Highly function POS system
Pros

The system provides numerous report options, and entering inventory is easy. Setting up new inventory is not a hassle. Additionally, the system has a built-in time clock.

Cons

Compared to other POS systems on the market, the price of this one is quite high. It does take some time to learn how to set up a completely new system.

Great Solution for Businesses from Small to Large and everywhere in between!
Pros

When our 19-store operation was searching for a solution, we found that we were too big for some options and too small for others. However, RunIT proved to be the perfect fit, allowing us to expand from 19 to over 75 locations while providing backoffice support and integrating with our Distribution Centers and Online Business. RunIt is ability to rapidly grow with us was a major advantage. The team is easily accessible, and their support is prompt, ensuring our business stays operational. RunIT is adaptable, accommodating the unique needs of their customers businesses by offering module customization and out-of-the-box solutions. At the time we invested in RunIT software, very few solutions had live inventory, and most relied on polling inventory, causing delays in making crucial business decisions. With live inventory, decision-makers can quickly access real-time data to support operational choices. From a backend user perspective, the system allows us to easily set sales, update store information, adjust user settings, and even manage machine-based options remotely, which is essential for managing our network of systems as our company grows. RunIT offers this flexibility and more. As we continue to grow and improve, RunIT remains by our side throughout the journey.

Cons

The promotions are tied to the inventory level, which can be a bit inflexible and time-consuming to set up. It would be more convenient if they could be pulled back a few steps to the sku/dept/type or subtype level. However, I must mention that RunIT is open to improvement and willing to work on this.

Biggest business mistake ever then SAVED by Runit
Pros

The system offers a range of features, including free customer service, inventory management, inter-store transferring capabilities, phone app integration, gift card capabilities, reporting, a quick menu screen, item count tally, an easy user interface, a training module, and more. The list goes on and on.

Cons

Although it is customized for the shoe industry, which is not my field I still find it to be the best POS system for my specific needs. So no complaints.

I've used Runit RealTime software since 2008 and am very pleased with it's capabilities and service.
Pros

The software not only offers a wide range of functional and informative components but also comes at an affordable price, which adds to its real value. Moreover, the customer support provided is exceptional in every aspect. It is fast, courteous, friendly, and accurate. Whenever my firm has needed tech support, it has been delivered promptly, ensuring that it does not impact our sales, which is crucial for a POS system.

My Favorite Customer Service
Pros

The other night, I was updating four different computer terminals and as is common with upgrades or updates, issues can arise. I encountered a driver problem with one of my printers and had been struggling with it for far too long, late into the night. I was quite distressed. It was around 2 a.m., and despite my doubts, I decided to call Runit. I did not expect anyone to be available, but I called anyway. After only a few rings, I hung up in defeat. However, within moments, my phone rang. Runit was actually calling me back, even at 2 a.m. A friendly and courteous technician named Derryck was able to help me refocus on the problem, and together we solved it. Just having someone on my team gave me the boost I needed to overcome the issue so that our business could function properly the next day. This is just one example of the assistance I have received from Runit. Their tier 3 staff is also exceptional, and I ca not emphasize that enough. People like Betty, Mark, and Walter are impressively skilled. It is a great relief to hear their voices on the other end of the line whenever a problem arises. They give me the confidence that an effective solution is on its way, and quickly. The best thing about Runit is their personal touch. Many other companies I have dealt with either have a convoluted process to reach a person for help or are unresponsive. I am pretty much satisfied with the fact that when I have a problem, day or night, I can actually reach a knowledgeable professional who will guide me to a solution.

I really wish more companies operated like this. I have no complaints.

A Very Able POS System
Pros

Overall, I find Runit to be an easy to use and user-friendly POS system. The customer service is excellent, as the staff consistently finds solutions for our unique issues. This is crucial because every business faces its own challenges, and using off-the-shelf software often requires adapting our operations to fit the system. RunIT POS is flexible enough for us to operate in a way that suits our market. It provides exactly what we need from a POS system at a very reasonable price.

