A must have!

Pros

This platform does a really good job of keeping a team organized. It also makes communication simple, whether you need to reach everyone or just a few specific team members.

Cons

Like with any switch to a new system, there can be some resistance at first. I'd also like stronger privacy settings so I can better control who is able to view my board.

Satisfied user

Pros

A free the tool account gives you access to plenty of useful features without feeling too limited. You can manage multiple boards and cards, attach files, work with unlimited users, mention other people in cards or comments and connect it with services like Bitbucket and Google Drive.

Cons

Moving cards between columns could be better. The drag and drop action sometimes makes the browser crash and the card move option itself doesn't feel very accessible.

Became my favourite

Pros

Has quickly become one of my favorite tools for managing projects and keeping track of everything. The layout looks clean and visually appealing, never bulky or awkward and the power-ups let you customize it in a lot of useful ways. It also feels very accessible so getting the hang of it and learning how to use it doesn't take much effort.

Cons

I'd like to have the option to upload personal images as backgrounds for different boards. There may already be a power-up for that and I just haven't come across it yet. That said, the built-in background images are gorgeous so it's hardly a real complaint.

fantastic for teamwork and tasks

Pros

Does exactly what it's meant to do and it does it really well. It's an excellent tool for collaborating, keeping track of tasks and I even rely on it for my personal to-dos. If you're looking for task management software that makes communication simple and sharing information easy, this tool is definitely worth using.

Cons

There's not much to complain about. Every now and then a small bug shows up but it's usually resolved in the following update.

versatile boards for everything

Pros

You can sign up for free and use it to manage practically anything as an individual or with a team, projects, resources, ideas, recipes, book outlines and pretty much whatever else works on index-card-style boards. It's like a filing cabinet and cork board taken to another level. You can tag items, attach files and links, assign roles, send messages, add things to a calendar, build task lists, rearrange everything with click-and-drag, color-code card groups, archive old items, set due dates and reminders and the features just keep going. It's genuinely enjoyable to use, even for people who normally aren't very organized.

Cons

The free version covers the basics and includes the essentials. If you need more advanced features especially for managing larger teams, you'll need a paid subscription. Honestly, that doesn't feel like much of a downside since it makes sense that the platform charges for a product that offers this much value.

Easy to navigate

Pros

Getting a team started with this software takes almost no effort. For basic use, the learning curve is practically nonexistent: you create a board, invite people and everyone can immediately begin adding notes and tasks. Collaboration feels natural, updates happen in real time and it works just as well for simple task tracking as it does for more complex workflows. It's very flexible so you can shape it around whatever your team needs. Another big plus is that there's no need to install anything unless you want to since the web version is more than enough. It's also been extremely reliable for me over the last three years, I honestly can't remember ever seeing it unavailable.

Cons

Because everything is so quick and easy, it's possible to click into the wrong card and start typing there by mistake. That's really the only downside I've run into with the software since overall it has been a very solid tool.

clear card chats

Pros

Using this product feels very natural right away and it's incredibly accessible. It's also very hard to miss conversations happening inside the cards which keeps everyone on the same page. Bringing new people on board is simple and doesn't take much effort.

Cons

The only real downside is a small annoyance when dragging cards especially since I do that a lot. Moving them to lanes that are off-screen can be a bit awkward so I usually end up switching the lane through the dropdown menu instead.

visual boards keep work moving

Pros

This platform's digital boards were one of my favorite parts. Having separate to-do, doing and done columns is incredibly useful especially for anyone who prefers a visual way to track progress. It also works well for collaboration since multiple people can comment on tasks or complete them which cuts down on wasted time. The calendar is another big advantage because it helps with planning your day, week or month and makes it easier to shift deadlines when priorities change. Being able to attach images is also really valuable something like a paint sample can be added directly so everyone has the right details from the start instead of going back and forth for clarification.

