“Amazing for email marketing”
Pros
I rely on it every day, primarily for our email marketing campaigns. After trying other platforms such as Mailchimp, Mailerlite and Zoho, I can say EngageBay provides nearly all the same capabilities while being considerably more affordable. Their customer support is excellent, they respond fast and address our needs promptly. The UI feels very user-friendly and setup plus migration from our previous tool was simple. We also use their Zapier integration regularly.
Cons
There are still some features missing when compared with other email marketing platforms but I'm optimistic they'll develop and roll out those capabilities in the near future.

“Affordable, flexible and easy to use”
Pros
I find it to be a fantastic solution and a practical alternative to the many other products available on the market. I also think it is affordable, flexible and very easy to use.
Cons
I've noticed a few cluttered areas, such as setting up email sequences, building responsive landing pages and generating advanced reports. The team really needs to improve these features.

Really impressed that the platform lets me handle my deals, the entire sales pipeline while tying in email automations for each deal all in one place. It's a game-changer because it significantly cuts down the administrative workload for my sales and account management teams, saving us a huge amount of time and effort.
Cons
In my experience the learning curve is fairly steep. Email sync is only available on the Sales Pro plan, whereas I think it should have been included in the basic plan. Also, their calendar and invitation automation feels less polished than what you get with Calendly.

“outdated feel and confusing branding”
Pros
This all-in-one CRM has been excellent for keeping everything under one roof, it makes communicating with customers simple and helps me expand our reach so that our monthly marketing steadily grows and keeps customers engaged.
Cons
I would prefer the interface to feel a little more contemporary, additionally, the platform's name seems rather long-winded and when I bring it up in conversation people sometimes get confused about what the service actually offers which makes explaining it awkward and frustrating.

Pros
It's one of the simplest and most effective tools for running marketing and sales campaigns. EngageBay helped me organize both our sales and marketing workflows. Their support team was consistently helpful and the onboarding experience felt truly excellent.
Cons
Overall it offers all the CRM features I need, however, I would like to see stronger social analytics and reporting tools added.

“Improved quickly”

Back in August of 2018 I first stumbled onto EngageBay amidst the Black Friday hullabaloo that year. At first glance it seemed like it had real potential but it wasn't meeting my needs right away. I signed up for a free account and would just check in from time to time to see how it was shaping up. Over a surprisingly short period I was amazed at the strides they made and how quickly features improved. I took another look in the first quarter of 2020 when times were difficult and was grateful to find that EngageBay had grown sophisticated enough to handle my marketing requirements. I migrated my processes gradually and within a few months I was seeing good results. I'm really glad I switched over, I've ended up with a system that feels top-notch but costs me a great deal less than what I used to pay.
Cons
I took the time to explore it's features in depth so I could get the most out of it. What I've noticed throughout my usage is that new capabilities often get released faster than the accompanying documentation is updated. There have even been occasions where I couldn't find any documentation for a feature at all. Because EngageBay is pretty user-friendly I can usually work things out on my own but I would really appreciate immediate, clear guides so I can start using new tools right away without trial and error. It would also be helpful if there were a single place where I could see a list of newly released features and updates. As it stands I only discover these changes by stumbling upon them by accident or by asking support directly and that can be frustrating when I'm trying to move quickly.

“Quick responses from team”
Pros
I've recently moved up to the Growth plan so I'm still getting familiar with everything. That said the customer support team's quick responses have really stood out to me, that speaks volumes. From what I've tried so far, setup has been pretty simple and the features I've used behave exactly as expected.
Cons
It's still early days so I don't have any complaints yet, nothing has really stood out as a problem so far.

Pros
What I find most helpful is how user-friendly the platform is and how fantastic the customer support proves to be. Whenever I need help, their team is literally a click away and they respond really fast. On top of that, the automations and workflows are something I genuinely appreciate because they simplify so many of my daily tasks and make work much easier.
Cons
One drawback I've noticed is the lack of in-depth reporting features which are essential for running a business effectively.

We have a full-featured suite at a great price. We're not paying for extras. It manages our large email volume thoroughly and support is excellent!
Cons
I find its link-tracking capabilities weak. I can't filter contacts based on which links they've clicked so it's difficult to compile even a list of repeat clickers.

“Perfect fit for our startup”

We're a startup and before we switched on any outreach or started paying for ads, we wanted all of our automation and email sequences fully ready to go. I tried Pipedrive and a few other CRMs and although many had similar features, they felt too complicated, the automation pieces came across as an afterthought bolted onto what was mainly customer management, not the Marketing Machine we actually needed. So far EngageBay has helped us tidy up and organize our sales campaigns and the support team was incredibly helpful getting everything configured during onboarding, even helping out before we officially subscribed. I would definitely recommend it today.
Cons
I've been told the team is already addressing the EngageBay calendar widget and appointment features as part of their current roadmap, including things like hidden fields so I can track where contacts who book time are coming from as a lead source. There are some workarounds we can use in the meantime but I'm personally looking forward to those updates because tighter integration would save us time and make scheduling much smoother.

I really like that the platform lets me store unlimited contacts and gives me the ability to send up to 50,000 emails each month. On top of that, I can buy extra email credits if I ever need to push out more campaigns. This is only one aspect of the All-in-one suite subscription. It comes with several different modules, Marketing, Sales, Service and Livechat, where you can do a lot of work. Each module offers a huge range of features that I can customize and apply in ways that match my company's needs.
Cons
One thing that bothers me about it is that the All-in-one suite doesn't actually include every capability. For example, there's a new, very useful website activity tracking feature but it's offered as an add-on rather than being part of the standard package. I don't like that this functionality isn't bundled in and EngageBay charges extra to enable that feature.

There are so many useful features packed into this product and their customer support has been superb. To me, it's probably the best option I've tried so far.
Cons

“Useful analytics”
Pros
One feature I really appreciate about it is that I can build my contact list simply by importing a CSV file. I'm also able to set up Marketing Campaigns and keep an eye on them in real time. The Dashboard analytics are particularly handy, giving me clear data on sent messages compared to bounces, spam reports and unsubscribes.
Cons
Overall it's proven very helpful to me so far and I haven't found anything I dislike.
