task tracking that keeps up

Pros

It makes it simple to log, track, edit and update tasks and project requests without much hassle.

Cons

Creating a new card feels pretty outdated. It's still not clear what the intended flow is, whether I'm supposed to add a member after creating the card or at some other point. The Add Card layout doesn't really guide the user so the process feels confusing. The options menu should live inside the card itself so it's more obvious how everything is supposed to be added. Even after selecting a member, it's not clear how to properly close that menu and I often end up adding the same person twice because I get it wrong the first time. There are also times when I'm sure I created a card but it disappears and I have to make another card just to get the first one to show up again.

Easy to figure out

Pros

Simple to navigate, visually appealing and flexible enough to adapt to just about any project. It works really well for agile workflows and makes it easy to keep everything organized. Features like color-coded labels, assigning members to cards and using multiple boards help keep projects separate and much easier to follow.

Cons

I just wish it offered a bit more overall. The more customization, the better and I'd also love to get a notification whenever a card is dropped into a list.

simple file sharing

Pros

What really works well is being able to set up multiple boards and choose exactly which people should have access to each one. That makes collaboration on shared projects much more practical since everyone involved can see the work they need to see without having access to every other project. I also really appreciate that the platform lets you attach all kinds of files directly into the workflow.

Cons

This probably would have stayed as the software I used for all of my project management if the design had been handled better, calendar integrations had been included and there were a built-in progress bar to show project completion. The layout ended up being somewhat confusing for parts of my team. On top of that, there is no clear visual way to track progress unless you build a checklist inside the project and monitor that instead and even then the setup makes discussions around those individual checklist items more complicated than they should be. Overall, it feels a little too outdated and not visually appealing enough for us to make it our main task management tool.

Quite open ended

Pros

It's biggest strength is how intentionally open-ended it is. The way it was designed makes it work for all kinds of needs so almost any team or department can adapt it to whatever process they already have. That feels like a really smart product and marketing decision. The platform also keeps getting updated and refined which shows the team is still actively improving it. On top of that, they provide helpful resources, like their blog, that do a good job of answering questions. The small easter eggs built into the product also add a fun element that makes using it more enjoyable.

Cons

There are two drawbacks that stand out to me. First and this one is fairly minor, you can't customize label colors or add Hex codes to match your company's branding. I can understand that this may be tied to supporting color blind mode which would be harder to manage with custom colors but it still feels limiting. Second, horizontal scrolling gets really awkward once you have a lot of lists, boards or tasks. When things start piling up, moving across everything becomes inconvenient and it gets very difficult to quickly find what you're looking for.

fantastic team visibility

Pros

One of the best things about this tool is how well it helps manage timelines, tag team members to remind them about pending tasks and give full visibility into the work each person is contributing. Beyond the basics, the integration with other communication tools works perfectly too.

Cons

At this point, I really haven't run into any issues:) The features offered by this software are covered very well.

project management tool

Pros

Dragging and dropping cards across lists makes the platform one of the most helpful visual project management tools I've used. It feels a lot like working from a wall covered in sticky notes but much better since each note can hold as many extra details and notes inside it as you need, if that makes sense.

Cons

If I had to point out one downside, it's that once all the boards are laid out, finding a specific one can be pretty difficult. I'd really like a list view for boards so they could be sorted however you want.

better teamwork with this software

Pros

Completely changed how I organize my projects! I use lists to represent each stage and the cards inside them help break tasks down into more specific action items. Being able to move cards between boards has created a lot more flexibility in how I work. Other really useful features are checklist importing and the power-ups available for boards. When it's set up properly, this software is fantastic and makes team collaboration much more effective.

Cons

It doesn't have the option to create sub-cards within a card. Our QA team often marks certain parts of a feature as unfinished or reports bugs and handling all of that inside a single card can be limiting. Also, when updates are made to a card, notifications do not always go back to everyone assigned to that card or watching the list. It would be much better if users were automatically alerted whenever someone made changes to a card.

fantastic team organization hub

Pros

The tool has been one of the most advanced tools I've used for organizing, sharing and splitting up tasks. It really helps reduce the workload for each individual which makes a big difference when working with a team. I genuinely enjoy this software's interface and another valuable feature is how simple it is to add content or copy and paste material from other sources. It creates an excellent space for collaboration. Our team uses this tool regularly and it has left us very satisfied. The features are useful and they're also simple to learn and use.

Cons

This tool works well overall but there are still moments when it feels like some areas need improvement. I do not want to focus too much on the negatives though one issue stands out for me: the search function does not perform very well and that makes it difficult whenever we want to quickly open or access something through it. I would really like the team behind the platform to improve this part of the platform. Most people on our team have discussed the same problem and have even looked for alternative ways around it. Hopefully this will be improved soon.

Keeps teams moving

Pros

Switching from long, boring email threads to the software made a huge difference for us. It's an excellent Kanban-style tool for keeping all project communication in one place and we also rely on it to manage our to-do lists. Being able to check progress straight from the phone app is really convenient. It doesn't take long to get comfortable with and the platform offers plenty of useful features. The workflows look polished and the project management approach works really well.

Cons

I'd prefer a one time payment option for the power ups instead of paying a monthly flat fee. It's also a bit disappointing that this platform doesn't include Gantt charts since those are especially useful if you prefer a more visual way to track projects.

fitting for client onboarding

Pros

Best project management tool I've worked with! We rely on it whenever we onboard new clients and it keeps everything moving nicely even when new team members jump in.

