“part of my daily routine”
Pros
This software has become such a regular part of my day that I use the name the same way people say "Google" when they mean searching for something. I'm on it every single day for video calls and it's very easy to use and just as simple to teach to someone who's never touched it before. The features I rely on constantly are screen sharing, file sharing, collaboration tools, recording and meeting tracking. All of that works reliably and consistently, without random issues or failures. Honestly, that kind of dependability is exactly what I need from a video conferencing platform.
Cons
On my 2017 MacBook Air, I still can't use a virtual background unless I have a green screen. That feels strange because my laptop isn't that old especially since other video conferencing apps let me use backgrounds without that requirement. Another limitation is the 40-minute cap on free meetings. It doesn't affect me personally because I use the enterprise version but I can definitely see it being a problem for students or nonprofit organizations that depend on the free plan.

“better meeting control”
Pros
Using this product has made a real difference. It gives you a strong sense of control over participants which helps a lot when managing meetings, classes or webinars. It also integrates into a business setup without much trouble.
Cons
It can become quite unstable especially when the internet connection is weak.

“simple meetings, security concerns”
Pros
Getting into a video meeting is pretty easy which shows in how many people who usually struggle with software can still join without much trouble. Of course, those same people still don't always manage to mute themselves! :)
Cons
My biggest issue is the company's lack of integrity especially in how it misrepresented its security and safety. They didn't seem to take meaningful action on those security gaps until the risk of losing market share became real.

“my recommendation”
Pros
One thing that really works well with this application is how fast it is. It's simple to use, free and accessible to everyone which makes it a very practical choice. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone who doesn't want to waste time and just wants something that works.
Cons
There really aren't many downsides to this application. If anything, future updates could make it even better and improve it further.

“trusted video conferencing leader”
Pros
As one of the early leaders in video calling and conferencing, the software has had years to strengthen the platform's stability and security while responding to user concerns and feedback. Pretty much everyone I know uses this software so it has already become a top-of-mind brand. That also comes with a responsibility for the company to keep it secure, updated and ready to adapt to changing needs.
Cons
Meeting fatigue is definitely a real thing, mostly because so many of our meetings happen on the platform. Part of that also comes from the interface. It works well, feels organized and has a very minimal look but using it over and over can make the visual design feel a bit repetitive after a while. Having more UI skin or theme options would be a nice addition. Still, that doesn't really take away from how well it does what it's meant to do.

“remote work essentials”
Pros
Screen sharing, remote control of participants' screens, live chat and meeting recordings have all been incredibly helpful for working remotely.
Cons
There's honestly not much missing from the platform for me. The only thing I'd like is the option to have multiple personal meeting IDs although that may already be available on a different plan.

“outlook integration and recording perks”
Pros
Scheduling meetings is really convenient thanks to the Outlook integration and plugin. With the Pro version, being able to record sessions either to my hard drive or to the cloud is also a big plus.
Cons
It could use more practical controls for creating sub-groups or private groups. I also think multiple screen sharing should come as a default feature.

“helpful for court and groups”
Pros
Lately, I've been using this software for all kinds of things, from court appearances to men's groups and catching up with friends. It's really convenient not having to leave the house for any of it and that has made a big difference for me.
Cons
After being on camera for about an hour, it sometimes shuts off by itself. Still it's pretty simple to log back in and rejoin the meeting.

“so useful”
Pros
The software has been a really useful app for me and my team when it comes to working together online. It saves a lot of time because it removes the usual barriers of distance and time zones which has helped me get my work done more effectively. It also feels especially relevant now that online classes are so common since many teachers and students rely on it as their virtual learning space and that says a lot about how valuable the platform has become.
Cons
It can be confusing how different the mobile and desktop versions are especially since some features available on desktop are missing on mobile. There are also times when my face or voice gets distorted if my internet becomes unstable, even though my connection is usually strong and that can lead to misunderstandings during meetings. On top of that, the app sometimes disconnects on its own and getting reconnected can take longer than it should.

“packed with useful meeting tools”
Pros
Screen sharing, virtual backgrounds, video conference recording, emojis and plenty of other features make this platform really enjoyable to use.
Cons
I'd really love to see a spin-the-wheel option since there are times when we need a simple way to decide who was first. It would also be helpful to have a survey tool where people can submit answers live especially to identify whoever clicked first.

“Try it out!”
Pros
Working from home has made this the ideal software for staying in touch with people so I'd definitely recommend using it without hesitation.
Cons
The free version works really well but if you need extra video chat tools for students or longer meeting time, you have to upgrade and the pricing feels a bit high.

“handy recording”
Pros
Across internal meetings and conference sessions, I haven't had a single call drop which has made the platform very dependable. Screen sharing takes almost no effort and scheduling new meetings is easy as well. The recording feature has been especially valuable and I've been using it by default for technical conferences during COVID. It's also the platform most technical conferences in optics seem to prefer. On top of that, changing the background is simple and accessing or playing back recordings is convenient since they're saved in MP4 format.
Cons
What gets on my nerves is that the app switches to full-screen mode when someone starts sharing their screen which is frustrating if I'm working on something else while waiting for the meeting to begin. On Windows, when the window is snapped to half screen some menu options disappear and still don't show up even after checking the more options menu. Screen sharing itself seems reliable every time but sharing individual applications doesn't feel as consistent. During recordings, my own video feed blocks the slides I'm presenting which is distracting in the moment. The recorded version does place my video outside the slide area automatically but it's still annoying while recording. It would also be helpful if there were a built-in video editing tool to trim out sections from recorded videos.

“well known platform”
Pros
Since I began working from home, the software has been a constant part of my routine. These days, almost everyone (students, working professionals and even people who are not working) is familiar with it. It's simple to use and can be accessed on both phones and laptops which makes it extremely helpful for just about anyone.
Cons
Everything has been pretty good and I really haven't come across anything negative about this software.

“quick to learn and use”
Pros
Starting off with this software is simple whether you're on a laptop, desktop or mobile device. New users can usually pick it up very quickly and the difficulty level is minimal.
Cons
A recurring frustration is camera access on different devices. Users often run into problems getting their camera to connect which means some troubleshooting is needed. That can delay the start of meetings or client calls and create unnecessary lag at the beginning. To be fair, this isn't only a video call issue since similar problems can happen with competitors like Microsoft Teams.

“flexible meetings and breakout rooms”
Pros
The flexibility and meeting customization are incredibly helpful when setting up different kinds of sessions. Features like muting everyone during presentations and using breakout rooms alongside a main room make it especially useful.
Cons
The HD quality isn't always very clear although that seems partly tied to bandwidth limitations and the quality of each person's webcam.

“simple interface”
Pros
Switching from Skype happened because the software is so easy to use and the interface is simple. Other programs just don't stack up to the level of convenience and integration this software provides.
Cons
At times, tracking down certain settings can be a bit inconvenient. The core buttons are clear enough but some of the more specialized features feel tucked away.
