Incredible Live Chat feature

Pros

We added it to our website to centralize every customer's data and incoming queries. By integrating it, we've made smooth, reliable connections with people visiting our site which helps us follow up quickly and send out newsletters or ads without fuss. On top of that, it's Live Chat lets us talk to customers in real time and their support team responds fast often resolving things within seconds. Honestly it's simply the best!

Cons

I found it extremely helpful throughout the integration process so I didn't experience any issues or delays at all.

Can import bulk contacts

Pros

One of the key features I needed was the ability to create email sequences. Having used a number of different CRM systems, I found the bulk upload tool here to be quite good. Where other platforms made me upload only about 50 contacts at a time which took forever, I was able to import 500 contacts at once in EngageBay in just a few minutes.

Cons

At times, setting up the email sequences was a bit tricky for me and I ran into the frustrating limitation that I couldn't change the order of emails once a sequence had been created.

Pros

I've been relying on it for more than three years because it delivers an all-in-one platform covering every aspect of our digital marketing, from email campaigns and social media scheduling to contact management (CRM) and more. I'm completely satisfied and I also find their customer support to be consistently responsive.

Cons

Honestly I can't think of anything to dislike about EngageBay, for the time being it fulfills all of my needs and I have no issues to report.

What I appreciate most is its user interface, it's really smooth and simple to get around. I also love the smart lists feature, it's fantastic for automatically building lists that match the criteria I set.

Cons

impressive functionality

Pros

I like its functionality, it handles everything I need, from tagging and organizing my contacts to sending out emails. Their customer service is fantastic, consistently attentive and genuinely helpful and I find them truly reliable.

Cons

I found the learning curve for a new platform plus the sheer amount of effort required to migrate everything from one system to another quite daunting.

Convenient to add tags to contacts

Pros

I'm really impressed by how simple this CRM is, the layout of features is clear and user-friendly so anyone can pick it up quickly. I also appreciate how simple it is to add tags to contacts, that tagging system makes it much easier for me to separate and find people when I need them.

Cons

For my needs, it contains most of the tools I use but I've noticed some features need better optimization, bulk actions, in particular, can be slow and occasionally take a long time to complete.

Helped me hit my goals

Pros

Having used this since 2023 (about ten months), I've relied on the built-in landing pages and templates for my Broadcast needs, Email, SMS, Sequences and Automation. These ready-made assets have really helped me hit my goals. Another big plus I noticed is how simple it is to use and to connect or integrate accounts. I implemented their templates and got nearly every expected result and I was pleasantly surprised they offer live chat support even for free users.

Cons

I'd appreciate it if they added Gantt-style charts similar to teamwork.com because I think those would make scheduling tasks much easier.

Helpful chat support

Pros

Personally, what stands out most about EngageBay is how user-friendly the interface is, it makes building and running automations and putting marketing plans into action really simple. I use the platform almost every day and run into hiccups fairly often but their chat support responds quickly and has been genuinely helpful. I also hooked it up to Twilio's SendGrid to handle outbound emails which significantly reduced how much I'm spending on email delivery costs.

Cons

There's a shortage of certain filtering options within the smart lists and automation tools that makes sorting leads more complex than it should be. I've already passed this feedback along to the backend team and they're checking whether those filters can be developed and added.

A major plus with EngageBay is how approachable the interface is. Moving around the system feels effortless, even if you don't have much technical background. The platform didn't take long to learn which lets me put my energy into the things that count, developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers. Honestly what stands out is the same friendly interface I mentioned earlier. Browsing the different areas of the app is smooth and even teammates who aren't tech-savvy pick it up quickly. The clear design keeps me from feeling overwhelmed and gives me time to focus on building customer connections in every stage of engagement.

Cons

I find the biggest drawback with EngageBay is that you really need to use it regularly, I don't spend enough time in the platform to uncover and become comfortable with all of its capabilities so some features remain unfamiliar to me.

Unreliable Email sequence campaigns

Pros

I rely on the platform's basic CRM and email marketing features and I found them fairly simple and direct to set up.

Cons

Email sequence campaigns don't run reliably, there are too many toggles that are easy for me to accidentally flip and break a sequence and it takes far too many clicks to get things started.

Being a sales recruiter, I find this CRM packed with features like sales, marketing and even a service desk. What I appreciate is how simple the platform feels, no specialized training was necessary for me to start using it.