Cons

When a lot of people are adding projects, the workspace can start to feel a bit cluttered. That becomes even more noticeable when there are several boards being handled by multiple users at once. I'd also love to see password-protected boards added since that would make it safer to store and share sensitive information only with the people who should have access. Another feature that would help is the option to duplicate tasks because retyping the same task again and again gets repetitive.

love having it everywhere

Pros

Platform boards have become a huge part of how I stay organized. My manager first introduced me to Kanban and this platform and since then I've been using it constantly both at work, where my team requires it and in my personal life for my own productivity. Back when we started, it was only a basic web app that worked in the browser but I enjoy it even more now that there are installable versions for my devices, including Mac for office work, Windows for my personal PC and Android for my phone. Being able to check my boards wherever I am has made it much more convenient. The newer Home page which feels a bit like a Facebook-style wall, is also really helpful because it gives me a quick overview of cards and boards that were recently updated or are getting close to their due dates. That becomes especially useful once you're managing a lot of boards. The notifications are excellent too. I get email reminders when a card is due or when someone on the team updates something which helps me stay on top of tasks. Another feature I really appreciate is the ability to share boards publicly, privately or just with teams. That flexibility makes it useful for collaborating with outside stakeholders or even sharing something more broadly if needed.

Cons

A limitation with the free version is that it doesn't let you export all of your boards into a spreadsheet format like Excel. I was still able to test that feature before subscribing by using a free Power-Up so at least there was a workaround. Another thing I still question is why a card has to be archived before it can be deleted. There may be a reason behind that setup but at times I just want the option to delete a card immediately without the extra step.

colorful boards

Pros

This software has really helped me keep tasks organized and spread work across my team. It gives me a clear view of where each process stands which makes it much easier to make timely decisions. The part I enjoyed most is how customizable the workspace is since I can create visual differences for every task with colors, images and emojis. The interface won me over too, it has a minimalist design but it's completely practical and useful. Sharing a link and setting up a workspace is also very easy; you create an account and can start organizing and automating right away.

Cons

An issue is that the workspaces are not responsive in design. When there are a lot of tasks, they line up side by side instead of stacking underneath and that makes operations slower and harder to manage efficiently.

perfect digital sticky notes

Pros

Was one of the first project management tools I started with and I've loved using it ever since. The free version is fantastic and I've recommended it to plenty of people because of how useful it is. The drag and drop setup for the lists matches exactly how I like to work. I've always been a fan of sticky-note to-do lists and being able to move tasks from one stage to the next makes the tool feel like the ideal digital version of that system.

Cons

There's not much I dislike about this tool. If anything, a few ready-made templates would make it easier for new users to see everything the platform can really do. I ended up creating several card templates myself and I still use them regularly and share them with my co-workers.

clean collaboration that saves time

Pros

The layout is clean, visually appealing and simple to move through. It works well for teams spread across different countries and being able to add users to a project for free has made it really useful for collaborating with lots of subcontractors across several projects at once. The notifications are solid, comments on tasks or cards are helpful and the ability to customize label names and colors while moving things around quickly makes it even better. We really appreciate it for handling the simple stuff well.

Cons

Feels like a fairly two-dimensional tool so it is not especially dynamic when you need more structure. You cannot create multiple categories or different card types within a single board although you can make sublists inside a card. Once projects get bigger or more complex, it starts to feel less suitable. It also does not offer a Gantt chart or timeline view which makes it harder to get a clear high-level picture of when things are happening.

Amazing project visibility

Pros

Has turned into the organizational and planning tool I rely on the most. It's simple to work with and makes it much easier to stay on top of dozens of projects at once. It also supports collaboration with cross-functional groups and leadership teams really well. Everyone can clearly see what's in progress, who's involved and what has already been finished.

Cons

I'd just love to have more color options available when creating labels.

reliable boards for busy teams

Pros

I haven't run into any technical problems with it which is a big plus. The collaborative boards work really well for keeping everyone at work aligned and up to date. I also enjoy being able to customize card backgrounds, it adds a nice personal touch. The activity feed is useful too since I can usually track down the file I need by checking the most recently active cards. Because my organization works across a lot of different boards and cards, the filter and search tools have also been incredibly helpful.

Cons

Part I'm not very fond of is the visual layout. The interface feels a bit outdated and with so many cards stretched across in a horizontal row, I often have to do a lot of scrolling just to find the file I'm looking for.

boards fitting for teamwork

Pros

Using this software, you can set up boards with task lists and move cards from one list to another as the project moves forward. One of its biggest strengths is how accessible it feels right away and the free version covers the basic needs really well. Adding images, links and checklists to a card is simple and inviting teammates to collaborate on boards works nicely. Everyone on the team can quickly understand the current status of a project just by checking the boards. Another feature I really appreciate is the one free power-up included per board and the GitHub integration is especially useful for keeping track of progress during software development.

