Easy to create tasks

Pros

Creating tasks is simple and I can assign them to a project or a collaborator, track the time spent on each task and monitor the workload.

Cons

I find it hard to use this for tracking project costs and it lacks solid overall project planning features (versus tools built around development task planning, for example).

appreciate the flexible viewing options

Pros

I really appreciate the flexible viewing options and the comment tools, they let my team clearly spot what work is pending or what needs improvement.

Cons

The user interface could use improvement. When I'm new to it I can easily get lost moving between projects, tasks and folders.

Amazing cloud-based platform

Pros

I've found this to be a fantastic cloud-based platform that makes keeping an eye on projects very simple. Besides that, it's highly adaptable. I can set up custom workflows, collect input from users with forms I design and view my information in lots of ways like dashboards, widgets and Gantt charts. It also lets me work with my team in real time, sharing media, documents and more without any fuss.

Cons

One thing I would really like to see is the ability to print Gantt charts together with task details, similar to how Microsoft Project does it because that format would make reporting and offline review much easier for my team.

Connects smoothly with other services

Pros

This program makes it easy to consolidate workloads across team members. It's helped a lot with deciding what tasks need doing first and mapping out realistic timelines to complete whole projects. I also appreciate how smoothly it connects with other services. I regularly link it to Google, Word and Excel and the integration is simple and reliable.

Cons

I find it to be strong software and the subscription costs feel fair considering everything included. Beyond the pricing, I value the platform's ability to let me build solid management plans, that capability alone makes it worth the investment in my view.

Integrates well with Slack

Pros

I rely on it daily to organize every task I have. We've linked it with our Slack and what I love most is being able to post instant updates about my tasks to the whole team right within Slack. As someone who works remotely, this helps me stay proactively open about my workload and keeps everyone in the loop.

Cons

The platform's flexibility is a double-edged sword because it sometimes needs a fair bit of guidance to get the most out of it. It took some time for me to learn recommended approaches and to figure out the ideal way to set it up for our workflows so there's a bit of a learning curve.

Lovely set of features

Pros

One of the things I appreciate most about it is its toolkit, it offers so many features that help me handle project management organize tasks and keep everything on track.

Cons

Its a bit intimidating at first because it's not particularly user-friendly or easy to pick up and understanding how everything works takes some time but eventually I adapted and it became much more manageable.

impressive features :)))

Pros

What I appreciate most about it are the wide range of features it offers. I find it to be a highly efficient and well-organized application.

Cons

To be honest I sometimes struggle with it because certain parts feel a bit complex and I wish the interface were more user-friendly overall.

Simple interface

Pros

The interface is really simple to handle and I can easily share work with others while assigning responsibilities for each task and using approval workflows.

Cons

I'd like the system to offer stronger features for defining task dependencies and prerequisites, automatically calculate critical paths and resource allocation and send automated reminders before approaching due dates.

Saved us a lot of effort!

Pros

I've relied on Wrike's blueprints to map out project workflows and then reuse them to kick off new initiatives without having to recreate everything each time. For our sizable department, where multiple teams collaborate on different projects, this has been incredibly useful and saved us a ton of repeated effort.

Cons

One thing I struggle with is that, like many powerful platforms, Wrike offers multiple routes to reach the same outcome. Although that flexibility lets each person discover a workflow that suits them, it can feel pretty overwhelming when I'm trying to figure out which approach is actually the quickest or most effective.

Lets me assign tasks to my team

Pros

As the marketing manager, this tool lets me hand out tasks to my team and keep track of how everything is progressing. The workflow features are fantastic, I can configure approval paths to match our process. It's simple to review creatives and leave change requests right inside the platform and our designers rely on the InDesign plugin. I can log everything the team works on, from large campaigns down to minor tasks. I also create reusable blueprints for recurring initiatives which cuts down on the effort required to spin up a new project. A desktop application makes it convenient to monitor outstanding requests. We set up a marketing intake form for other departments to request new collateral, business cards, email builds and more and that form routes and automatically assigns each request to the correct person on our team.

Cons

There's definitely a learning curve when getting started with the app. It took me some time to figure out the best way to view and organize to-do lists. I've discovered custom dashboards work a lot better for our team but they still feel a bit rough around the edges and could benefit from further development.

Feels natural

Pros

I find it to be extremely user-friendly and I was surprised at how quickly I learned to use the interface and collaborate with teammates on virtually any task or project I set up. Whether someone is less tech-savvy or more advanced, I feel it strikes a good balance, it's flexible, very user-friendly and I can easily make sense of all the features available.

