Good but not great

Pros

Wrike boasts a user-friendly layout and provides easy user management capabilities.

Cons

The storage capacity provided for the price is very low. We constantly struggle to stay under the 50 GB limit and have to delete a significant amount of data every month. Setting up time-based notifications seems to be non-existent. The documentation is relatively poor and templates cannot be easily downloaded and used.

Wrike is just okay

Pros

The level of customization in Wrike allows for consolidated and versatile functionality.

Cons

The usability of the platform can be challenging with several peculiarities that can be frustrating. For instance only one email in a thread can be converted into a task which undermines the purpose of the email add-in feature.

Good PM Tool But I Wish There Was More

Pros

The diverse range of views (Gantt table list calendar dashboard) in Wrike caters to different thinking styles making it a favorite among users. It also offers bi-location capabilities custom fields and blueprints all of which enhance reporting and save time.

Cons

There are limitations when it comes to sorting tasks particularly in marketing where sorting by due date is crucial due to the dynamic nature of the work. Form creation could benefit from the inclusion of logic and while automation is a powerful feature implementing it successfully across teams can be challenging.

Great but Expensive for Nonprofits

Pros

Wrike proves to be an excellent tool for managing marketing projects within a marketing team.

Cons

The cost of Wrike can be a challenge for nonprofits. Our accountant doesn't fully appreciate the amount we spend on this software but it remains a necessary tool for our marketing team to effectively carry out our work.

Wrike is my 3nd Brain

Pros

What sets Wrike apart is its exceptional collaboration features that foster seamless teamwork among different teams. Personally I consider Wrike as my second brain because it serves as a reliable repository where I can input and store information ensuring it is documented and easily accessible to the entire team. This allows me to focus on important in-person activities knowing that the crucial information is safely stored and available for everyone to observe and act upon. I'm particularly interested in exploring Wrike's time tracking capabilities to further enhance our project management processes.

Cons

Any drawbacks I've experienced are primarily due to my limited understanding of the platform's full capabilities.

Wrike for Tribal Health Communication Team

Pros

Wrike facilitates collaboration among different disciplines in the project/design cycle acting as a centralized location for email communications media drafts edits and creative briefs. The platform's interoperative reports help evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) and year-end data.

Cons

It would be beneficial to have a more streamlined integration of specific values within "forms" allowing for the generation of custom data in reports. Additionally the ability to customize automated emails after "form" submissions that inform users about assigned tasks or projects would be valuable. Furthermore introducing more features that facilitate enhanced communication with clients would greatly enhance the overall functionality of the platform.

Very simple task management tool

Pros

As the manager of a Marketing Operations team responsible for executing campaigns and critical messaging in a large enterprise organization Wrike is a vital tool for managing incoming requests. The intake forms feature allows for centralized task creation making it easy to assign tasks to individuals on my team. This streamlined process significantly contributes to our efficiency and effectiveness in meeting our objectives.

Cons

The folder structure within Wrike has presented unforeseen challenges for us impacting our workflow in ways we hadn't anticipated. While assigning tasks to folders can be helpful for organizing related tasks it becomes cumbersome when we need to share a specific task with someone. In order to grant access to a single task we are required to share the entire folder which isn't always ideal. Similarly when generating reports we must carefully select the appropriate folders to include making it easy to overlook important ones. Plus it's difficult to ensure that all tasks are in the correct folders. To simplify these processes it would be more convenient if Wrike transitioned away from the folder system and instead allowed the use of tags. Additionally the current automation capabilities have limitations. For instance we're unable to create an automation that says "whenever an event task (X) is created via a form with a due date (Y) generate a subtask due date (Y-10 days)." Instead we have to manually input due dates for all subtasks which can be quite frustrating. Furthermore automations involving custom fields are not supported. Addressing these concerns would greatly improve the usability and efficiency of the platform.

Wrike for the Win

Pros

Wrike is an indispensable tool for our team enabling us to effectively handle our consistently demanding workload. While our existing system serves our daily needs Wrike offers the flexibility to easily update processes through blueprints and custom items ensuring smooth operations and adaptability.

Cons

We frequently encounter specific areas where we believe Wrike could enhance our daily usage. An example of this is the Gannt Chart view where we would greatly benefit from having subtasks connected to milestone tasks. This would enable us to easily adjust the milestone task date automatically recalculating the dates for the associated subtasks. Currently this process is manual and time-consuming for us.

Wrike Review - h creates inc.

Pros

Wrike is user-friendly and offers a range of functions that can improve organization and productivity when fully utilized. The customer service is excellent and provides valuable assistance. Using Wrike saves time by keeping projects organized and consolidating project-related information.

Cons

We have encountered some challenges in determining the best approach for our team to utilize the software which has involved a considerable amount of trial and error. In certain cases we have had to find workarounds to achieve our desired outcomes due to limitations in our plan's features. Additionally the requirement of a minimum of five seats has resulted in increased costs even though our team doesn't require that many.
