan of the subtask feature visually or from a usability standpoint so I usually rely on checklists instead.

daily planning that just works

Pros

Has become part of my everyday routine, both for managing my personal to-do list and for keeping track of tasks across multiple customers and projects.

Cons

Nothing really stands out as a major issue. If anything, having a quicker one-click option to delete or archive cards would be a nice improvement.

everything I need to be productive

Pros

The platform gives me everything I need to keep a productive workflow running with kanban boards. The Slack integration is very easy and my favorite part is being able to create tasks right from my mailbox using a dedicated this software email address.

Cons

I really haven't run into any problems. I do have the mobile app installed but I hardly ever use it and that's not because there's anything wrong with the app.

fun and delightful!

Pros

This platform has a lot of personality and even little touches like Taco, the platform's dog mascot always make me smile. The design and overall concept are simple so it's easy to get started and keep building on it as you go. It gives you just the right amount of features to be useful without feeling overloaded or too rigid.

Cons

I don't have any real complaints about the solution. It's a really solid piece of software and I genuinely enjoy using it.

Fantastic tool!

Pros

Right from the start, this tool feels simple to use while still offering a lot under the hood. It looks clean and visually appealing but it's also genuinely powerful. I use it every day to keep track of work projects and it handles everything I need for that purpose.

Cons

There's very little to dislike about the platform. The keyboard shortcuts are really useful but if someone isn't shown they exist, they might never realize they're available.

best visual project tracking

Pros

After using this software for several years, it still feels like the most visual productivity app I've worked with. The way boards, lists and cards interact gives you a lot of flexibility in how you set up and manage projects and daily tasks. People often say it's especially suited to design professionals but honestly, I think it works incredibly well for people in any industry.

Cons

A few features are only available through add-ons such as the ProTrello Chrome extension.

Keep up!

Pros

Gives you a clear visual snapshot of the projects you're actively handling and it makes collaboration simple since other people can update the cards as work moves along. Creating custom cards is pretty easy and adding a picture or logo helps distinguish projects that might otherwise look too similar. Shifting cards from one stage to another is quick which makes it convenient to track where every project sits in the overall timeline. It's also helpful that this platform can link you straight to email or phone contact options for clients using the details stored on their card so there's no need to copy and paste anything.

Cons

There isn't really a convenient built-in way to set reminders for yourself unless you go into each card one by one. For a smaller number of projects, it's a budget-friendly option that keeps a team organized but once the workload grows and deadlines start to matter more, it doesn't hold its value nearly as well.

I stay focused with this software

Pros

After trying a bunch of different tools for managing content across my websites, I ended up coming back to the solution. I mostly use it to plan content and it's been the most easy option for me. The interface is really simple which helps me stay focused on tasks and progress instead of getting sidetracked. A lot of other project management platforms feel overloaded with features and that usually becomes more distracting than helpful. This tool gives me a clean, uncluttered way to manage projects and that's exactly why I'd recommend it.

Cons

For what I need, this tool works perfectly well. That said I can understand why some people might see it as a bit limited compared with other project management tools. If you're after a more complete management system that also handles things like proposals, invoices and similar functions, the platform probably isn't the right choice.
