Pros

The sales process proved effortless, offering an immediate demo site for testing without the need for time-consuming sales presentations and the aggressive tactics seen in other platforms. The interface is modern and user-friendly, a notable contrast to many alternatives. Clearly crafted by volunteer managers, the developer's deep involvement in a substantial volunteer organization is evident in the thoughtful design. Custom fields, events, onboarding, and more are seamlessly incorporated, and the pricing is reasonable, allowing for a trouble-free start. There's no daunting learning curve; it's ready out of the box, making it accessible to anyone familiar with service platforms.

Cons

Some minor compromises are necessary, possibly reflecting the developers' approach to managing their own volunteer processes. The inability to manually add volunteers is noted; they must register themselves. The import tool requires some refinement, and user profiles lack clarity, as the extended user profile is treated as a "task" rather than an extended user profile. The absence of Zapier and other minor adjustments require getting used to.

Pros

The activities console, where I spend the majority of my time as an events admin, stands out as the best feature. Additionally, the reporting function, often underutilized but critically important, requires internal promotion for increased use.

Cons

Engaging volunteers proves challenging as a communication tool. While the bulletin serves its purpose, it feels somewhat clunky, and the absence of push notifications makes relying on this platform as the primary means of engagement for our volunteers somewhat challenging.

Great product and great service
Pros

The rollout was exceptionally smooth, encountering no major issues apart from volunteers needing time to become familiar with it. The customer support and technical assistance have been outstanding.

Cons

While there are items on the wish list, Volaby is actively considering their implementation.
