I'm afraid we are going to have to find another software package
Pros

We opted for Sitelink because it operates on the Cloud.

Cons

Unfortunately we have encountered a corruption issue in our Sitelink package but their customer service team seems incapable of understanding our problem. They refuse to acknowledge that it's a Sitelink problem, and the comprehension level of most of the service representatives we speak to is extremely poor. I have lost all faith in the accuracy of their reports, making it impossible for me to import them into my accounting software (Quickbooks). I have spent days trying to untangle this issue and manually adjust our data. It's a complete nightmare, especially since communicating with their service team is as futile as talking to the man in the moon. We are now exploring alternative cloud-based systems in the UK, and I strongly advise other facilities to steer clear of Sitelink.

Very Confusing Web Edition & MyHub
Pros

It's a robust management software for self-storage packed with fantastic features that make running one or more facilities highly efficient.

Cons

It's incredibly frustrating that the software isn't truly web-based as advertised. The web edition needs to be installed on each desktop, and the web portal (MyHub) is severely lacking in many features. It creates a lot of confusion for our staff having to switch between the two.

Sitelink satisfaction
Pros

Sitelink is an incredibly simple and easy to use program. It essentially guides you through the necessary steps to create leases and manage occupancy and payments.

Cons

I don't have any features that I dislike. To fully understand the capabilities it offers, users need to explore and experience the product firsthand.

Excellent web edition
Pros

I adore the web edition and it's a breeze to navigate.

Cons

The vacant unit report could be simplified further, and it would be great if there was an option to exclude prorates from the report. All we really need is the unit number, size, area, days vacant, and price.

My experience with SiteLink
Pros

As someone new to this industry I greatly appreciate the straightforward functionalities and how effortlessly I can grasp the platform.

Cons

I believe the reminders panel could benefit from better organization. It would be helpful to have a way to categorize tasks and notifications to prevent them from all blending together.

JD SiteLink review
Pros

The program is user-friendly and teaching it to someone in person or remotely is a breeze. Mistakes can generally be corrected, and there's always the option to ask questions or search for information online. I love that there's a dedicated section for learning and getting certified. When I was in the store, I relished the opportunity to expand my knowledge.

Cons

I remember hearing about secret codes, such as linking units, that were supposed to be released in a book format. I understand that after the acquisition, these codes might not be available anymore.

Small Storage Use
Pros

SiteLink is effortless to use and teach. It simply "makes sense." I started with little knowledge of the storage industry, but with SiteLink, I easily navigated the system, added necessary items, and assisted my customers. Their customer service is exceptional!

Cons

I learned the hard way that some items are not backed up. During an update, I lost all the ID photos I had inserted.

Pros

The SiteLink team was supportive and efficient during our integration. Non customer facing tasks have been streamlined, freeing up more time to handle slow paying customers and effectively implement pricing changes.

Cons

Entirely Satisfactory Software Application
Pros

The application is intuitive and easy to navigate especially with the Dashboard feature that provides convenient access to items requiring attention.

Cons

Sitelink not as tech advanced as Storedge
Pros

Its great that Sitelink seamlessly integrates with our credit card processing company.

Cons

I previously used Storedge before the property buyout, and it was much more equipped for digital business. It allowed easier email and text communication with tenants, including read receipts. The paperless lease process was smoother, as was exporting documents and photos. The dashboard in Storedge provided a better overview of business compared to the reminder/operation page in Sitelink. Storedge also automated payment processing and invoicing, saving hours of time.

Pros

I appreciate the options to edit ledgers and the ability to modify the map on Sitelink Web Edition. Its convenient to view customer receipts and invoices all on one page.

Sitelink does everything you need it to!
Pros

The software offers a multitude of functions, making it excellent for handling payments, transfers, move ins and move outs, price adjustments and much more.

Cons

The updates are not seamless, and we often have to perform administrative updates to fix issues with Sitelink. The website for scheduling appointments should ask for more information like driver's license, date of birth, and alternate contact details. It should also be named something other than "appointment" Recurring charges should be proratable not just at move out.

Good Product
Pros

Integrating with our current gate system was a straightforward process although it didn't fully meet my preferences.

Cons

Pros and Cons
Pros

Being able to access our records from anywhere is a major advantage. There are occasions when I need to review records to assess gate issues or customer lockouts. I also like being able to see the last rate increase for a customer.

Cons

Some of the features in the web edition are quite different from the standalone version. For example, gate access and adjustments are not as straightforward as before. Occasionally I need to enter a check number instead of searching for the individual who initiated the check.

Pros

I love how easily accessible the reports and documents are. Sitelink makes our daily tasks incredibly simple and straightforward.

Sitelink is a critical part of our operations. We require it for all managed and owned locations.
Pros

The softwares ease of use, accuracy in editing and account management, and numerous features for business control greatly contribute to customer service.

Cons

The sign in times are often long, and the reporting for reservations is lacking and difficult to sort out. Editing protection/insurance requires confirmation for each item individually even for admins or owners. The late fee setup in California removes the option to use other automatic fees. There is no facilities management for maintenance other than noting it in unit notes which cannot be tracked. While you can mark a unit for service, there should be different levels to automatically indicate the type of service required.

Pros

Believe it or not I used to handle everything manually, and my boss did even more bookkeeping manually (as I wasn't involved in accounting reports). Sitelink has significantly alleviated the paperwork burden. Since there's no printed or online manual I rely on tech support to answer my questions. Their support is excellent!

Pros

The software is relatively easy to use, featuring simple functions.

Cons

When transferring a past due tenant, it automatically makes them current. Additionally, an Apple version is not available. To take a credit in the payment screen, you have to process it separately first; otherwise, it doesn't allocate the credit to the desired line (it applies it to the oldest charge first). It would be beneficial to have a 90% rotate function when placing units on the maps without reversing the length and width. The current function reverses the order, while in Sitelink length needs to be entered first so this function changes that sequence instead of just rotating the direction on the map.
