Pros
The monthly fee makes it a good program and it seamlessly integrates with our kiosk and gate systems.
Cons
They must update their settings to allow sending notices and invoices to clients using Gmail addresses. It is a necessary improvement for Web Self Storage. Additionally, since they are a branch of Uhaul, their website experiences lag and takes some time to load.

Pros
In the beginning, it was just okay but over time the program became very unstable so we decided to discontinue using it.
Cons
I am really disappointed with the customer service. They have given me incorrect reports and there are constant issues with processing autopays. There are just so many problems that it's hard to even keep track of them all.

One thing I really like about WSS is the visual map that displays the status of each unit.
Cons
Had some trouble with emailing at first as multiple emails weren't making it to the right customers. Thankfully, the issue has been sorted out now and things are running smoothly again.

Pros
Pricing is reasonable and definitely an important factor for us when choosing this software. Plus it has all the necessary features for the self-storage business and tenants receive timely information. Also it is easy to use and the customer support team is exceptional. As the representative always answers my calls and provides the most helpful assistance. I never have to wait on hold but reach her directly. When I don't understand something, she patiently guides me through it. She is probably the main reason for the fantastic reviews.
Cons
It took me a little time to figure out some of the features because they are not quite clear at first. But once you get the hang of the system, everything starts to make sense. Even though am still learning, but overall it's pretty easy to use.

The system is quite reliable as everything is accurate and on time. Plus the customer service is simply the best. And the representative who helped us really knows their stuff and always provides quick and helpful support.
Cons
As someone who is not particularly tech-savvy, it took me a little while to familiarize myself with the software. However, with the assistance of the support team, the process became easier.

WebSelfStorage software is easy to navigate and very user friendly. Plus the customer support is simply amazing as they are always available when I contacted them.
Cons
The program has numerous tabs for each customer which makes it difficult to remember where to access specific information. And as I didn't set up the program myself, it is harder for me to recall the location of certain features.

The credit card fees are competitive in the industry. We had been using the same software for years, but we needed more features to assist us with statements and automatic credit card processing at the beginning of each month.
Cons
As individuals in our mid-60s, there was a learning curve involved with any new program. However, after becoming familiar with it, things improved quite a bit. However our electronic gate access is not compatible with the program and I think it would also be beneficial to have the ability to make batch payments.

Well I am not a tech savvy person but I like tools that streamline operations and WebSelfStorage has helped me achieve that. Once you get familiar with it, navigating the system is quite simple. If you are unsure about something they have helpful people who can guide you.
Cons
I feel like it would be helpful to have more personalized assistance to further understand ways to improve the efficiency of managing all of my storage. After almost two years of using the program, I would like to have guidance on undiscovered features. I believe this is possible but I have not had the opportunity to discuss it with anyone yet.

Cons

Pros
The integration with our business worked seamlessly. What I like the most is the ability to call and receive assistance whenever I have a question. The support team has been patient and helpful especially when we needed to separate Web Self Storage from our original business to create two separate entities. And the support staff walked me through the process which eventually allowed me to assist my customers properly.

At first, the sales and support team were great as they responded quickly and seemed genuinely willing to help. But the issues with the programs data upload just got to be too much. Eventually, they decided we were no longer a good fit, which was quite disappointing. We couldn't even get to the activation stage because the uploads kept failing, so I never got a chance to see any of the platforms benefits.
Cons
I tried everything to provide our existing contract info like entering it directly into the online portal and using the spreadsheet they provided. Even though I have plenty of experience with electronic data and spreadsheets, both methods kept crashing and failing. It was very frustrating and I am sure that frustration came through in my emails to their support team. In the end, webselfstorage ended the relationship before we even really got started.

WSS software offers wide range of functionality and its ease of use is commendable. The technical and administrative support surpasses any other experience I've had. Support is available through live chat, phone or email, and the professionals I worked with provided the assistance I needed. They ensured that all my questions were answered without any lingering uncertainty. Also they quickly addressed a specific question we had and provided step by step instructions. They also followed up with an email, outlining the steps in case we needed them later. Plus it covers all our self-storage needs at a reasonable price. WebSelfStorage goes beyond being a typical unit management software. It encompasses every aspect of facility tasks, financials, off site and on site communications, demographics and comprehensive reports for running a secure and professional business. We have tried other programs but this one offers the best coverage for all storage-related tasks, reports and accountability. While minor adjustments may be required for personalization, it is a plug and play, multi user, full service platform that fulfills all our needs and more!
Cons
There is not much I don't like about the program, but one thing I wish they would change is how payments are posted. The system is great at ensuring accountability and making it tough for dishonest employees to commit fraud, but not being able to pre-date a payment is frustrating. Every payment is automatically dated based on when its entered, even if it arrives late. While there are options for internal adjustments, you can't change the received date. We ran into an issue when one of our staff members was on vacation as payments were entered after they got back, but the system still dated them for the day they were entered, not when they were actually received. For smaller facilities like ours having more flexibility with payment posting would be a huge help.
