“clean boards”

Pros

The dashboard has a clean look and it makes browsing through different boards simple regardless of how they're organized or set up. We rely on it to stay in touch with student staff who work on another floor and outside normal business hours. It also helps us share updates with our campus foodservice vendor especially around food safety and student organization fundraisers. Checklists, task lists and new instructions are all very simple to pass along.

Cons

I do wish tasks could be connected to my Google Calendar or someone else's, as an added reminder. It would also be helpful if notifications could be made mandatory for users.

Pros

Our team relies heavily on this software to manage bug tracking and feature requests during development. Everything lives in one central place that the whole team can access which really helps keep communication clear. When a task gets assigned, notifications or alerts come straight to our email so staying on top of work is pretty easy. The user management and role-based access controls also help our team operate effectively.

Cons

Once the boards grow too large, keeping everything organized becomes a bit challenging and it can be difficult to follow the cards that matter most to you. The email notifications can also be somewhat inconsistent.

Pros

The customization is really useful for managing product workflows from beginning to end. Working remotely, that matters a lot because everyone on the team can quickly see what stage a project is at and what needs to happen next. It also helps me keep track of who is handling each task and when it's due. The color schemes and the option to change the background are a nice extra touch too.

Cons

Boards can start to feel a bit crowded or noisy although part of that may come down to how they're set up. A few actions, like adding or deleting a card, are not always as accessible as they should be.

Pros

Right from the start, this tool feels very simple to pick up and use. The whole layout is highly accessible and it works really well for keeping tasks, lists and even random thoughts organized. The colored tags make it possible to understand a board at a glance and I really appreciate that they added a feature for color-blind users so the colors are easier to tell apart. Boards can be shared and updated by multiple users at the same time which is very useful. Moving tasks between columns or even across boards is quick and easy and adding due dates is helpful too. One of my favorite features is that if you copy a list from anywhere and paste it into the software, it automatically converts it into a checklist. That stands out the most to me. The visual customization options are also a nice touch.

Cons

The platform may not be the best option for larger teams working on shared boards because it can start to feel a bit disorganized. It seems better suited to smaller teams or individual users.

“My recommendation!”

Pros

The software has been excellent to use. Its UI/UX is the standout for me because it feels clean, polished and very accessible. I also appreciate being able to manage both work-related projects and personal projects in one place while using the same profile for everything.

Cons

At the moment, I really don't have any complaints or concerns to mention. I'm happy with the product overall and would definitely recommend it to other people.

“I like the checklists”

Pros

Using the platform feels very easy because the interface is simple to follow and quick to get used to. The cards may look basic but they include the features you actually need for each task, like notes, attachments, comments and other useful details. The drag and drop function works really well and gives it the feel of a traditional board, only much more efficient. One of the strongest parts of the system is the checklist feature, along with the ability to assign members to a specific board. Deadlines and notifications are also very helpful for keeping track of tasks within a board.

Cons

My only suggestion for the app team would be to add more visual tools such as Gantt charts, calendars and graphs.

“Definitely worth it!”

Pros

This software is very easy to use and the free version is definitely worth trying to get a feel for how everything works. It's highly visual which makes managing work much clearer and it really helped set the standard for task board software. It's also flexible, with plenty of features that can be customized and adjusted as needed.

Cons

Like most task management tools, the complexity shows up in the details. Once you start building out tasks with lots of attributes and deeper setup options, it can become a little complicated. It also feels expensive for startup teams because you quickly notice that the paid version is where a lot of the value is and the cost starts adding up fast for a small team.

“Quick setup”

Pros

From the first use, this tool felt very easy. It's quick to learn, gives you a clear view of what's happening and what still needs to be done and overall works as an excellent project management tool. Even though it doesn't include as many features as something like Jira, I still prefer it because it's much simpler to use.

Cons

There really isn't much for me to criticize about the software. The product offers the right amount of features and the usability is excellent so I honestly don't have any real complaints.

Pros

This tool keeps things simple and very user friendly. It's easy to work with and doesn't feel complicated at all. I also really enjoy being able to change the background image on the boards which adds a nice personal touch.

Cons

I haven't come across anything I dislike about it. I use it every day to keep my schedule organized and it's been a genuinely useful tool. At this point, there's really nothing for me to complain about.

Pros

The software is a project and task management tool and it handles both in a really approachable way. Whether it's for personal to-do lists or a large team project, it fits naturally. That's where it shines. Even complicated projects start to feel manageable and that makes a big difference. Staying organized is everything and this tool gives you a clear way to keep all your tasks and responsibilities neatly in order.

Cons

Nothing major comes to mind as a downside although the UX around how lists are displayed could probably be improved especially on the desktop version. Still, that may just be me being a bit too particular.

“fantastic customization”

Pros

The software's Kanban boards are one of my favorite parts and managing them feels very easy. The customization options are excellent too since we can add our own colors and logo to different projects. I also appreciate being able to prioritize work, set task deadlines, handle multiple projects in one place and use the many other features this software offers.

