“MyPOS for Museums”
Pros
I found MyPOS relatively simple to implement, and it meets all our needs, including daily admissions, annual passes, and retail sales. Even though there's a huge list of reports available, there were a few that we needed but were not listed. The team at Tricity had no issue customizing the reporting to suit our needs. The till functions are pretty intuitive, and training our team has been very easy.
Cons
Entering new products and printing tickets can be a bit slow, especially since we don't always have a PO. It would be helpful if we could batch print barcode labels for deliveries. Shopify integration wasn't as simple as other products I've used (like Lightspeed), but the customer service team was a huge help in getting things running smoothly.

“MyPOS - An excellent choice for POS system”
Pros
It is easy to use MyPOS. The people at TriCity are knowledgeable, professional, and pleasant to work with. They always do their best when presented with new business requirements.
Cons
Coming from the MS RMS system, I'm missing the ability to secure any field on the screen so that only selected users can see them, such as landed cost. However, this really depends on your business requirements.

“RMS vs MyPOS”
Pros
I consistently receive support from Tri City Retail when needed. They are flexible in creating solutions when there are shortcomings.
Cons
It doesn't have a multitask function, where I can leave a screen and come back with details from other sections without having to close the initial screen I was working on. It's what we've learned to call "single path."

“Summary of MyPOS”
Pros
MyPOS never fails or goes down, which prevents real problems in the workplace for me.
Cons
The reports are hard to work with because they don't feed off each other. When investigating, I have to come out and go back into another report to complete the investigation. The upside is the support is fabulous, and they are willing to create a special report, but up to that point, it is challenging. I would have loved a more comprehensive manual of instruction. The one provided did not give enough detail to explain the features and the HOW TO.

“Farm Market Retail POS Software”
Pros
This program is easy for me to use, well-organized, and uncomplicated. As a Point of Sale system, training staff is simple and easy to complete. The reporting system is easy to manipulate, allowing me to generate what I need without filtering through unnecessary data. For an on-farm market, this software works well, even during inevitable internet outages.
Cons
What I found challenging with our transition was finding out which pieces of our existing equipment would operate with this software (integrated scales and card machines, screens, computer, etc.).

“General Manager”
Pros
MyPOS is easy for me to learn, and the support team is great. If I have an issue, I just call, and they are always happy to assist.
Cons
In a few spots, the interface is not as easy to use as I'd like. Most of the time, it felt like "what is here?" rather than "Here is where I can find this." A minor issue in the grand scheme of things.

“Great Product and Company”
Pros
From Day 1 of purchasing the product, this software has been very easy to navigate for me. The staff is easy to work with and has been able to customize or fix any issues I've had with the software.
Cons
I don't really have any cons about the product. The software is very customizable and can do anything I need it to do!

“MyPOS Daily User”
Pros
The only thing I like is that I can lock my till by pressing EXIT.
Cons
Cloud-based = SLOW. Products can only be edited one at a time and take forever to update. Nothing can be edited from PO. PO# cannot be edited. Nothing can be changed in Transfer Out/In or in Purchase Orders once you save (like name, company, number, anything about the product). Partial receiving with freight isn't allowed. It doesn't let you delete any item if there are sales records or it was once on a PO or transfer in/out. You cannot permanently delete the item. I could go on, but there is NOT ENOUGH TIME to type it all out.

“Review for MyPOS”
Pros
I enjoy MyPOS because it is fully customizable and detailed for specific items, taxes, and discounts. It's easy for me to program new buttons, categories, and layouts. Despite having a very large menu, it is easy to display and access everything.
Cons
Since it is so customizable, it does take a bit of practice and training.

“MyPOS review”
Pros
The features of MyPOS are easy for me to set up and use. Now that we have the system integrated with QuickBooks, it is very easy for me to download daily into QuickBooks.
Cons
Although setting up the integration with QuickBooks proved to be a challenging task, the support team at MyPOS was extremely helpful and, with their assistance, we eventually managed to get everything up and running. At times, it can be quite difficult to understand what specific support services are being offered.

“Shooter's Choice MyPOS review”
Pros
Installing MyPOS was easy for me. The customer support is local and easily available. I have had past positive experiences with the customer support team at RMS. Customizable features and reports are available when requested, sometimes at an extra cost. The search function, spreadsheet conversions, and cloud-based offline sales are great.
Cons
The product is missing basic features, causing me to leave the product screen and run individual reports to find answers to my questions. Many of these are basic things I've seen in much cheaper programs, like product on order, last sale date, last receive date, or even a basic product report within the product I'm looking at without having to go back and into three other screens to find my answer. Our web team struggled hard at the start of MyPOS. They were told the API was ready and could do a lot, but it didn't. To put it bluntly, it was horrible. Our team actually helped them implement API 2.0. We've run into many errors that were very difficult to understand along the way. The DEV team had to dig into them and get back to us days later. The support was great, but it was very hard to deal with as we almost felt like we were the test run of MyPOS on many occasions. If the DEV team doesn't think your request is important enough, then your request is ignored unless you pay a fee to implement the item.

“Change is difficult, but with help it's possible!”
Pros
The back-office part of the software is well-organized, helping me walk through any task I'm looking to accomplish. The spreadsheet integration to enter products and purchase orders is fantastic compared to our last program. The POS part is easy to navigate after some training and allows for quick transactions.
Cons
Things can get very confusing very quickly. Mistakes are easily made but not easily corrected. Change overall is hard, but it was a bit more intimidating at the beginning than I imagined. If you don't have good trainers to walk you through, good luck! Our tech help has been amazing and is the ONLY reason we've made it as long as we have.

“Tri-City and MyPOS”
Pros
The cloud-based functionality allowed me to easily deploy and manage the system using our existing on-premise Point of Sales System. The ease of configuration and management makes this software a dream to work with. Tri-City, as a vendor and support team, made this solution a no-brainer for me when selecting a next-generation POS.
Cons

“My POS Connect”
Pros
I love the feature of import and export when doing counts, POs, and inventory corrections. The amount of fields to get nuanced information when searching is perfect for me.
Cons
A couple of problems have arisen over the last six months, but we've worked past them with the help of the support team. Being in tobacco, it's kind of a drag that Shopify is the standard website they would like us to use.
