“everything I need in one place”
Pros
Everything being in one centralized organized hub for the entire phone system has been a big plus. We just finished setting it up and the process was very support. Their support team was helpful too and made it easier to get everything configured and running properly.
Cons
My biggest frustration is that some parts of the platform still live in the old system while others are in the newer design. I really wish everything were combined into a single website so I wouldn't have to jump over to ACE in a separate tab or use a different admin portal.

“reliable calling function”
Pros
It was easy to set this up and our teams were able to start using direct dials and route inbound calls through queues almost right away. The admin side is simple to manage, support gets back to you quickly and the overall value is hard to beat.
Cons
I'd still like to see stronger reporting available right out of the box even though the current options are useful. There's also a cap on how many recipients can be included on a scheduled report and that feels like a simple thing they could improve.

“poor video quality”
Pros
Getting calls, voicemails and text messages to my work number through the mobile app has worked really well. That part has been going well for me and for a lot of our users too.
Cons
At the start they told us we'd be getting a white label Zoom experience through RingCentral Meetings. What they failed to mention was that they were in a legal dispute with Zoom and close to the end of that agreement. Because of that, we ended up stuck with RingCentral Meetings for a while and the video quality and ongoing issues were consistently awful. In the end, we had to move over to Teams and rely on their plugin there just to get around those problems.

“Helpful remote communication”
Pros
Having RingEX available on both desktop and mobile has given our staff a lot more flexibility than being tied to traditional desk phones. We can handle calls, voicemails, texting and day to day communication from wherever we are which is especially useful in a busy medical practice. Tools like call routing, voicemail access and remote communication have been genuinely helpful and once the team gets comfortable with the platform, it really improves accessibility and keeps communication moving more efficiently across departments.
Cons
Getting everything up and running at the beginning was not the simplest process, particularly coming from an older phone system. We ran into a few problems with call routing, voicemail forwarding, outdated menu options and the learning curve for staff during the rollout. When configuration issues come up, resolving them can take extra time and coordination so the implementation phase definitely required patience.

“excellent support team”
Pros
I've had virtually no outages and this phone system hardly ever gets marked as spam which was a constant problem with my previous provider. Getting everything up and running with my current CRM was very simple and when an update created a problem, the support team was quick to respond and very helpful. On top of that it's been the most affordable option I came across.
Cons
Honestly, there's not much to complain about. If I had to point out anything, I've noticed a slight delay once or twice though that may have been related to my internet connection.

“be careful of hidden fees”
Pros
Basic calling does what it is supposed to do but most of the extra features take more setup and come with added costs. That is really the only positive point.
Cons
The 10DLC instructions were misleading, there was not enough transparency upfront and important SMS capabilities ended up needing extra paid add ons that were never clearly explained during the sales process. On top of that support has been slow and inconsistent.

“make calls and fax from one number”
Pros
Its super convenient to just have one phone number for everything since I don't have to keep switching between different numbers. Being able to receive faxes as well is a big plus and I also appreciate that it lets me include multiple recipients when I send a fax.
Cons
It does act up from time to time when I'm trying to receive return calls. On top of that it will sometimes default to the company's main number instead of my personal number which makes communication more awkward than it should be.

Pros

“reliable messaging feature”
Pros
Having this on my phone has been a huge plus because I can call customers directly from my cell without any hassle. I can also message our VA in the Philippines from either my phone or my computer and it's something we rely on every single day. Another big benefit is being able to record customer calls which really helps when we need proof in case any issue comes up. The pricing has been very reasonable and adding new numbers only costs a small amount. On top of that the app is simple to navigate and makes blocking spam calls very convenient.
Cons
We did run into a few setup problems at the beginning but thankfully most of that has already been resolved. Besides that I can't think of anything to add here.

“helpful integrations”
Pros
Getting RingEX up and running is pretty simple and there are several add on options available, including free ones and a few low cost choices that can help improve your phone system. It also connects well with tools like email and makes communication convenient.
Cons
Any time you ask about even a small change to your account, the sales team tends to contact you repeatedly.

“handy call transfers”
Pros
Being able to transfer calls to anyone in the company just by searching for their name is incredibly convenient. Having a second phone right on my computer instead of relying on a physical desk phone has also been really helpful.
Cons
There have been occasions when the app glitched and I didn't get an incoming call. I've also had a few calls drop at random although that may have been caused by internet issues.

“clean interface”
Pros
The layout feels clean so it's simple to navigate. The mobile app also stays consistently active and I haven't had issues with missed calls or notifications.
Cons
I'm really happy with the audio quality and the softphone features but the video side of meetings could still be better. It seems capped around 720p, while some competing platforms already offer 4K.

“useful call tracking features”
Pros
One feature that really stands out in RingEX is being able to see how many calls were made. I also appreciate the option to disposition each call since it helps me keep track of whether I actually reached the person or not.
Cons
Using RingEX on my work computer I consistently noticed some lag during calls. That was an ongoing issue for me whenever I used it on that machine.

“Easy to use”
Pros
Using RingEX has been really easy to use. The interface is user friendly so making phone calls and sending faxes is very simple and the pricing structure gives our business phones excellent value.
Cons
An issue I ran into was that the voicemail voice to text transcriptions sent to my email were not always accurate which caused a few misunderstandings with clients. It's much better to listen to each voicemail yourself instead of depending entirely on the transcription.

“broad integration options”
Pros
Overall it's a solid piece of software. It's dependable, the audio quality is consistently good and it connects with most programs which makes it useful across different workflows.
Cons
The one program it has difficult integrating with was HubSpot. It doesn't seem to make proper use of the API HubSpot provides and that ends up creating a pretty frustrating experience.

Pros
It has been a really useful phone system for our business especially for handling leads and keeping our staff connected and organized.
Cons

“caller ID pop ups are fantastic”
Pros
Those desktop notifications have made a huge difference in the way we handle customer calls. The instant caller ID pop ups let us answer proactively especially when it's someone we've been trying to connect with which cuts down a lot on frustrating phone tag. The built in texting is also really helpful and keeps communication flowing with customers without having to switch tools.
Cons
One thing I'd still like to see improved is the call transcription process for future reference. There are times when a customer agrees to a charge or service and later says they were never told the cost. It would be much better if transcription happened more automatically, with fewer steps required to turn it on.
