Great system!

Pros

In my opinion, it's the best pharmacy software available. There are some minor issues, especially during updates, but apart from that any problems we encounter are usually resolved quickly.

Cons

Sometimes, the support team doesn't understand the issues when workstations are switched around. Unfiling prescriptions can be frustrating as you have to press "entire" multiple times. The software occasionally closes out randomly during the process of erxs. It's a bit unstable, and updates aren't tested for compatibility with other software like RMS POS.

Cons

The add-on can be costly, and the drug interaction feature is not fully functional. After updates, drug names may be changed or shortened, leading to confusion and errors.

Pros

I find it easy to use. I have tried Best Rx but I prefer the simplicity of PrimeRx.

Cons

The software crashes frequently, and the customer support is inconsistent. Some tech support representatives are knowledgeable, while others are not. I had to make a list of the best tech support representatives.

Pros

We really like the fact that PrimeRX is easy of use which allows for a smooth workflow in a retail environment.

Cons

The clinical drug database needs to be reassessed. The drug interactions sometimes provide completely inaccurate information. Additionally, PrimeRx often links medications incorrectly, failing to associate a generic with other equivalent generics. Customer service representatives sometimes struggle to understand the issues we are facing.

Good system if the maintenance dept hire knowledgeable techs

Primerx and PrimePOS combined into an all in sone system. It works well if the maintenance department hires knowledgeable technicians.

Very Intelligent software

Pros

Stay away from this software, very very poor customer service.

Pros

PrimeRX software is user-friendly and easy to navigate.

Cons

PrimeRx worst aspect is the numerous issues that arise whenever they release an update. Their customer service is terrible. If you call them five times for the same issue, each person will provide a different answer and the problem never gets resolved quickly.

Bad customer service

Pros

PrimeRX Review

Pros

The system is quite simple and has a user-friendly interface. Training new staff to use the software is not a time consuming process. They offer a wide range of training videos and classes. Their customer support is outstanding and resolves issues quickly. The support team and developers are innovative as they are consistently adding new features and functionality as requested. They respond quickly and look in to the problems then take the time to fully understand the issues and provide appropriate solutions. The software is specifically designed for independent pharmacy owners, making them the market leaders in the independent pharmacy management solution space.

Cons

There is nothing about this software that I don't like.

Softwar is improving

Pros

PrimeRx software allows for pharmacist verification of prescriptions and the ability to order from two wholesale companies within the system. Additionally, it provides the option to search by drug name within the patient profile.

Cons

The inability to search by Rx number and to set a hard expiration stop date on insurances is frustrating. Customer service isn't always helpful and often responds curtly or snootily when I call in.

Worst Pharmacy Software

Pros

Since we made the shift six months ago I have been experiencing numerous issues with the software. I don't like anything about it.

Cons

When they mention automatic refills as an option, the software design doesn't seem to match it. I don't think it's actually called automatic refill. Instead, I have to manually generate a report of the filled prescriptions from last month and go through it to refill them again. The EDI setup for ordering medication is terrible. PrimeRx system submits the order instead of leaving it in the wholesaler's cart. As a result, if there are any errors, like quantity or alternate NDCs, it becomes impossible to catch them. Their delivery module has charged patients twice for the same prescription when it's on a charge account. This inaccurate billing almost caused me to lose a facility contract. The upper management is the worst. All they care about is getting the contract signed, and after that, you're on your own. Support technicians can barely speak English and are often clueless.

Highs and lows

Pros

PrimeRx software is quite user-friendly and easy to navigate. I can train someone to use the software within a matter of hours.

Cons

Tech support often struggles to rectify issues. It can take a few weeks, and sometimes when they fix one problem, a new one arises. Not all customer support representatives know what they're doing.

Such a great service

Pros

I am really happy with Micromerchant systems. I use PrimeRx and PrimePOS, and both products are great. They make everything easy, simple and I am very much satisfied with the product and the support. If something isn't working I simply give them a call and they fix it within five minutes.

Cons

I absolutely love everything about it and I don't have any complaints.
