“Absolutely love using DoorLoop
Pros
Overall, my experience has been really positive. The way it integrates with third-party APIs like Box Sign and Plaid for bank connectivity is super smooth. Also the user interface is simple and intuitive, so it's easy to get the hang of without needing a lot of training.
Cons
It did not have some key features that are important for commercial real estate, but the data team is already working on adding those, which will definitely be helpful for commercial property managers like me.

DoorLoop is highly intuitive and fairly easy to use once it is set up right. They have also made a lot of improvements to the platform and adding new features continuously which is great and helpful for us.
Cons
Every issue I've had has been promptly resolved through the chat feature and support calls. So no complaints whatsoever.

I really like how much detail is shown about leases and the options available within the tenant pages.
Cons
The long animations of dialog boxes sliding and moving gets pretty frustrating for me. Plus, not being able to just hit enter or space to act as a basic left-click for the selected box feels like such a simple thing that's missing.

“Very pleased with DoorLoop
Pros
So far, I am pretty happy with DoorLoop. We've only been using it for a month, but it already offers almost all the features we did find with other property management software and at a much better price. I also really like the personalized Zoom call support they provide during the system setup as it is been super helpful!
Cons
For now there is no way for my tenants to pay their rent in cash, like through a 7-11 or Western Union location if it's available it would make things so much easier. Also, the home page feels too focused on trends and reports, but that's not really my priority. I use the software more as a tool, and some of the features I use the most are not quickly accessible. Also it's a bit of a hassle having to take a roundabout way to get to them. For example, I cannot easily pull up a tenant list for a specific property without filtering it through a portfolio first. And the "leases" and "tenants" features feel kind of redundant, which adds unnecessary clicks to navigate between them.

Pros
DoorLoop is without a doubt a complete solution I have been looking for to run my property management company. It covers everything from finding tenants to paying owners. The ongoing upgrades and improvements have kept me happy and I'm definitely sticking with DoorLoop. I simply love how I can handle everything I need right inside the platform. Plus whenever I have had an issue, their support team is always there to help me out.

I need to maintain an active property solely for "viewing applications," which incurs additional costs.

I love how DoorLoop puts everything in one place which makes everything so much easier for me to manage and has streamlined my operations. Also navigating through it from handling applications to collecting rent, all is super simple.
Cons
It would be helpful if rents were added to my bank account individually with corresponding addresses or as a lump sum with addresses for easier tracking.

Cons
Getting tenants moved in or out and setting up new ones can be pretty frustrating. There are just too many steps involved, and the whole process feels way more complicated than it preferred it to be.

DoorLoop really brings everything together nicely and it even pulls in transactions directly from my bank account. Also it is a great deal at a good price. And I am happy with it. I've used other software before and spent hours trying to get things done, but DoorLoop is so much simpler. Plus, their customer service is amazing.
Cons
There are so many features in the software that it can be hard to find what I'm looking for sometimes. I think simplifying the accounting side of things, like how Stessa.com does it, would make a big difference.

I love everything about DoorLoop but if I had to pick the biggest highlight, it would be the immediate online help center which has been a lifesaver for me since I am new to this program. Plus the overall ease of use and the super friendly interface are huge pluses too. Another big perk is the owner and tenant portals where my clients can access all their financials, rent payments and maintenance needs 24/7. It is simply amazing. I have used other software before, and nothing compares to this. I did give it a solid 9/10 and I can definitely see my business using DoorLoop for a long time.
Cons
I really wish they did update or switch their outgoing payment processor. Checkbook.io feels so outdated and the processing time is way too slow. I have ended up just transferring rents directly from my business bank account instead. It’s an extra step for me but at least my clients and homeowners get paid much faster that way.

Honestly, DoorLoop has been a total game changer. The main reason I decided to go with them is because of their Zapier integration which a lot of other rental management solutions just don't have. Zapier is such an essential tool for automating things as a property manager, so that was a huge deal for me. But what really surprised me was how customizable their website and tenant portals are. It is been a great way to enhance our brand, and I could not be happier with my decision.
Cons
I admit the price of DoorLoop is higher compared to other products, but the automation and value it offers make it worthwhile. It may not be suitable for users with only 1-2 properties, but it is an excellent scalable solution for managers with multiple properties.

DoorLoop has everything from built-in accounting to Zapier integrations, an open API and even a mobile app. What really stands out to me is their responsive customer service and how easy the platform is to use. Plus the tech is really forward-thinking, making it a top choice for me.
Cons
Looking ahead, I think it did be great if they added more features to the software. A stronger task management system with automated conditional logic would be very helpful, along with an AI-powered search to make finding things faster. It would also be awesome to have tenant portals with extras like two-way messaging, booking options, automated property FAQs and community boards. Plus, having built-in integrations with external software and vendors would really smooth out syncing between apps and make everything more seamless to use.

Cons
When I was setting things up, there were notifications sent to my tenants without me knowing, which caused some issues. It was frustrating because I was not prepared for that. On top of that, a lot of the features take way too many steps to find, which can make navigating the software feel like a hassle sometimes.
