fast updates

Pros

The software works well for different ways of managing work and updating cards is very easy. Changes show up quickly for everyone viewing the same board which helps keep the team aligned. The API integrations are also excellent, both directly and through Zapier.

Cons

The flexibility can sometimes make it harder to maintain the structure you want since there aren't many built-in restrictions. It also misses features such as WIP limits.

beautiful and reliable organizer

Pros

It handles pretty much all of my organization needs in one place. The interface is really simple to use and it also looks very nice which honestly makes using an organizational tool a lot more enjoyable for me.

Cons

The only possible issue is the limit on add-ons but honestly, I do not need that many because the core product already works really well on its own without them.

versatile boards for everything

Pros

From small personal to-dos to larger team workflows, this software has been incredibly flexible. It works like a really solid T-card system that can be set up however you need for just about any project. I can build custom cards, add checklists, links, attachments, due dates and assign tasks to other people without paying anything. Some projects only need a couple of cards while others deserve a full board with several collaborators and the app handles both without any trouble. I started using it with a team of interns so I could keep a clear view of what everyone was working on. It lets me assign projects and deadlines, attach the details they need and they can mark items ready for review which sends me a notification right away. On top of that, it helps them stay organized and communicate clearly with both teammates and supervisors. I've also used the platform for personal planning, from car maintenance and graduate school work to grocery lists. It really is a fantastic platform for everyday tasks as well as more layered program management. Another nice touch is the ability to customize the theme with tons of colors and photos which makes boards feel much less dull than the typical overly professional-looking tools.

Cons

The value is hard to argue with since the basic version is free. There is a paid upgrade with extra features but honestly I haven't had much reason to use it. The free plan already covers the functionality needed for most projects so paying for the upgraded version may not be necessary for people who assume they need it to get proper access or usability.

simple and reliable

Pros

This software has been a favorite of mine for years across all kinds of projects. The interface is very easy, moving cards around feels natural and getting started takes almost no effort. I also appreciate that it's free, including the option to try it without any commitment and being able to sign in with Google makes access even more convenient. There are a lot of things to praise here especially for personal use and smaller project work.

Cons

Because this tool keeps things so simple, it doesn't offer the more advanced or premium-style features that AGILE teams often need such as burn rate tracking or measuring how quickly cards are progressing. Those kinds of metrics matter much more in larger corporate settings than they do for personal projects or small teams. The paid plan doesn't really add much that appeals to me although that works out fine since the free version already covers what I need. It also lacks direct code integration like JIRA provides.

handy for ideas, limited for projects

Pros

The platform works really well for what it is: a simple, visual way to organise tasks quickly. It's accessible to use and the little UX touches make moving things around and updating items genuinely enjoyable. We end up using it a lot across the organisation whenever something needs pulling together fast. That said, we've never treated it as a full project management system. It's been most useful during the ideas and planning stage and then we usually shift everything into a more advanced PM tool once the work becomes more involved. The layout is clean, the free tier feels about right and there are enough features to get started without much setup. For quick organisational jobs, visual collaboration or sharing information in a kind of digital pinboard format, it does the job well and has definitely cut down on random post-it notes around the office.

Cons

At some stage, every project board seems to reach the point where you think "right, this needs to live somewhere else now." Managing tasks in depth becomes pretty boring especially since there's no meaningful way to track time, burndowns, productivity, velocity or the kinds of metrics a project manager would rely on to know whether work is actually progressing. It's just not designed for that level of project tracking and trying to force those workflows into the app usually ends up being frustrating. The free version also feels a little too light on features, with several things sitting behind the paywall which is understandable. The bigger issue is that the paid version still doesn't seem to offer quite enough extra value to really persuade us to buy licenses. In the end, the platform is very useful for short-term, simple tasks and idea sharing but once the work becomes more demanding and needs regular, detailed updates, it starts to fall short.

improved productivity

Pros

Using the platform to put our office Kanban process into practice has really helped improve productivity. We love how simple it is to organize cards and boards with drag and drop. Each card includes everything we need in one place such as a calendar, reminders, notes, assignments for specific people, timestamps and more. This software also introduced a newer "Wall" feature that works a bit like a Facebook wall making it much easier to see recent activity, upcoming deadlines and what has been happening across boards. That has been especially helpful when you're part of several project boards at once. Another big plus is the ability to share boards publicly, privately or with teams which makes it practical to collaborate with people outside the organization or with users whose identities you do not need to manage closely. It is also very convenient that the software can be used through a web browser, desktop apps for Windows and macOS and mobile apps on Android and iOS.

