Not hard to be up and running

Pros

One of Wrike's standout strengths is its very user-friendly interface. Before long I'm up and running, managing projects and delegating tasks without wasting any valuable time or getting bogged down.

Cons

On the other hand I find user management in Wrike somewhat clunky. When someone leaves the company it should be much easier for me to deactivate their account without jumping through hoops.

appreciate the scheduling features

Pros

I really appreciate the scheduling features in this tool and when I have a sufficient number of teammates on the platform it becomes simple to oversee projects and stay in touch.

Cons

Honestly I don't really have any real complaints. I actually love the desktop app as well, it's a nice little addition.

Timesheets view gives an idea of the hours spent

Pros

I can quickly set up tasks that can be assigned to people and keep them neatly organized in team folders. The timesheets view is my go-to. It gives me a fast snapshot of how many hours I've totaled on a single task during a week.

Cons

Sometimes I notice there are several different methods to create a task and to assign a colleague. I don't think that's inherently a problem.

Uncomplicated free version

Pros

For teams that don't want something overly complex, the free version works well for us and because it's cloud-based, I've found it very simple to use.

Cons

When you need to upgrade to a larger plan, the per-user, per-year pricing can feel quite expensive if your organization has a lot of users. There are some on-premise alternatives that offer better pricing but they demand you handle hosting and maintenance yourself so it's really a trade-off.

Top-notch pM platform

Pros

I've found it to be an excellent project management platform especially in settings where collaboration among many people, including across different departments, is part of the workflow.

Cons

When it comes to repetitive tasks, it isn't the best choice. It tends to make routine processes more complicated and ends up wasting time.

Handles multiple people well

Pros

It makes collaborating on projects incredibly simple. I've noticed that when several people are editing a post description at once it manages conflict beautifully. I can actually tell who's typing, see their cursor position and follow changes live in real time. Looking up current or older posts is fast and reliable and having the comment history available is genuinely useful. I also appreciate the short grace period to tweak a comment right after posting if I send it too quickly which lets me fix those last-minute mistakes before anyone catches them. On top of that, being able to create sub-tasks on a post instantly is something I rely on to break large projects into manageable pieces.

Cons

I wish there were more formatting options for comments and descriptions instead of just the basic bulleted list. Having richer editing features would make composing clearer, more structured updates much easier and give me more control over how I present information.

Outperforms all competitors

Pros

I'm really impressed by how flexible and insanely fast the interface is. For managing projects, nothing beats how quickly I can toggle folders and open projects from that left-hand column and in my experience it outperforms pretty much every other PM tool I've tried.

Cons

We found it to be quite pricey. During discussions we were given a hefty quote to cover the onboarding process and while I understand that you often get what you pay for, this isn't the kind of free or low-cost setup you can grab with tools like Zoho or Trello.

projects split by team and client

Pros

One thing I really like is the option to split projects by team and by client and having those folders persistently displayed on the left makes it easy to use. I also find it simple to tag teammates on projects and being able to mute the notifications from any given project is a welcome feature that helps reduce clutter in my inbox.

Cons

I ran into problems logging in to see projects when I opened them via an email alert which was annoying. On top of that, several timeline layouts felt overcrowded and hard to parse. Also, I think the cost is on the higher side which makes it a tougher sell for me or my team.

Great way to share marketing projects

Pros

We needed a way to share marketing projects across larger teams and Wrike made it simple and fast for us to do that.

Cons

Wouldn't say it's a problem with Wrike itself but I believe having solid internal processes is essential to fully leverage what it offers.

engaging interface

Pros

This ranks among the most effective project management tools available. I find it very easy to operate. The graphical user interface is welcoming and engaging enough to keep me focused consistently. It makes monitoring every task simple, letting me track activities in smart, user-friendly ways without extra effort.

Cons

Haven't run into any real issues with this impressive project management solution. My experience has been uniformly positive and I can't point to any negatives. Everything has worked smoothly for me and there hasn't been anything I would call a drawback or a problem worth mentioning.

Steep learning curve

Pros

I rely on it because it's such a versatile teamwork tool. It includes features that make it indispensable and virtually irreplaceable for getting my work done efficiently. It gives me core project-management capabilities from workflow and project planning to resource allocation and scheduling, among other things. And on top of that it supports cross-disciplinary team collaboration. Knowing I have a platform that simplifies my tasks and brings together different specialists makes me feel confident and certain that I have an effective solution to reach the level of productivity I aim for.

Cons

It was quite complicated for me at first especially since I'm not used to managing projects so I find the learning curve to be steep. Also, I think the user interface isn't very user-friendly which means people, including myself, have to put in extra effort to navigate the system smoothly and get comfortable using it.

Lets us create forms

Pros

One thing I really appreciate is that we can build forms to collect marketing requests and when someone submits one the form automatically emails them to explain what will happen next. I also find it useful for flagging high-priority projects and being able to track how those tasks are moving along in real time.

Cons

Sometimes I wish the forms could automatically build a centralized database so the responses could be uploaded quickly into a tracking system. That way I could manage and analyze all of the submitted information without extra manual steps.

effective for teamwork

Pros

I really appreciate that it brings team communication and collaboration into a single place so we can work more efficiently. It's simple to use and I enjoy being able to view the specifics of all active projects on a single overview page. I also find the Activity Stream helpful because it gives me a high-level snapshot while letting me handle smaller tasks directly.

Cons

There really isn't anything negative to point out, it seems to deliver well beyond what a typical team would need for effective collaboration and teamwork.

Improves productivity

Pros

It has become one of my go-to tools for managing most of the projects and tasks I'm assigned. It provides a solid set of features that make it simple for me to monitor overall project progress. Beyond that, scheduling tasks is simple and I often collaborate with colleagues directly on specific items. Using it helps me stay organized on the job and noticeably boosts my productivity when I'm working in the field.

Cons

Although it includes the features needed to support my work on projects, I've run into a few minor problems while using it. For longer-term initiatives the tracking function can lag noticeably which saps my motivation to keep monitoring progress and follow up consistently. The platform generally supports each stage of a project but intermittent connectivity problems have sometimes reduced my ability to collaborate effectively with teammates and have dampened the team's momentum.

Has tools essential for collaboration

Pros

I really like this software because it provides the essential tools I need to manage and collaborate on projects effectively. It's simple to get started thanks to a fast configuration and nothing overly complicated so I didn't have to invest a lot of time in long training sessions. The interface is highly customizable and I can change colors to my favorites so the workspace feels more unique and tailored to my taste. Its layout is organized into panels which I find much more comfortable and user-friendly because each panel focuses on different functions like task details, the calendar and reports. That structure makes administering the workflow much easier in my experience. Tasks can be assigned to one or several people which helps speed up progress and keeps responsibilities clear. Overall this setup noticeably accelerates the way my team handles work and reduces friction in day-to-day project tasks.

Cons

Only downside I see is the fairly high cost. That pricing can make access limited because not every company has the budget to make that kind of investment so smaller teams or tight-budget organizations might be excluded from using it.

Pros

At first the timeline looked visually appealing to me but as I used it more it turned out to be quite glitchy and generally unreliable.

Cons

I found the overall solution to be buggy and the UI felt inconsistent and there were problems with data handling. I could even see another entity's data by mistake.

Solid feature set

Pros

For our company, it's got the flexibility and feature set to accommodate a wide range of business workflows. Since our workflow is fairly complicated, I found Wrike provides all the functionality we require.

Cons

We also found it's not very user-friendly so we needed a substantial implementation period guided by their team members and that hands-on setup is typically a paid service they provide.