Cons

One thing I wish weren't so limited is the ability to customize the look and feel of each calendar I create to track upcoming project due dates the team is working on. I would really like more control over colors, layouts and visual cues so it's easier to scan deadlines at a glance.

I like the task area

Pros

One thing I really like is its task area because I can instantly view the 'new', 'in progress' and 'completed' sections for the project I'm actively working on, keeping everything neatly organized for me.

Cons

Although I appreciate the simple layout, I find that it can limit my ability to execute more advanced tasks, forcing me to rely on other software tools to finish those complex functions that it doesn't support.

Easy to track progress

Pros

I find the platform really simple and it structures tasks and projects in an amazingly logical way. Everyone I collaborate with here stays productive and actually uses the tool as intended so I never worry about our team's output because Wrike makes communicating and collaborating especially when we're remote so simple for us. It's easy to keep tabs on progress and delegate responsibilities.

Cons

At first the UI/UX felt intimidating and in my experience people tend to be either big fans or strong critics of Wrike, convincing someone who dislikes it to switch is a tall order, even when it's required for business because the interface has a learning curve and parts of how the platform works aren't very transparent. I totally get it. the layout isn't especially attractive and the pages can be text-heavy which makes the whole thing feel overwhelming. Once you know where to look though, you can ignore the clutter and zero in on the features that actually get work done quickly.

Meets project management needs

Pros

I'm still getting familiar with the software and learning how everything works but it appears to meet project management needs for many people working on different operating systems. I appreciate that the individual categories are shown on the left for tidy access and it's helpful to be able to view tasks arranged along a progress continuum.

Cons

Even though it comes with all the bells and whistles, I'm still struggling to get a holistic view of an entire project and I can't quite tell the difference between the ribbon features (dashboards, My To-do, Calendars, etc.) and the projects listed in the left-hand bar. I need to carve out time to really learn this tool because my start-up teammates rave about it and rely on it every day to juggle their many, varied projects.

Looks polished

Pros

I've found the app very well organized and the program really nails the UI/UX. Visually it's clean, contemporary and looks polished and modern across screens.

Cons

The notification system becomes really overwhelming and the settings are too limited, they don't let me choose how often I get alerts or prioritize them by importance. Right now control seems to be more in the hands of whoever created the notification or the team members but I'd much prefer to be able to manage frequency and importance as the recipient rather than having it dictated by the sender.

Lack of reporting options

Pros

The interface is pretty simple and the filtering features are really handy, they make running reports quick and easy.

Cons

One downside I've run into is the lack of comprehensive reporting options and you can't generate cross-folder reports. I often have to click through each folder to check my to-do lists and there are times when a consolidated dashboard would be so helpful to view everything at a glance for a week, a month, six months or even a year across all folders for planning.

Keeps everyone accountable

Pros

Lets me build an organizational structure that I can split by teams, projects or any other criteria that match my objectives. Within those divisions I'm able to expand into subcategories which I then share with the people involved in the related tasks. That setup creates transparency between employees and managers and helps hold everyone accountable for completing their work efficiently.

Cons

At first, using it felt overwhelming and a bit cluttered and I ended up feeling like it was piling extra tasks onto the workload I was already juggling. The platform promises a framework designed to make time use more efficient and boost productivity but getting comfortable with all of the features can feel like a bump in the road toward that longer-term aim.

Easy to submit photos for CAD

Pros

Submitting photos for CAD is really simple and smooth, the whole process feels organized. The feedback I get stays consistent as I advance a project and I usually don't wait long before my finalized CAD design gets returned to me.

Cons

Occasionally I experience lengthy delays when I have to resubmit which can be frustrating.

Gives a clear view of projects

Pros

Our team uses it through its web-based interface and it really helps everyone get a clear view of the projects and tasks we're juggling right now.

Cons

I find the interface pretty clunky. Almost every action requires multiple clicks and the different views aren't user-friendly which makes it tough for our colleagues to actually adopt the tool. Ordinary users get frustrated because it feels overly complicated. On top of that, our experience with customer support has been disappointing, we raised a billing issue and it has dragged on for five months with no satisfactory resolution. I've also noticed that feature requests in the community, including the simple but essential ability to convert a task into a project, seem to be ignored. People post about it daily and the product team rarely, if ever, responds. Finally, while the iOS app has gotten better, it still falls short of what I expect.
