Meets my standards

Pros

Gives me a really visual way to keep up with project progress which works perfectly for how I like to organize things. Adding team members, assigning tasks and moving items around with drag and drop is probably my favorite part and I can update or edit every part of a project just as easily on desktop as I can on mobile.

Cons

Since I'm very visually oriented, the interface works well for me but I can understand why it might feel a bit limiting or awkward for someone who prefers a more list-based or command-line style of working.

use across devices

Pros

Using the platform across different platforms has been really convenient. It feels flexible and accessible and I can share content to this software or turn pages and similar items into cards within lists without much hassle. I also appreciate being able to collaborate on certain boards while keeping others private when needed.

Cons

Some features and parts of the interface vary depending on the platform so the functionality and appearance are not always consistent.

excellent tool!

Pros

It's been an excellent tool for tracking project progress and staying current on where things stand and the collaboration features are something I really appreciate. After trying the free version myself, I ended up recommending it to my supervisor and she decided to purchase Business Class for the whole team. The Power-Ups add a lot of flexibility which makes it possible to shape the software into whatever setup works best for your workflow. Our team really enjoys using it.

Cons

Change in pricing terms for guests who need access to multiple boards is annoying. It used to be free to let them observe more than one board but now once a guest is added to multiple boards, their account has to be converted into a multi-board account which increases the cost. That makes collaboration more expensive for people who only need visibility into more than one project. I can understand the reason behind charging for that level of access but it would be much better if guests could still view at least two or three boards before extra fees apply.

flexible boards for everything

Pros

The tool's flexibility is fantastic! There isn't one fixed way to set things up which makes it easy to organize everything around your own style. It really feels customizable instead of forcing you into a specific system. It also works just as well for personal tasks as it does for work projects. I haven't started using it in my everyday life yet but I can definitely see myself doing that.

Cons

At times, it's a little hard to keep up with all the communication happening in the comments on each card.

simple concept that works well

Pros

It keeps things simple in exactly the right way. It takes a easy concept and pushes it to its full digital potential which makes it a pleasure to use.

Cons

The design feels a little old-fashioned and dated though I can understand how difficult it is to improve something when the core concept already works so well.

perfect for volunteer projects

Pros

Works really well for organizing group-managed projects. We use it to lay out the tasks that need to be done and people can assign themselves to whatever they want to take on. It's been a really valuable tool for keeping our volunteer team and all of their projects organized and running efficiently.

Cons

There is a bit of a learning curve if you've never used a project board before since it doesn't function like a simple checklist-style task manager.

feature rich

Pros

The way you can drag cards from one list to another so fluidly gives it a distinctive feel. Since each card can hold a lot of detail, it works just as well for something simple like a shopping list as it does for building a full project-management-style workflow. Overall, the interface feels natural and accessible to use.

Cons

Because this platform is so flexible, it is not built specifically for one particular use case so it takes some setup and trial and error to figure out the best system for your needs. It also may be missing certain niche features that you would get from software designed for a more specialized purpose.

Quick team adoption

Pros

Is very visual and customizing it to fit the way you work is simple. It doesn't take long for teams to get comfortable with it either which makes onboarding pretty quick.

Cons

Where it falls short is in handling epic, project and task relationships since there isn't a solid structure for that. Reporting is also lacking and the paid power-ups are way too expensive for what they offer.

brilliant boards for every task

Pros

Organizing cards into columns is such a simple idea but it works incredibly well. I can use it for all kinds of things, whether I'm planning a run of events, putting together a to-do list or even writing out instructions for employees.

Cons

Removing a card takes a few more clicks than I'd expect. There are times when I want to delete it completely right away instead of archiving it first so a one-click delete option would be much more convenient.

So convenient

Pros

This software's biggest strength is how simple it is. There's nothing overly complicated about it, it's basically a Kanban board but the product team made it so clean and accessible that competing tools can feel unnecessarily complex by comparison. A lot of that comes down to the UI and the way everything is organized. It's also very affordable and honestly, you can get plenty of value from it without needing to pay for the premium version.

Cons

Once you're managing 10 or more projects, the software can start to feel too basic. There's no real way to connect projects or link them together so if you're overseeing multiple boards as a manager, you end up having to track each one separately. After a while, that gets pretty confusing and hard to manage.

handy integrations

Pros

This platform keeps things simple to use while still being really practical. I can invite other people to my boards, create as many boards as I need, set deadlines and manage tasks with a drag and drop Kanban-style workflow. The integrations with other tools, like Slack, are also very useful and make it fit nicely into our daily process.

