Great Service After the Sale
Pros

Switching to Storis felt like stepping into the modern age. I was finally able to manage inventory, make sales and create services without relying on handwritten charts. Maybe it wasn't that terrible, but it definitely seemed like a major improvement.

Cons

The only thing that bothers me is the number of clicks it takes to accomplish my goal. Storis provides options to ensure I don't take the wrong route and make a mistake, but it can feel like a lot of clicks.

Very Helpful Product
Pros

STORIS software allows accurate inventory tracking and ensures items are assigned to customers when entering Sales Orders. This not only guarantees customers receive the correct items they purchased but also helps with reordering products. The analytics feature is a valuable tool for determining popular products and categories.

Cons

Integrating a new product into an established business always has its challenges. Storis has a lot of capabilities, and it did take some time to learn the product, but we managed it. It would be helpful to have the ability to open more than one program function window at a time. There are instances where it would be easier to view multiple windows without switching back and forth.

Pros

The new search engine automatically populates names when entering the last name. The new fulfillment step is great. Our Client Advocate is fantastic.

Cons

The "save history" function doesn't work properly. I have to save every time I am in an order before exiting.

The Bed Store
Pros

I have only used Storis and never tried any other software. Storis seems easy to me, but I haven't used any other software to compare.

Cons

Similar to my previous point, I have only used Storis and have no experience with other software. Getting information out of Storis can be challenging, and the reporting could be more user-friendly. It would be great to have a dashboard for quicker access to sales data.

After Using For 5+ Years...
Pros

When I started working at Luxe Home Company, Storis was already well integrated into our routine and I immediately come to know that the software is easy to navigate and learn. In a small business, it's essential to perform tasks quickly and properly and the good thing is that Storis provides a step by step system that is easy to use. For example, if I want to view our outstanding gift certificates, even if I am not familiar with the function, I can simply search for "gift certificates," and a clearly labeled option appears which guides me through the prompts to print a report with the exact information I need.

Cons

When Storis isn't functioning correctly for any reason, troubleshooting can be difficult for users. Fortunately, technical support has always been quick to respond and help with any issues. My main frustration is when my computer goes to sleep or if I get disconnected from the internet. If I was working on a sales order or purchase order at that time, Storis doesn't let me back in, and I have to call to reset the page.

Storis Review
Pros

One thing I must applaud is that our customer service rep makes it easy to view customer activity and Sales Order totals.

Cons

We can't input fabric yards in quarter yardages and we can't view a closed purchase order. When printing tags, the PO page exits after each item, which can be inconvenient. There are also some glitches in SKU creation.

Moving Forward With STORIS
Pros

There are numerous features in STORIS that I really like. The inventory control features are highly efficient. STORIS' delivery charge capabilities have increased our delivery charge revenue by 600%. These two important features have been a game changer for us.

Cons

From my perspective, there are no downsides. Yes, transitioning from a system we used for over two decades, which is significantly outdated compared to STORIS in terms of technology and effectiveness, was challenging. However, it was definitely worth it.

If you want a Time Machine Reminder of the terrible software of the 90's
Pros

I couldn't find any positives, except that this is considered the best software in the furniture world and highly praised. However, the software feels outdated like stepping back 30 years. It's terrible, clunky, slow and pathetically behind. They claim it's because of furniture industry as it is a bit different but having worked with logistics and financing in other organizations, I know it's just that the furniture industry and STORIS exploit customers and companies.

Cons

I have numerous complaints about everything! The software is slow and has an outdated look and feel. The company is not at all welcoming when it comes to cons as they reacts strongly to negative reviews. They contacted higher leadership within days, demanding retribution against employees who expressed their opinions. I am not kidding, once I posted a review, the Vice President found me on LinkedIn shortly after and wanted the review taken down and me fired. They are that petty because they know their product is terrible and pathetic. Furniture companies, being cost-conscious, think they are getting a top of the line product (just like they tell their customers), but in reality, they're receiving an attractive package with no better features. This product is a complete failure so stay away form it and instead, invest in a start-up company that will create something ten times better within months!

Storis Review
Pros

Updating orders, information, pricing and descriptions is incredibly easy. The printer settings make life very convenient and ensure accessible records. The description button is a real time-saver when searching for a product.

Cons

STORIS software is quite complex and you need to get accustomed to the way Storis communicates. For example, using the tab key instead of enter is less convenient. Additionally, there are sometimes unnecessary multiple steps required and the search feature could be more versatile. It tends to be too specific at times.

Pros

STORIS software is simple and easy to use at the point of sale for your business. The software has a relatively simple design which makes navigation a simple task.

Cons

Pros

STORIS
Pros

There are very few ERP solutions for Furniture Retail that provide ALL the necessary features from inventory management and point of sale to accounting and everything in between. We are relieved to know that we don't have to integrate additional software like accounting, etc.

Cons

Suggestions from power users for product improvements can take years to be implemented. Custom enhancements are expensive and some parts of the software feel clunky and restrictive.

High quality but sometimes challenging to work with
Pros

STORIS software inventory management feature is exceptional. Sales orders are given high priority and receive significant focus. The client services help team is phenomenal as they always striving for improvement. I also like the solid corporate culture and their dedication to earning your business.

Cons

Many aspects of STORIS software are cost-prohibitive, as pricing for "custom" work can vary greatly. The company's failure to integrate with other technologies and instead develop their own software can limit capabilities and increase costs. Throughout the process, it's easy to feel like a small company that's being nickel-and-dimed.

Pros

The inventory and sales analysis tools in Storis are incredibly powerful. With these tools, we can easily track our best and worst selling items, achieving our gmroi targets to maximize profitability and cash flow.

Cons

Like with any software, as your business grows and changes, you may encounter functions that don't align with your desired operations. However, the Storis team is always great to work with, whether it's finding alternative ways to achieve your goals or actually modifying the software to suit your needs.
