Tray.ai Features
Merlin Agent Builder
Merlin Agent Builder enables teams to design, deploy, and manage AI agents grounded in enterprise data and governance. It allows agents to reason and learn with context while deployed via Slack or an API. This feature drastically reduces the need for custom code and speeds up AI agent rollout.
Intelligent Document Processing
Tray.ai’s built-in IDP transforms unstructured content, such as invoices or user documents, into structured data. It even extracts information from PDFs, files, and other sources, empowering businesses to automate document-heavy processes and unlock hidden insights.
Process Automation
It enables automated data syncing, triggers workflows via webhooks, and ensures secure, API-driven automation, accelerating process execution across departments. It streamlines workflows by embedding AI, while the IT team maintains control of the overall process.
API Management
Tray.ai features robust API management, enabling developers to create and expose APIs with policy controls and role-based access controls. This simplifies integration architecture by turning APIs into reusable processes for Tray Agents. It even supports built-in monitoring for optimal performance.
Agent Accelerators
Tray.ai’s pre-built agent accelerators (e.g., ITSM, Knowledge, Support) provide turnkey templates for common enterprise scenarios. This enables organizations to deploy ready-made AI agents for tasks such as ticketing, knowledge retrieval, and user support, thereby greatly reducing time-to-value.

“Tracks all logs”
Pros
I really appreciate being able to track all the logs clearly and if something fails on a third-party side, we can retrigger it without much hassle.
Cons
When tasks get lengthy especially inside loops, it becomes difficult to review and check everything properly.

“well-structured interface”
Pros
It has been an incredible tool to work with. The interface looks really good and is very simple to follow. It lets you build workflows for all kinds of use cases and connect with different connectors for specific APIs. The logging is available immediately in a separate tab and from a production support perspective, it's very user-friendly to understand what's happening inside the workflows.
Cons
One thing I'd really like to see improved is workflow version control. When several developers are working on the same workflow, there isn't proper version control within the environment. A stronger versioning setup could also include a code review section so one version doesn't accidentally interfere with another. Another issue comes up when a large volume of data is moving through workflows: the UI only shows part of that data. There should be another way to view the complete dataset because it becomes nearly impossible to troubleshoot when the problem exists in the portion marked as "not displayed."
