useful features, complex design

Pros

Microsoft Teamscomes with plenty of useful features especially things like breakout rooms and polls which really help with user engagement and make the overall experience better.

Cons

At the same time, itis lacking whenitcomes to design and usability.Itdoesn't feel as easy to navigate or use compared with other platforms in this space.

Remote work made simple

Pros

Working remotely is much more easy withthisbecause meetings are simple to join, screen sharing works well for presentations and the chat feature is handy during calls. It also has great security which is reassuring.

Cons

One thing that occasionally trips me up is logging in when I switch between my work and personal accounts although that may be more of an account setup issue on my side than a problem withititself.

looks like built for everyone

Pros

Built with simplicity at its core, this productdelivers a smooth and easy experience for users at any skill level.

Cons

One thing that feels out of place is the message about reactions and emoji appearing with a specific skin tone. That really should be removed. I don't see whyitmatters in a workplace setting since features like that make more sense on social media or personal phones than in a professional tool.

Dependable for large meetings

Pros

A dependable workplace solution overall.Teamsmakes it simple for a large number of people to join meetings and it helps keep communication flowing with others across the organization.

Cons

every now and then microphone and camera problems come up. Connectivity can also be a hassle at times which is definitely frustrating and a headache.

good value but training headaches

Pros

Having one place to collaborate and share different parts of a project is very useful. I mean chat is far better than dealing with long email threads and reactions help keep conversations cleaner and less cluttered. Overallitoffers a great value since it's already included with our Microsoft 365 licensing.

Cons

Getting people to actually adoptithas been frustrating becauseitdoesn't feel very natural to a lot of our users. I also really dislike how often the interface gets tweaked and changed sinceitmakes user training harder to maintain as it's kind of like Walmart rearranging the store every month.

liked the mute option

Pros

Teamsmakes it very easy to stay in touch with my team throughout the day. The mute option in group chats is especially useful and I also appreciate how simple it is to share my screen and join video calls with people outside my organization.

Cons

Honestly I do not have any complaints aboutit.Itfits my day to day business needs well and I also enjoy using the mobile app on my phone.

Go to tool without a doubt

Pros

At our office,Microsoft Teamsis the go-to tool for team communication and it's very simple to use. It feels a lot like texting someone which makes it perfect when you need to ask a quick question while working or even while you're already on a call. Being able to see whether someone is active or out of the office is also very helpful.

Cons

Honestly I don't have any complaints aboutit. I really enjoy usingthis platform andit's been extremely useful in a work environment.

Pros

Having chat, video meetings and file sharing all built intoMicrosoft Teamsmade collaborating feel much more organized and efficient. It kept everything in one place which really helped teamwork run better.

Cons

from time to time there is some lag and the constant flow of notifications can get overwhelming. The interface also feels a bit cluttered at times which can makeitharder to navigate and stay focused.

a complete tool!

Pros

Being able to message, jump on a phone call or start a video chat all in one place makes communication very convenient.Ithelps me stay connected with my teammates and work with them much more efficiently.

Cons

This is not really a major downside but when chatting with someone outside the network, itlabels them as outside your organization and sometimes movesitout of the main screen into a smaller side conversation.

really loved the AI features

Pros

Between team communication, quick chat, screen sharing, phone calls, easy navigation and the added AI features, this platformbrings a lot of value to daily work.

Cons

There are still some performance hiccups now and then, my microphone does not always connect the wayitshould, the permissions setup can be complicated and the channel limits feel a bit too restrictive.

great choice for Microsoft orgs

Pros

Already being in a Microsoft-based organization,Teams Phonefeels like the natural choice for calls and video meetings because it connects nicely with the rest of the ecosystem. It works very well alongside Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and other Microsoft tools which makes daily work much more connected. For hybrid or fully remote companies, it's a strong collaboration platform and it's especially handy being able to work together on Excel sheets, PowerPoint decks and other files with teammates while a live meeting is happening. It's also very user friendly and overall feels like a dependable, full-featured communication tool for the workplace.

Cons

The biggest challenge comes up with people outside our organization or teams that don't use Microsoft since they can sometimes run into trouble joining our video meetings. We regularly have clients ask to meet on other platforms like Zoom or Google Meet because those are more familiar or already standard within their own companies. Even thoughitis a reliable option, itisn't used everywhere so external participants are sometimes less comfortable withit.

Useful and cost effective

Pros

Ithas been one of the most useful and cost-effective tools I have used. It keeps everyone on the team aligned with very little effort and the meeting quality is consistently excellent.

Cons

perfect for group setup

Pros

I find this software very useful for sharing documents and staying connected with staff. Also it is easy to navigate and setting up a group to manage projects and share files is simple too.

Cons

Nothing specific comes to mind.Itworks well as a central place to share work and communicate and I haven't run into any real issues withit.

translator feature is helpful

Pros

Our company relies onitas a central collaboration hub and with most people working from home, it's become an essential part of keeping everything moving. The connection with other Microsoft 365 tools is very helpful too. For example, it syncs with the Outlook calendar which makes scheduling calls across the team much more convenient. Another feature I appreciate is the translator since English isn't my first language and it helps me out when needed.

Cons

There isn't any major problem worth mentioning but I have noticed one small inconvenience. After uploading a video recording into a chat, the three-dot menu sometimes doesn't show the download option when I openiton another device. I usually have to press play on the recording first before the download option appears.

play a central role for us

Pros

Across our business,Microsoft Teamsplays a central role in daily communication. It helps everyone collaborate effectively and keeps projects and larger deadline-driven tasks moving with better coordination. Our IT team relies on it as the primary way to stay in touch about the work that needs to be handled and it also supports our changing shift schedule so we get a lot of value from using it.

Cons

Italready feels like a very complete product so this is more of a suggestion than a complaint. If I could improve one thing, I'd want to see a wider range of app integrations available withinitso the overall experience feels more connected and works better alongside other apps and services.

all in one office collaboration tool

Pros

HavingMicrosoft Teams Phonetied closely to Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook is a big advantage. It brings messaging, video meetings and file sharing into one place which means less jumping between apps during the day. That setup makes real-time collaboration much better and it helps avoid the usual I'll check and get back to you delays. As a result, conversations move faster and decisions can be made more quickly.

Cons

The downside is thatit's not as user friendly as some competing tools. To really get value fromit, you need to invest time in learning howitworks. Even after that, if the rest of the team isn't familiar withit, you can still lose time walking people through things like how SharePoint works.

helps keep work moving

Pros

Being able to meet throughTeamswithout needing to be in the same city has been very valuable. I can connect with clients and coworkers from just about anywhere which keeps work and communication moving without delays. It also does a good job of helping me keep track of meetings and ongoing conversations so when things get hectic, fewer details slip through the cracks.

Cons

There are times whenitfeels a bit glitchy especially during video calls. Notifications are not always consistent and when a lot of chats are active at once, itcan start to feel cluttered and harder to stay on top of everything.
