Yes ease of use is important, but what is equally important is how fast can a platform take you out of a mess you accidentally created. And most of the time, teams decide to not go with software because pre-existing users complain about customer support. Nobody would like to disrupt their workflows because the platform’s customer support went on the holidays to Maldives for 15 days.

Where these partners really earn their keep is in the complicated stuff — custom workflows, tricky implementations, managed review services. The flip side, though, is that for everyday support issues, you're usually going back through that same partner rather than straight to the source. And that's where things can get inconsistent.  

Your experience ends up depending a lot on who your specific partner is rather than getting the same baseline level of service every time.
