feature-rich but takes learning

Pros

There are plenty of features available to choose from based on what our business needs. We depend on the inventory management, the efficient point of sale, the loyalty program, promotions and the automated reports. The inventory management is very detailed and flexible when it comes to customization. The point of sale interface is easy while still supporting a more complex inventory setup. Whenever we've had system issues, the service team has resolved them quickly.

Cons

Getting comfortable with certain features and attributes hasn't always been simple for everyday users and learning how to use the system properly for our specific business needs has been a challenge. Once you get familiar with the platform and its quirks, it becomes much easier to take advantage of what it can do. Still, the training materials are limited and the overall experience would be much better if there were one-on-one training, classes or product demos available.

broken features with terrible ux

Pros

It gives you plenty of customization options and a platform that can grow along with your business.

Cons

On paper, the feature set sounds excellent but that only matters if things actually work or feel like they were designed with users in mind. The UI and UX are awful. They've made a few updates here and there yet it still feels obvious that the team has little to no real understanding of UX design. Support is basically absent as well. I've been on several calls with their support team where I ended up knowing more about the product issues than they did. In some cases, I already knew what the problem was and what was causing it before they even figured it out. And if you need a bug fixed, don't expect much. We had one very simple bug that stayed unresolved for more than a year and a half. On top of that, they make strangely obscure and arbitrary product decisions. Just when it seems like the platform is finally moving in a better direction, they change something and somehow make it worse.
