“What an excellent product!
Pros
Buildium made it super easy to integrate leases, accounting, properties and repairs all in one smooth, unified platform, everything I needed, right at my fingertips!
Cons
The app provided with Buildium left something to be desired, but it adequately fulfilled its purpose. If the app offered more features, it would certainly be an improvement.

I'm grateful for its ability to securely store and effectively arrange files for property management.
Cons
The maintenance feature of Buildium is pretty lacking, it's so inadequate that I have had to pay for another company's system just to fill the gap and get the job done properly.

The interface is welcoming and the overall functionality is impressive.
Cons
The Customer Service is EXTREMELY POOR!! Tickets are raised but there is no followup. I have to make multiple calls because I end up speaking with untrained and inexperienced individuals who have limited capabilities to resolve an issue. Buildium's decision to freeze our bank account due to the underwriting team's incompetence in verifying basic information such as an SSN put our business in serious jeopardy. We had to wait a week for the funds to be released when.... finally (after 3 years of service), they conducted a basic background check to confirm everything was in order. It was a very poor business decision on Buildium's part. Exercise extreme caution when entrusting a company like Buildium with your customer finances in such a manner. It is highly disappointing and unprofessional.

Accounting is seamless and simple. The transparency with violations and reports is highly valued by everyone. We are particularly pleased with the vendor payment features.
Cons
Unable to download personal files in bulk. Unable to attach files to email blasts. Notes do not update in real time.

It's incredibly intuitive to use, while also providing advanced tools. The robust trust accounting simplifies auditing and compliance. The support team is consistently prompt and reliable. They continuously make updates and improvements, demonstrating a genuine commitment to the product. I appreciate time-saving features, and Buildium delivers on that front. The tenant app is highly regarded by tenants, and the communication features work seamlessly.
Cons
Buildium is an excellent choice for property managers handling up to approximately 100 properties. However, it lacks the necessary features for managing more than that, such as advanced batch reports and many standard tools. It also doesn't have inspection schedule tracking, and the manager app is not the most optimal.

Pros
After a few years of working with Buildium, it has become an indispensable part of our operation. Our efficiency and professionalism would be compromised without it.
Cons
There is a significant learning curve and there are still instances where we encounter issues we can't resolve ourselves but it's technical support is incredibly understanding and quick to identify and resolve problems.

Pros
The integration of rent tracking, expenses and banking is exceptional. The tenant payment portal is remarkably simple and convenient.
Cons
The onboarding process was a bit confusing at first but once I started using it regularly, it became a lot easier to handle and made much more sense.

I really like all the features Buildium has especially the work orders, rent tracking and accounting….they've been super helpful.
Cons
In my personal opinion, Buildium's numerous features are concealed by an outdated interface, making it challenging to learn initially. If the interface had a more contemporary design, it could attract even more customers who could fully appreciate its powerful capabilities.