Cons

There does not seem to be a way to export task cards or boards into a spreadsheet or at least not in the free version as far as I know. It also does not support relationships or hierarchies between tasks and projects which may be a drawback for more advanced users.

clear tracking

Pros

The software is built to keep projects organized and moving efficiently. Collaboration updates happen in real time and whenever tasks get completed, the whole team is alerted through email and other push notifications. It's especially useful for visual learners like me who prefer seeing progress laid out clearly. The overall look fits my mostly student-based staff really well too, the colors, themes and graphics feel bright, relaxed and casual which helps make some of the more repetitive work feel less draining. In a setting where teamwork and collaboration are strongly encouraged, the software gives students a way to work together without duplicating effort or getting in each other's way. The biggest benefit is the built-in paper trail which makes it very simple to follow the progress of specific projects. There's much less confusion about what has and hasn't been finished. And on top of all that, it's free.

Cons

There's a small learning curve at the beginning, mainly when it comes to figuring out the best way to organize your own workflow and thoughts though that feels more related to our team's habits than to the software itself. Other than that, the notifications are useful but they can sometimes become a bit much for people who don't have much control over a particular project.

Amazing project management tool

Pros

Pretty much anyone can sign in and start using this software right away and that has been a huge help for us. We work with clients who are not very tech-savvy yet they are still able to handle the app without trouble. It really feels like Facebook blended with project management.

Cons

Once in a while, we run into a small annoying quirk but with so many integrations and add-ons available, it usually doesn't take much to work around whatever hurdle comes up.

positive experience

Pros

Right away, the platform feels very approachable because the interface is simple and easy. It doesn't take long for anyone to pick it up and feel comfortable using it. That clean layout helps teams stay focused on the actual work instead of getting distracted by a cluttered system. At the same time, features like comments, labels, due dates and similar tools add enough depth to handle more advanced projects without making the platform feel overly complicated.

Cons

An area where this tool could do more is in advanced automation. It would be helpful to have stronger options for building more complex workflows such as automatically triggering certain cards when others are completed. Still, those kinds of features fall more into the nice-to-have category rather than something essential. Only teams managing highly complex projects are likely to really need that level of automation.

Keeps my projects organized

Pros

This software has been part of my workflow for years. I relied on it while earning my degree and I still use it every day for work. As a freelance writer, staying organized and knowing exactly where each piece stands really matters. One thing that works especially well is how customizable the workflow is. I've set up tabs for writing, brainstorming, research, editing and a final submit stage which fits the way I work perfectly.

Cons

The mobile app feels a little underwhelming compared to the desktop version. I wish it were more accessible and simpler to navigate. As much as I value this software overall, it really works best for me on a computer.

free boards!!

Pros

Getting started doesn't cost anything and it's efficient to work with right away. The card-based setup for tasks and to-dos makes it simple to add, move and organize items across any list, project or board. It's cloud-based, works well on mobile and honestly feels like a must-have piece of software.

Cons

Reporting is still fairly limited and like a lot of time management and CRM tools, it would be much stronger for scheduling if the calendar database were built around the client profile as the main indexing field. With that in place, it could also become an excellent time management solution.

Helped my stay structured

Pros

One of the things I value most about this tool is how well it helps me organize my work teams and assign tasks in a clear, structured way. Because of that, every team member can actively share what they're working on, processes move faster and everyone can keep track of progress. I also use it as a personal planner so I always have my to-do list, important birthdays, account details and passwords within reach. Most importantly, it has helped me bring order to the development of my thesis. The labels and stickers are especially helpful for arranging everything visually and keeping my responsibilities well organized.