Cons

An area that could be better is the email notifications. The layout is a little difficult to scan quickly so a simpler email format would make a big difference.

powerful boards

Pros

This software has been part of my workflow for years and it still feels like a really solid project management tool for working with teams and staying connected. It covers communication, collaboration and task organization in one place. 1. One of the best things about it is that the tool is free and the free plan gives you far more than you would normally expect which is honestly impressive. 2. It also connects with a wide range of third-party apps and tools and that can take your project management setup to another level. That said, this particular feature is not included in the free plan. 3. Another standout feature is the ability to use rules and commands to automate boards. That is where this tool really shines and a lot of users still seem to overlook how useful it is.

Cons

My only real complaint is that the platform does not seem to evolve much. New features are not introduced very often and at this point that feels like something the platform really needs.

Essential to have

Pros

Getting started with this software was almost instant and there was basically no learning curve involved. Labels, checklists and filtering options do a really good job of keeping even our busiest boards organized so things don't slip through the cracks. I'm also a big fan of how visual it is , the card-based setup is much more appealing to me than traditional list-style project management tools.

Cons

The Calendar view is a nice concept but once a board has a large number of cards, it tends to slow down way too much and doesn't perform very well.

Allows transparency

Pros

Right from the start, the interface feels polished, simple and creative so it's easy to jump in and begin setting up workflows, projects and communication processes without much friction. I also really appreciate how flexible the platform is, along with the mobile app and the wide range of notifications that help keep everything transparent across teams.

Cons

That said, it doesn't offer much beyond the core basics so it can feel a bit one-dimensional even though it still works well for what it does. Getting the team fully ramped up internally can also take quite a bit of time. Even though the setup feels accessible, getting everyone to truly understand how to use it can be just as challenging.

Can be used for anything!

Pros

Works really well across a lot of different use cases, from requirements and screenshots to mockups. We organize boards by customer and project, use lists for categories like backlog, QA and complete and keep individual use cases or features on cards. The way everything is contained and structured makes it simple to get a clear view of what's being delivered, what's already finished and which items have been passed along.

Cons

A direct integration with eBility Time Tracker would add a lot of value for us. We currently use lists labeled billable and build so as development moves forward, gets completed and goes into production, we can charge for the work. If the software and eBility were synchronized so time could be tracked inside this platform and only invoicing needed to be handled in eBility, it would cut down on extra effort and give us a fast ROI. That would make the purchase a very obvious decision for us.

Handy widgets

Pros

The visual, drag and drop setup is one of my favorite parts of the tool. The mobile app and widgets are also really useful and we end up relying on them a lot.

Cons

A challenge is that it's not always easy to view multiple projects at the same time when you're on the go or get a full high-level picture of everything happening. It also takes some workarounds to fit certain project types especially recurring tasks and activities.

accessible boards

Pros

Picture a board covered with sticky notes, that's the best way to describe this tool. It's one of the most user friendly tools out there and it feels more like an app than a traditional website. This platform also works well on nearly any screen size. The interface for organizing tasks and boards is very accessible and the Kanban-style layout is simple, practical and logical. Tasks are stacked from top to bottom, while categories run from left to right so everything is easy to follow. Editing is quick with a double-click and moving cards up, down or across lists with drag and drop feels natural. The integrations with Gmail and Google Docs are especially useful and powerful and bringing new members into a board is simple too.

Cons

When tasks follow a recurring cycle, this tool doesn't really offer a built in way to track that properly. There's also no Gantt chart available. It's not the best fit for large projects with lots of users because things can become complicated fast and tracking project status in this software can turn into an extra challenge. Another downside is the lack of a separate notification feature for spotting newly added content in between updates. People often have to open and review all the cards just to see what was added recently and that can become monotonous even for smaller deadline driven projects.

perfect for team planning

Pros

Keeping work organized and shared with a team feels really easy in the software. Adding detailed task descriptions, along with files and images, is simple and moving cards between lists makes it easy to keep everything structured. Creating and rearranging lists is quick and the variety of fun backgrounds is a nice bonus since changing them only takes a moment.

Cons

I didn't run into any problems with this platform. It did exactly what I needed it to do. I only stopped using it because another project required Teamwork, not because I wanted to switch. Compared with the tool, Teamwork felt far too complicated and packed with unnecessary features. If you don't need time tracking and just want a easy way to manage current work, upcoming tasks and shared assignments, this tool is the best option.

Awesome tool!

Pros

Being able to manage both personal and work projects from a single account is a big plus since I can keep them separate with different dashboards or by joining a team. Creating new tasks is quick and moving them across the Kanban board feels very natural. It also lets me add deadlines, assign people, use colors and include other helpful details. And the fact that it's free makes it even better.

Cons

The issue is that it still needs me to type everything myself instead of somehow reading my mind. Reminder and alarm settings are also not as flexible as in some other business tools. Another thing missing is a proper summary of how much time each person or task has taken.

Plentiful plugins

Pros

As a free Kanban-style tool, the platform handles our entire production workflow without any trouble. The feature set is really solid and there are plenty of plugins available to extend what it can do.

Cons

It really lacks in reporting. It isn't built to be a reporting or tracking tool although some paid plugins can cover that to a degree. In the end, it comes down to how much you're willing to spend.
