Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

What Is A PTO?

PTO stands for Paid Time Off. As the name suggests, it’s any leave that an employee takes that is paid for by a company. This means that even if an employee takes an extended period of time away from work, they will still be financially compensated by their company.

Is It Mandatory To Give A Reason For PTO?

Currently, there are no laws that make it necessary for employees to give a reason to their company. Since these are personal leaves, an employee is not obligated to disclose any personal details to their boss.