Cons

This is honestly one of my favorite tools but I would really appreciate the option to create sublists and see a more complete statistical progress report. It would also be very useful if the Android app could send an alarm or some kind of alert whenever a card reaches its due date.

excellent software

Pros

The software has been excellent for keeping my team connected and making sure projects stay on schedule. I use it every day and one of the best parts is how much you can customize the workflow to fit exactly what you need. Every board can be set up differently which makes it really useful for different types of projects. The free version works well for most people but the paid plan is something I really enjoy because it unlocks a lot of extra features.

Cons

The mobile app can be a little unreliable at times. It occasionally takes a while to sync with the desktop version and tagging other people there is not as easy as it should be.

works well across devices

Pros

One of the things I value most about this application is how well it helps keep an organized agenda of activities. Since it works on both computers and mobile devices, I can look up information and update it anytime which is especially useful when managing projects. It also makes it simple to share work and bring other people in as a team. From a project manager's perspective, it's a very practical tool and easy to use.

Cons

Something that could definitely be better is the way card archiving permissions are handled. I think there should be some type of restriction so only the people linked to that card and an administrator can archive it. I've had situations where cards were archived without any warning and there was no notification about it. It would help a lot if archiving triggered an alert or email the same way other actions on cards currently do.

Solid free plan

Pros

In just a few clicks, you can set up a board for pending tasks and assign due dates to keep everything on track. The part I appreciate most is how customizable each board is and the free version already includes a really solid set of features.

Cons

There is a lack of recurring task lists. If you have weekly tasks or things that need to be repeated on a certain day or at the start of every month, you have to recreate that task list manually every single time.

handy teamwork

Pros

This software works really well on both Android and iOS phones and tablets so I can get to it from pretty much anywhere. The visual layout is very clear which makes it simple to understand the status of tasks at a glance. I also appreciate that it runs in the browser so there is no need to download an app just to use it. The interface is very accessible making it quick for new users to jump in and start working. It lets you organize boards with columns like Pending, In Progress and Completed which keeps everything structured. The free version is also quite useful since it includes features like due dates, user assignments and labeled columns. On top of that, the platform supports team collaboration well, allowing tasks to be assigned to specific members. You can attach files or images to tasks which helps provide extra context and the activity panel on the side makes it easy to keep up with recent board updates.

Cons

It does not let you create recurring task lists for things that need to be repeated every week or at the start of each month. If someone has routine tasks on a regular schedule, they have to create a new list manually every single time.

For anyone who thinks visually

Pros

Anyone who thinks visually and enjoys whiteboards or sticky notes for brainstorming and organizing ideas will feel right at home with this tool. It's a very strong visual project management tool and the real-time collaboration works flawlessly. It's available across devices and stays synced everywhere which is really convenient. Security is excellent and the search functionality is effective as well.

Quite an easy tool

Pros

The software works for almost anything because the layout is so easy, with cards and columns that make organizing tasks feel natural.

Cons

Once a project becomes more complicated and needs a more advanced project management toolkit, this tool starts to fall short. It isn't really built for detailed, granular planning so it doesn't perform as well in that kind of setup.

reliable team tracking and alerts

Pros

Across several tech and software companies where I've worked, this tool has been a consistent part of the workflow. Everyone on the marketing team has their own account and we share cards to stay on top of tasks and ongoing activities. It's especially useful with larger teams because responsibilities and deadlines are laid out clearly for everyone. The notifications are also really helpful.

Cons

Honestly, I don't have any real complaints about this software. Our marketing team used it for years without running into problems. They also keep releasing new features and improvements which has made the overall experience even better. Like any platform, it can take some time for a team to get comfortable with how it works but it's worth sticking with. It does a good job of keeping projects from slipping through the cracks and makes it much easier to stay aligned on goals.

accessible task boards for teams

Pros

This software lays out my tasks in a clear, accessible way which makes it much easier for teams with different roles to see and understand exactly what they need to do. It was also simple to set up and it works especially well for a medium-sized team like mine where having an effective tool can really give us an edge over other teams. My whole team enjoys using the software and we genuinely like working with it.

Cons

It doesn't let users attach files larger than 250 MB. Whenever I need to send anything above that size, I have to rely on external storage instead.
