using it for 5 years and reliable

Pros

After using�Microsoft Teams�for the past 5 years for class attendance, meetings and team collaboration, it has made my work much more convenient. Having chats, video calls and file sharing all in one place is very helpful since I don't have to keep jumping between different apps to use those features.

Cons

Video calls can lag when the internet connection isn't strong and the notifications can start to feel overwhelming when you're added to several channels.

strong microsoft integration

Pros

Microsoft Teams�has been very valuable because it brings chat, meetings and file collaboration together in one place. The integration with Microsoft 365 is especially strong which has helped our team work more efficiently and cut down a lot on unnecessary email back-and-forth.

Cons

I honestly haven't run into any downsides with�this platform. I have been using�it�regularly for several years now and�it�hasn't caused any issues or limitations that affect my work.

great team alignment tool

Pros

Using�Teams�every day has made team collaboration feel very natural. It's simple to use and it really helps us stay in touch consistently while working toward our shared goals. For daily communication and keeping everyone aligned, it does exactly what I need it to do.

Cons

One thing that bothers me is the lack of color customization since I'd prefer something other than purple. I also run into issues with the message filters which can make finding specific conversations more frustrating than�it�should be.

IT support is the best

Pros

Hosting virtual meetings with vendors across the world has been very convenient, whether I am working from the office or from home.�It's�also very useful for IT support since end-users can share their screen and let me take control when needed.

Cons

At this point I am satisfied with�it especially now that I can add two accounts and switch between them. That was the last issue I had.

Dark mode option is good

Pros

Being able to switch to dark mode is a nice touch and the integration with Workday and other software makes everything more convenient to use during the workday.

Cons

The GIF selection feels pretty limited. Aside from that,�it's fairly easy to use though a fresh design update could make�it�more interesting.

Pros

Setting up collaboration is pretty easy and scheduling team meetings is quick and convenient.�It�also works very well with Calendar and Outlook which makes keeping everything organized much simpler.

Cons

Bringing external participants into�it�could be more user friendly and the authenticator can be frustrating at times especially when switching to a new device.

like that everything is centralized

Pros

Having everything centralized in�Microsoft Teams Phone�has been the biggest advantage for me. I can message coworkers, join meetings, share files and work together with others all within the same platform instead of bouncing between different tools. It makes communication feel much more organized, efficient and structured.

Cons

There are moments when�it�feels a little overwhelming because�it�includes so many features and channels. That can make�it�take longer to locate certain conversations or files when I need them quickly.

Pros

Microsoft Teams�helps us stay connected with teammates spread across the US. It's very user friendly so staying in touch is simple whether I am traveling, working from home or sitting in the office.

Cons

Pros

Being able to stay in touch with many of the people I needed to work with during my calls was something I really appreciated.

Cons

The part I liked least was that calls would sometimes drop for no apparent reason and I never understood why�it�happened.

Pros

Meeting scheduling across the company works very well with�Microsoft Teams and the range of customization options is something I have genuinely enjoyed.

Cons

The notification system can be pretty disruptive. Meeting reminders and calls matter but the chat notifications often feel inaccurate and unnecessary.

great value and support

Pros

Using�Microsoft Teams�is very easy and the auto-record option during live streams is one of the features I like most. It makes meetings with colleagues much more manageable and helps strengthen communication across the team. The subscription pricing also offers very good value since it's not overly expensive for what you get. Plus being able to schedule events directly in the platform is another big plus. On top of that their customer support team has been amazing and the overall setup really encourages better collaboration.

Cons

I honestly don't have many complaints about�it. The only issue I have noticed is that�it�can start to run a bit slowly when streaming for long periods of time.

reliable and better than Zoom

Pros

Right from the start,�Microsoft Teams Phone�felt very easy to use and noticeably better than Zoom or GTM. Plus it connects very well with the whole Microsoft ecosystem which makes everything better.

Cons

At the beginning, there were definitely some rough edges like weak call quality, no background options and a chat feature that felt awkward to use. Thankfully, those issues have since been fixed.

Pros

Bringing chat, meetings, file sharing, customization and collaboration together in one place is where�Microsoft Teams�really shines. Plus it keeps team communication fast and well organized and the integration with other Microsoft tools helps everything stay organized. The customization options are useful, it offers a great value for money and the customer support has been good. It's also user friendly and works well for project management.

Cons

Honestly I don't have any real complaints. Overall�it's a great piece of software as it is simple to use, cost-effective and dependable for day to day work.

connects well with other services

Pros

One of my favorite things about�Microsoft Teams�is how well it connects with other Microsoft services. Using Outlook alongside Teams works very well and that connection is brilliant. It lets me keep all my communication in one place while also staying aligned with my planner, including reminders for upcoming meetings.

Cons

The part I like least about�it�is the frequent version updates which can affect how certain systems function. Since updates are rolled out in phases some users get new features before others so you can end up waiting a while before a specific functionality becomes available.

microsoft integration works well

Pros

Staying in touch with coworkers and organizing meetings is very convenient with�Teams. The interface is very user friendly and the integration with other Microsoft products people already use makes everything work together nicely.

Cons

Getting�it�connected with other apps can be a bit tricky if you're not already familiar with how�it�works but once you figure�it�out, there is a lot you can do with�it.

helps centralizes decisions

Pros

Between team chats, topic-based channels and video meetings,�it�keeps different departments connected on an ongoing basis. From a Project Manager's perspective, it's also a very effective way to centralize decisions.

Cons

Once the number of channels and active conversations starts growing, the space can feel cluttered and�it�becomes pretty easy for important updates to get missed.

good for hassle free communication

Pros

Using�Microsoft Teams Phone�has been a really positive experience overall. It's simple to navigate, makes team communication hassle free and helps a lot with collaboration across the company. The customization options are also a big plus and the added app integrations make it even more useful for daily work.

Cons

Pricing is an issue because�it�can get expensive. I also don't understand why, as a Global Admin, there is no way to view messages between other employees on the account. Since that's something we're able to do in Outlook,�it�feels inconsistent that�it�doesn't offer the same capability.

replacing skype well

Pros

Little by little,�Microsoft Teams�has been replacing Skype and from what I have seen it's a user friendly tool built for team communication and collaboration. There aren't many customization features but overall it performs very well. The project management capabilities are amazing and the customer support is high quality too. The free version does have some time limits but once you pay for a plan, it feels well worth the cost.

Cons

One thing that leaves me unconvinced is how little difference I notice between Zoom and�it and coming from Microsoft, I expected to see a bit more innovation.