Cons

Speaking from an IT perspective, I would prefer more granular security settings and a better database connection for reporting purposes, but these are just minor details.

The best POS solution on the market! RUNIT support uses best practices and is top notch.
Pros

Four years ago, we were a single-store business. Now, we have eight retail stores across five states and an online site. We required a POS solution that was easy to install, easy to learn, and offered exceptional support so that our employees could focus on selling our Bluetique womens clothing and accessories, rather than dealing with technology. The initial training we received was truly top-notch. The ongoing support for any questions or hardware-related issues is exceptional. The RUNIT team takes responsibility for ensuring we receive the answers we need or resolving any problems in a timely manner. I highly recommend the RUNIT RealTime POS system.

Good overall POS solution with great inventory reporting
Pros

The major advantages of the system include comprehensive inventory reporting, quick and efficient support and overall usability. Despite having numerous variables and options, it is surprisingly intuitive and easy to use.

Cons

Our main issue arises when writing future purchase orders for products we also want to reorder based on models. The on-order function interferes with the model reordering process.

Pros

In my experience, Runit is incredibly user-friendly and easy to use. As a first-time user of this type of program, I found it quite simple to grasp. The customer service has been outstanding! I never have to wait long, and the representatives on the phone are always highly knowledgeable about the product and offer great assistance.

Cons

The only drawback would be the systems lack of personalization. It would be great if we could set limits on what certain users are able to do. For example, we consistently face issues with people printing tickets during the receiving process without hitting "OK," resulting in items not being properly received in the system but still being available for purchase, leading to negative stock. This is the main aspect I would love to see changed in the current system.

Love Runit
Pros

We have been utilizing Runit for 12 years now, and we absolutely love it. It is quite user-friendly and the customer service is top-notch. We no longer have to worry about updates, and I even have an app on my iPhone that allows me to view live sales data across all our locations.

This is a great and economical solution to POS systems.
Pros

Runit is a comprehensive program that offers extensive back-office reporting capabilities for inventory control in multi-store settings. The front-end of the POS system is easy to navigate, and it provides powerful reporting features. The customer service and support are excellent, with minimal technical issues.

Pros

I have never come across a better and more seamless POS system. The CRM functionality is incredibly easy to use and helps grow your business by providing all the necessary information at your fingertips. The customer service team is simply the best, always providing real-time assistance and going above and beyond to help in every way possible.

I cannot think of any cons at the moment, except for the fact that email integration should be included as part of the original module instead of relying on a specific credit card processor.

When my company decided to explore integrated inventory and POS systems a few years ago, we had detailed discussions with three different POS companies. While all of them were highly qualified, what stood out about Runit was not only their softwares ability to take our business to the next level, but also the exceptional helpfulness and willingness of their team to go the extra mile for us. From the CEO down to the service desk staff, we have been consistently impressed with their dedication. As with any POS/inventory software, there are bound to be challenges along the way, and having reliable support is crucial. Being a small company with limited tech expertise, we rely on having someone there to guide us through the confusion, and that is exactly what Runit provides.

Highly recommended. Best kept secret!
Pros

The ease of use is what I appreciate the most. Runit is clearly designed with the clothing industry in mind, offering fantastic features for sellers like Buyers Club rewards, customer purchase tracking, birthdate information, and efficient special order tracking. One of the best aspects is the comprehensive reports, allowing me to identify top-selling items and determine when to restock. The training department was also excellent and provided valuable assistance.

Cons

One thing to mention is the absence of a current manual. Despite requesting one and not receiving it, I had to search for a free manual online. However, the online manual I found was outdated and incomplete, providing only basic information. Nevertheless, I have been able to figure everything out easily so far. They do offer free email receipts, but those need to be developed. Additional training can be expensive, and I anticipate needing more training once we delve deeper into the program. However, after four months of use, I have not felt the need for it yet.