Cons

Something that would make it even better is having a Gantt chart view or at least a calendar view that shows all tasks. Aside from that, I really don't have any complaints.

Creating boards to keep projects organized is very easy and the lists inside each board are simple to manage. There's also a lot of control over the details, from fonts and styling to images and sharing settings so you can customize things the way you want.

Cons

The search function could definitely be stronger. Once you're working with several boards and lots of lists inside them, it really needs a more powerful search feature to make finding things faster.

Pros

Getting started with this tool takes almost no effort and even someone who usually struggles with tech can be using it within seconds. Another big plus is that it doesn't force you into one fixed method so it adapts really well to the way your team or workflow already operates.

Cons

The app works really well for most projects but it may not be the best fit for larger-scale ones involving multiple teams, different roles or a need for more advanced reporting features.

“useful integrations”

Pros

I've been using this software for years, including before Atlassian acquired it and it has consistently felt like a polished product. It's very simple to work with: you set up a board by defining columns or lists for each stage in a process, then add cards as needed. Moving cards from one step to the next is just drag and drop and adding comments or extra details is easy. It also connects with plenty of other tools like Slack, Jira and more. On top of that, being free makes it even better.

Cons

Biggest limitation in my view, is the permissions setup. It would be really helpful to add someone to a board with view-only access. For example, at my company, another team relies on the output of a process managed by my team. I'd like to let them see the board so they know what's coming next, without giving broader access. Right now, that doesn't seem to be an option.

Pros

Among project management tools, the platform is one of the best I've used for organizing, simplifying and streamlining work. It covers so many useful functions that it's honestly hard to explain everything it can do in a quick description. Managing tasks and projects in a practical, structured way feels very natural with it and the collaboration features, checklists, deadlines and other tracking options make it much easier to keep everything fully under control. The flexibility is a huge plus too especially with cards, lists and labels that can be adjusted in lots of ways. On top of that, the Power-Ups let you connect this tool with other apps which adds even more depth to planning and oversight. That means less wasted time dealing with common project issues like scope creep, duplicated effort and endless back-and-forth conversations and more time actually getting things done. It's also clearly well maintained by the developers. The steady improvements keep it evolving in a very positive way and for both businesses and individuals who want to improve workflow and productivity, it's an incredibly valuable tool. At this point, it's my favorite software application of all time.

Cons

There are only a few very minor things I could even call drawbacks and none of them are serious or anything that gets in the way. One example my team and I have mentioned is that it would be helpful to see a card count displayed at the top of each list or column on a board. Not having that isn't really a flaw but adding it would make this tool even more useful than it already is. That's about the closest thing to a con I can come up with.

Pros

Using the software feels a lot like working with a virtual sticky note board which is exactly the appeal. It's easy, very simple to use and skips the confusing charts or spreadsheets. Everything is laid out in clear note tiles so it's quick to see what's going on.

Cons

My only real complaint is that the "power-ups" cost extra. I wish more of those features were built in so I could get even more out of this software. Still, I use it every day and honestly there aren't many downsides.

“Nails task management!”

Pros

This platform keeps things focused instead of trying to do everything at once and that's exactly why it works so well. It really excels at simple, easy task management. Our smaller teams use it for project management across the company and after testing plenty of other options, the platform ended up being the one that fits us best.

Cons

The card-based layout can feel a bit confusing when you first start using it. After a little time with it though, the workflow becomes pretty clear. The iPhone app also isn't the strongest part of the platform and I definitely prefer using the web version.

“We love it!”

Pros

Right from the start, this tool was incredibly simple to use. It has been fantastic for getting a clear view of how different teams and projects are moving along. Before we started using the software, I had to keep checking in with the team all the time for updates. Now it's much easier to see exactly where everything stands. We also use it to manage our development team and it has worked out really well. Honestly, we're big fans of the product.

Cons

We really don't have any complaints about it. The interface is very easy as well. Huge thanks to the software for putting out such a solid product.

“Generous free plan”

Pros

Whether it's planning projects, keeping life organized, tracking meals to try or managing anything else that needs structure, this software handles it really well. The interface is easy so new users can get started quickly with almost no setup time and usually don't need any training from me. People tend to enjoy using it enough that they naturally explore the other features on their own. It's also a big plus that the app offers such a full-featured free version.

Cons

A few tasks take more time than they really should. One example is labels, I still haven't found a particularly fast way to update them. If I add a label and then later decide I want to change what the whole labeling system means, I have to open each card one by one to remove the old labels and apply new ones. That ends up being more time-consuming than I'd prefer.

Pros

Across our company, the platform has become a really valuable tool because different departments can share it without much trouble and team members get notifications whenever a task moves forward. We use it for much more than just managing tasks too. It also helps us organize and share information by category and we've set up quick-access tabs that employees can use as handy reference points.

Cons

Getting started can be a bit confusing when you're brand new to it especially if your company already has lots of tasks and tabs built out. That said, this tool's help documentation is excellent and makes the learning curve much easier to handle.
