Custom fields, events, onboarding, and more are seamlessly incorporated, and the pricing is reasonable, allowing for a trouble-free start. There's no daunting learning curve; it's ready out of the box, making it accessible to anyone familiar with service platforms.
Cons
Some minor compromises are necessary, possibly reflecting the developers' approach to managing their own volunteer processes. The inability to manually add volunteers is noted; they must register themselves. The activities console, where I spend the majority of my time as an events admin, stands out as the best feature. Additionally, the reporting function, often underutilized but critically important, requires internal promotion for increased use.
Cons
Engaging volunteers proves challenging as a communication tool. While the bulletin serves its purpose, it feels somewhat clunky, and the absence of push notifications makes relying on this platform as the primary means of engagement for our volunteers somewhat challenging.
