I find the platform easy to use with minimal issues. It receives frequent updates. However, understanding the system's capabilities, training staff and expanding the program to accommodate spa growth require a significant number of resources.
Cons
Sometimes, I find it confusing when adding more services and products. I have to figure out which page to initially build them on which results in a lot of clicking back and forth.

There are numerous options and ways to use the system. I like receiving notifications for appointment cancellations or schedules. Also the ability to choose notification preferences is a great feature.
Cons
When someone moves their appointment, it doesn't notify me who made the change. As a result, I end up with random openings in my schedule and I have no idea who was originally booked there. It would be helpful to have a button I can click to see who canceled or rescheduled.

The inclusion of Boulevard's own mobile pay device is particularly useful for collecting payments when clients don't have their physical credit cards on hand.
Cons
There are very few cons that I believe are in Boulevard software. The platform truly offers every feature a business owner could think of, and it rarely experiences downtime.

It offers stylists easy to understand reports on their performance while providing management with in-depth reports that avoid unnecessary data. The reports are clear and easy to comprehend.
Cons
Most of my issues with Boulevard starts from missing functions, but I understand that the development team is constantly working on improving the platform. My biggest complaint is that the professional app doesn't allow management to view all reports and the desktop site isn't mobile-friendly.

It is very much easy to use and their customer service is responsive and helpful for resolving any questions. Boulevard can be customized to suit our business needs. It helps me keep track of appointments, and clients also find it user-friendly since Boulevard sends confirmation emails and texts. Overall, Boulevard has been an invaluable resource for our business.
Cons
There is not anything major that I do not like about Boulevard, but if I had to mention one it would be that the Boulevard app interface doesn't offer all the same options as the website.

Customer service is non-existent, unless you enjoy talking to a bot. They don't provide any phone numbers, so if you need assistance, you have to schedule a zoom call. They also don't respond to emails.

Online booking and the clean calendar and client history, including appointments, payments, and services, are excellent features.
Cons
The integration with Quickbooks is poor, time-consuming and too confusing. The other worst part is that you have to handle everything on your own. The appointment metric reports are below par. If you offer in-house financing, you can't input payment plans into BLVD. Instead, you have to manually process payments each day, which takes up a lot of time. The onboarding team may tell you that you can manage this through memberships, but that's not accurate because BLVD considers any membership payment as a new sale, which messes up your accounting.

The transition from Zenoti was smooth. The team was very helpful, and everything transferred over seamlessly, except for one package. However, our representative manually switched it for us.
Cons
The deposit feature is all or nothing. Even clients who have account credit or vouchers (packages) are still required to pay a deposit, which can be annoying for them and challenging to figure out how to refund. It seems like there are a lot of credit card fees for money that I can't keep.

The client experience has been amazing. It was the best. Online booking is not a hassle and the ability to customize each client's booking requirements is a lifesaver. I can excellently optimize my schedule by reducing appointments to 5-minute increments without the hassle of manually squeezing them in and having a messy calendar.
Cons
The marketing feature is still quite basic. I wish there were more features similar to Flodesk and Zapier without the need for additional software charges on top of an already relatively expensive scheduling software. Integrations with Canva would be fantastic.

Additionally, the fact that the price remains steady regardless of the number of users is helpful for growing businesses. My favorite aspect is the customer service. We rarely encounter issues since we started using Boulevard, but on the rare occasions we did, their response time was within minutes of reaching out.
Cons
In my opinion, the professional app requires a lot of improvement. The inability to take payments in the mobile app creates issues when we need to make purchases or enter appointments while away from a computer. Scheduling appointments can also be a tedious task. If there was a way to utilize the app to view and select the best or all available appointment times, it would greatly improve the user experience.

I can't find any shortcomings with this app! I love that I can text the spa using the designated number to communicate with the front desk, access all the necessary paperwork conveniently through the app, and receive text alerts with new booking information. It's the best scheduling app I've used so far.

Online booking and the clean calendar and client history, including appointments, payments, and services, are excellent features.
Cons
The integration with Quickbooks is poor, time-consuming and too confusing. The other worst part is that you have to handle everything on your own. The appointment metric reports are below par. If you offer in-house financing, you can't input payment plans into BLVD. Instead, you have to manually process payments each day, which takes up a lot of time. The onboarding team may tell you that you can manage this through memberships, but that's not accurate because BLVD considers any membership payment as a new sale, which messes up your accounting.

The transition from Zenoti was smooth. The team was very helpful, and everything transferred over seamlessly, except for one package. However, our representative manually switched it for us.
Cons
The deposit feature is all or nothing. Even clients who have account credit or vouchers (packages) are still required to pay a deposit, which can be annoying for them and challenging to figure out how to refund. It seems like there are a lot of credit card fees for money that I can't keep.

The client experience has been amazing. It was the best. Online booking is not a hassle and the ability to customize each client's booking requirements is a lifesaver. I can excellently optimize my schedule by reducing appointments to 5-minute increments without the hassle of manually squeezing them in and having a messy calendar.
Cons
The marketing feature is still quite basic. I wish there were more features similar to Flodesk and Zapier without the need for additional software charges on top of an already relatively expensive scheduling software. Integrations with Canva would be fantastic.

Additionally, the fact that the price remains steady regardless of the number of users is helpful for growing businesses. My favorite aspect is the customer service. We rarely encounter issues since we started using Boulevard, but on the rare occasions we did, their response time was within minutes of reaching out.
Cons
In my opinion, the professional app requires a lot of improvement. The inability to take payments in the mobile app creates issues when we need to make purchases or enter appointments while away from a computer. Scheduling appointments can also be a tedious task. If there was a way to utilize the app to view and select the best or all available appointment times, it would greatly improve the user experience.