Cons

Email reminders are missing. Also when a card is finished, moving it to the "done" column is not enough on its own since it still has to be archived separately which adds an extra step.

For fast planning

Pros

Getting started with this tool takes almost no time and the whole setup feels very accessible. It's much lighter than bulkier tools like Basecamp and it works more like a connected, layered version of old-school Post-it notes and day planners.

Cons

That said, it can feel a little too simple at times. It also doesn't handle nested projects particularly well.

Packed with power-ups

Pros

Right away, this software feels like a very polished product. It runs quickly and reliably across different platforms and using it never feels like a hassle which is a big reason I recommend it to just about anyone for almost any kind of project. Getting started is also very accessible because this platform's lists and cards mirror how people naturally organize things in real life so there's barely any learning curve. It's fast, simple to set up and highly flexible. On its own, the tool already does a lot but once you begin using its many integrations and power-ups, it becomes incredibly powerful. The mobile app is excellent as well. Anything you can do in the web app can also be done on mobile and the experience stays consistent and smooth between platforms. It's also highly customizable, from the way you organize boards, lists and cards to personal touches like background images and stickers which helps create a more comfortable workspace. Features like due dates, assignments, comments, file attachments, checklists and more are all built in. The software really covers a lot. On top of that, it's free to use and if you want more advanced features, Business Class is reasonably priced and absolutely worth considering.

Cons

There really aren't many downsides to the tool but no tool is perfect. One issue is that linking cards across different boards still isn't as easy as it should be. Business Class lets you create board groups which definitely helps with organization but there still feels like a noticeable disconnect when working between boards. Another missing feature is basic image editing. Something as simple as rotating an uploaded image isn't available which is surprisingly limiting and would be a valuable addition.

A huge relied to have!

Pros

After trying another task management tool that promised everything and turned out to be a frustrating mess, the software was a huge relief. I originally bought Monday.com after seeing ad after ad about how simple it was supposed to be but actually entering tasks felt like way too much work. If adding items to a to-do list becomes a chore on its own, then the whole system falls apart and I end up right back with my old laundry list.txt that keeps getting longer. Still, I was fully sold on the idea of digital task management so I started signing up for every trial that looked even remotely promising. I almost skipped this platform because the pricing seemed too good to be true and I usually believe you get what you pay for. Then a very successful client mentioned that his team had gone through the same struggle and eventually settled on the solution. We gave it a shot and never turned back. In the end, it's simple, it does exactly what we need, we actually use it and that's what matters most.

Cons

Only a small complaint from me: on my 13-inch laptop, I wish I could fit more modules on the screen instead of needing to scroll sideways. There may already be a way to do that but if there is, I haven't figured it out yet.

Amazing experience

Pros

Managing active projects with this tool has been an amazing experience. It works really well for tracking updates, coordinating the team, setting task priorities and keeping everything organized in one place. I'd definitely recommend using it with your team to handle projects more efficiently. It's also very helpful that updates are available through the mobile app. One feature that would make it even better would be the ability to download projects, save them offline and then access or use them from another account.

Cons

There isn't much I dislike about this software. If I had to mention one thing, it would be that when I start adding more elements like colors, textures, tasks and other features, it becomes a little slow to open.

Keeps projects on track

Pros

Whether it's for work or personal planning, the platform has the features and flexibility needed to stay on top of any workflow. The best part is being able to bring other developers into a project and let them instantly see current feature progress, completed tasks and custom notifications. That setup makes collaboration really practical and overall this software feels like the benchmark for workflow management tools.

Cons

There honestly isn't much to complain about because the overall experience is very good. The only thing that can get in the way is not being familiar with all the available features since that can make the tool feel a bit outdated at first. Once you understand how everything works though, it becomes much easier to get the most value out of it.

task tracking favorite!

Pros

This is the classic easy tool for keeping track of tasks, processes soPs, projects and similar work. It does the basics really well but once you need anything more advanced, you'll have to move up to a paid plan.

Cons

It doesn't offer the deeper functionality you get with more effective project management platforms, even if those tools are more complex. Customizing it for our specific needs was also difficult which is ultimately why we moved to a different system.

Pros

Using it feels very natural right away so there's hardly any need for onboarding. It works really well whether you're managing things on your own or collaborating with a team.

Cons

It starts to feel limited once you need more advanced functionality like mirroring cards across different boards. There are a few workarounds available but at our scale they just weren't practical.

Pros

The headline really sums it up. The interface is clean and easy so even someone using it for the first time can figure it out without much effort. It handles the core tasks well and getting started doesn't require days of training or a long learning curve.

Something thing that would make it better is having a simple way to embed one card inside another.

Pros