Cons

I feel like it lacks in task assignment and setting clear deadlines for team members especially compared with tools like Asana and similar project management platforms.

flexible cards

Pros

Creating tasks, editing them and dragging them around takes almost no effort. The keyboard shortcuts are thoughtfully designed and genuinely help speed up the workflow. Each card also has enough built-in features to fit very different ways of working, whether I want to make a checklist for subtasks, add attachments, use labels, leave comments and more. It's especially enjoyable when collaborating with a team: everything syncs quickly and reliably, I can watch updates happen in real time through the activity feed and jump in right away and it's possible to keep full conversations inside a card for future reference. One feature I particularly appreciate is being able to copy an image, like from a screenshot tool and paste it straight into a card. The tool recognizes it immediately and shows the image as a comment.

Cons

I struggle most with the board management area since it can be difficult at times to locate the specific boards I'm looking for. I assume there's a reason why cards can only be archived instead of deleted but I'd still prefer having the option to remove them completely.

Stay organized!

Pros

Works really well for anyone who wants to stay organized without dealing with the heavier, more formal workflow that comes with Jira. Compared with that, this software feels much more universal and ready to use right away. There is almost no learning curve and that is probably its biggest strength. The layout is accessible so it is rarely confusing to figure out how anything works. As a task management tool, it feels very organized and simple to handle. Keeping track of progress and documenting the different stages of a task is very easy. It is also surprisingly handy for drafting several versions of short copy, like UI text or call-to-action messages. On top of that, the software is excellent for collecting research in one place and following its progress as it moves across different boards. It also works well as a more elaborate place to dump links while browsing the web. As someone who writes a lot, I often run into material that does not fit neatly into any category but is still worth saving for later and this platform is perfect for that. It is creatively energizing too. A random collection of saved links can easily turn into the foundation for a collage-style piece of writing with unexpected directions.

Cons

An area where the tool really feels lacking is search. In its current form, it is usable but it feels outdated and not very effective especially when the search term is vague or open to interpretation. If you need to find something, it helps a lot if you already remember where you saved it because the search function is not always reliable enough to do the job on its own.

A lot of functionality

Pros

Even the free version offers a lot of useful functionality although after a while you do start wishing for more features and, of course, more Taco the Dog. The small touches really add a lot too, like custom board backgrounds and Taco stickers on tasks. They do not change task management itself but they make the whole experience more enjoyable and fun. Managing tasks, adding team members and using the rest of the features all feels accessible and the platform is very simple to navigate.

Cons

There is not much to complain about here besides wanting more Taco the Dog stickers:D On a more practical note, the only minor annoyance is that the tasks in the "done" column can start to pile up over time. Still, archiving them fixes that pretty quickly so it is not a major issue.

endless possibilities

Pros

The platform is incredibly easy to use. We've relied on it across three companies in a row, ranging from a Fortune 500 business to a startup and it's worked well in every setting. I've also brought it to people who had never touched this kind of software before and they picked it up fast. The amount you can do with it is honestly wild. Much like WordPress, it has a massive community behind it that keeps improving it and creating more advanced ways to manage projects, content production, work schedules and plenty more.

Cons

It can handle almost anything but right out of the box it doesn't include some of the interface touches that helped tools like Monday and Basecamp become so popular. That said, this tool still offers just as many features overall, if not more. I'd love to see deeper integration with other agency-focused project management workflows, ticketing platforms and time-tracking systems. Those connections may already be available but I haven't dug into that part yet.

Practical to have

Pros

When it's paired with a solid project management methodology like PMI, the platform becomes a really practical tool for organizing work. It helps define tasks, assign resources, track progress and compare what was planned against what was actually completed in an efficient way. Its user friendly design, customization options and properly structured boards make it feel adaptable, reliable and comfortable to use.

Cons

Since everything is handled through boards, its effectiveness can be questionable when dealing with very large-scale projects. On top of that, the cost tied to the tool feels expensive.
