dark mode and useful integrations

Pros

Being able to switch to dark mode is a nice touch. It also connects well with Workday and other software which makes day-to-day use more convenient.

Cons

The GIF selection is pretty limited. Aside from that, it's fairly simple to use though a fresh design update could make it more interesting.

versatile backgrounds

Pros

There are plenty of background choices and useful sharing options for the presentations I create and overall my experience has been very positive.

Cons

None at this point. I don't have anything negative to say about using Teams right now and my overall experience has been positive.

smooth team scheduling

Pros

Keeping everyone connected is simple with this. Collaborating with the team feels effortless, meetings are quick to set up and schedule and the calendar and Outlook integration fits nicely into our workflow.

Cons

Bringing in external participants could be more simple and the authenticator can be a bit frustrating especially when switching to a new device.

keeps everyone organized

Pros

With Microsoft Teams, staying in touch with coworkers across the US has been really convenient. It's simple to use so communicating with the team works well whether I'm traveling, working from home or sitting in the office.

Cons

Once in a while, my status switches to "in a meeting" even when I'm actually available. It's a minor issue and usually quick to correct.

flexible teams customization

Pros

Works really well for scheduling meetings across the company and I really enjoy the wide range of customization options it offers.

Cons

The notification system can be pretty disruptive. Meeting reminders and call alerts are important but chat notifications often come through unnecessarily.

helps us alot

Pros

Using it has been very simple. The auto-record feature during live streams is a big plus and it's been really helpful for meetings with colleagues and keeping team communication on track. The subscription pricing also feels worth it since it's not overly expensive. Being able to schedule events directly in the platform is another feature I appreciate and their customer service has been amazing. Overall, it does a wonderful job of supporting teamwork and collaboration.

Cons

I honestly don't have many complaints about it. The only issue I've noticed is that it can start to run a bit slowly during very long streaming sessions.

incredible results

Pros

Being able to stay in touch with a lot of the people I needed to work with throughout my calls was something I really appreciated.

Cons

Part I liked least was that calls would sometimes drop for no apparent reason and I never knew what was causing it.

all-in-one !

Pros

One thing that really works well is how it combines chat, meetings, file sharing, customization and collaboration in a single platform. It keeps team communication fast and organized and the integration with other Microsoft tools helps everything stay organized. The customization options are useful, it offers good value for money, the customer support is reliable and it also works well for project management while staying simple to use.

Cons

I do not have anything negative to point out. It has been good overall, simple to use, cost-effective and reliable for everyday work.

well integrated

Pros

Using it feels very simple and it's a big step up from Zoom or GoToMeeting. It fits smoothly across the whole Microsoft ecosystem and has a very adaptive feel overall.

Cons

The launch had some rough spots like call quality wasn't very good, backgrounds were missing and chat felt awkward to use. Those issues have since been fixed.

effortless to use

Pros

Keeping in touch with team members through this software has been much more fluid and the whole experience feels simple. The platform is also simple to navigate and never feels difficult to use.

Cons

I haven't run into anything that stands out as a real problem while using this software.

simple setup

Pros

My favorite thing about Microsoft Teams is how well it connects with other Microsoft services. Using Outlook alongside Teams works brilliantly and it makes it much easier to keep my communication, planning and scheduling in one place. I especially appreciate how it ties in with my planner and helps remind me about upcoming meetings.

Cons

The part I like least about it is the frequent version updates which can sometimes affect how certain systems function. Since updates are rolled out in phases some users get new features before others which means you might have to wait a while before a specific functionality becomes available to you.

User friendly

Pros

Teams has been really effective for staying in touch with coworkers and organizing or managing meetings. It's very user-friendly and works well with other widely used Microsoft products.

Cons

Getting it connected with other apps can be a bit challenging if you're not familiar with how it functions but once you understand it, there's a huge amount you can do with it.

useful integrations

Pros

Using it day to day has been a really positive experience especially because of how simple it is to use. Team communication and collaboration work really well, the customization options are helpful and the added app integrations make it even more useful for our workflow.

Cons

Biggest downside is the price since Teams feels expensive. It's also frustrating that as a Global Admin on the account, I can't view messages between other employees. We're able to do that in Outlook so it's hard to understand why Teams doesn't offer the same capability.

pretty convenient

Pros

It has gradually taken over the role Skype used to have. From what I've seen, it's a user-friendly platform built to improve team communication and collaboration. Customization options are fairly limited but overall it performs really well. The project management features are solid and customer support is also high quality. The free version does come with some time restrictions but once you pay for a plan, it feels worth the investment.

Cons

There honestly isn't a huge difference between Microsoft Teams and Zoom and for a Microsoft product, I expected a bit more innovation.

Pros

Across our company, it keeps everyone connected, whether that's through Zoom meetings or chat conversations.

Cons

Some users have run into glitches or performance problems which means we sometimes have to walk them through those issues.

Impressive chat tools

Pros

Compared with Zoom, a lot of the meeting features in Teams feel just as useful and in some cases even better. Meetings seem a bit more polished and the desktop functionality works really well especially during screen sharing. The messaging side is also a nice touch and being able to send memes and GIFs makes it feel more fun and engaging.

Cons

One thing that bothered me with Teams was that I would occasionally miss message notifications especially when a lot of conversations and interactions were happening at the same time.

Remote work made simple

Pros

Working remotely is much more easy withthisbecause meetings are simple to join, screen sharing works well for presentations and the chat feature is handy during calls. It also has great security which is reassuring.

Cons

One thing that occasionally trips me up is logging in when I switch between my work and personal accounts although that may be more of an account setup issue on my side than a problem withititself.

looks like built for everyone

Pros

Built with simplicity at its core, this productdelivers a smooth and easy experience for users at any skill level.

Cons

One thing that feels out of place is the message about reactions and emoji appearing with a specific skin tone. That really should be removed. I don't see whyitmatters in a workplace setting since features like that make more sense on social media or personal phones than in a professional tool.

Dependable for large meetings

Pros

A dependable workplace solution overall.Teamsmakes it simple for a large number of people to join meetings and it helps keep communication flowing with others across the organization.

Cons

every now and then microphone and camera problems come up. Connectivity can also be a hassle at times which is definitely frustrating and a headache.

good value but training headaches

Pros

Having one place to collaborate and share different parts of a project is very useful. I mean chat is far better than dealing with long email threads and reactions help keep conversations cleaner and less cluttered. Overallitoffers a great value since it's already included with our Microsoft 365 licensing.

Cons

Getting people to actually adoptithas been frustrating becauseitdoesn't feel very natural to a lot of our users. I also really dislike how often the interface gets tweaked and changed sinceitmakes user training harder to maintain as it's kind of like Walmart rearranging the store every month.
