“Fully Featured Marketing Automation Platform Targeted at Enterprise Companies
Pros
Now under the Adobe umbrella Marketo Engage seamlessly integrates with the Adobe ecosystem. This is especially advantageous for companies already using Adobe products as Marketo integrates smoothly with AEM and other platforms. The user interface is clean and well-designed making it easy to navigate and locate features and functionalities. Marketo Engage's alignment with the Adobe ecosystem and its intuitive UI make it a valuable tool for companies seeking a comprehensive marketing solution.
Cons
The platform exhibits occasional slowness leading to frustration especially noticeable in the campaign creation sections and while the UI is well-designed it tends to get cluttered when multiple modules are in use simultaneously.

“I think it's a tool that has enough features to power marketing activities.
Pros
Marketo Engage offers an intuitive experience even for users with limited marketing expertise. Its strong integration with Salesforce creates synergies between the two platforms. The ability to connect with other systems through Webhook adds flexibility and Adobe's comprehensive manual provides sufficient guidance.
Cons
The search functionality on Marketo is limited making it challenging to locate specific content. Enhancing this aspect would greatly benefit user experience.

“Insightful but outdated
Pros
I can organize my campaigns into folders just the way I want. The analytics are great for getting clear insights and the support team is fantastic and they always help me fix even the trickiest problems.
Cons
Overall, the interface comes across as rather dated and could definitely use a design overhaul. I've noticed the app can be slow at times which gets on my nerves. A few updates feel superficial and don't add much and coordinating customer support help can sometimes be a real headache for me.

“Best data dashboard
Pros
Being a digital marketer, the analytics and data-mining features have seriously simplified my day-to-day work. Now everything feels more coordinated and I can organize my datasets without the constant headaches I used to face. The interface is very interactive , honestly one of the most user-friendly platforms I've used in this space. This suite genuinely elevates the way I extract marketing insights and in my experience it's rare to find another solution in the industry that matches it.
Cons
Report customization could be stronger , I'd like the option to tailor templates and layouts more to my needs. There's also room for extra tools that help interpret data and alternative visualization options to present findings differently. On top of that, I find request processing times are slower than I prefer and would appreciate performance improvements.

“good choice for business growth
Pros
As a B2B marketer, the detailed performance tracking is what really grabbed my attention. What I value most is how the suite of interconnected apps easyly collaborates to refine user journeys across multiple channels and that cohesion has been instrumental in driving our conversion funnel forward.
Cons
getting up to speed requires a lot more time and effort than with other, easier-to-learn platforms. Integrating with tools outside the Adobe ecosystem is awkward and lacking solid support which makes it difficult for me to assemble a full, end-to-end view of the customer journey.

“Great for work but slow app
Pros
I'd readily recommend this platform for small to medium enterprises and larger organizations. The work management tools really stand out to me, together with the cloud solutions and several other capabilities that make it worthwhile.
Cons
Hopefully, I'll see more advanced reporting options for detailed analytics and the mobile app could be more responsive during peak usage hours.

“awsome B2B automation platform
Pros
For handling multiple regions within a single instance, I find it incredibly simple here, unlike my experience with Pardot where I had to buy special plans for each business unit and they basically behaved like separate systems. That simplicity makes scaling our marketing globally far easier to manage.
Cons
However, the cross-workspace reporting is basically non-existent , I end up managing each region on its own, which turns monitoring global campaigns into a headache. Overall I find Marketo's reporting lacking, there aren't many useful reports you can pull and whenever I finally assemble something it loads painfully slowly. I tried relying on the revenue cycler to get email metrics but it's restrictive and I can't use smart lists or segments to properly dig into audience subsets the way I need.

“good for making content
Pros
the features are ideal for creating highly interactive content that lets us connect with customers directly inside the platform. I can deliver that content via personalized interactions powered by Adobe's technology. The interface is fantastic for email marketing, offering broad functionality and simple integration with most major CRM and conferencing platforms which results in a easy unified experience.
Cons
What frustrates me is that the software doesn't support many of the app integrations I need. It also really annoys me when images in emails end up blurry and lose their original quality. Trying to tweak the pre-built email templates can be fiddly when I'm hunting for pixel-perfect results. On top of that, applying multiple filters fragments the data and makes everything confusing to work with.

“Excellent Marketing Solution
Pros
I'm a big fan of the email editor and it's very user-friendly, especially once I have well-designed templates already set up to use.
Cons
Honestly, I find the landing page editor gets quite sluggish when I have tons of editable zones open and I really wish they'd make the custom guided editor behave more like their email editor , you know with sensible drag-and-drop functionality that actually works.

“Impressive tech with poor integrations
Pros
What I really love about this platform is how it kickstarts my creativity when I'm crafting content , it provides me with solid ideas and helps me turn those concepts into polished, high-quality materials. Its personalized technology features impress me and clearly outperform what competitors are offering in the market.
Cons
It acks several useful features I expect. For example, whenever I insert images into newsletters they become blurry and the visual quality drops dramatically, which is disappointing. On top of that, it doesn't integrate with other software platforms and that limitation really holds me back.

“Great data with messy screen
Pros
Real-time data features are very useful for shaping strategy. In my work with Adobe Analytics, this has been the most effective tool I've used so far , it helps me make timely, well-informed decisions when it counts.
Cons
When I first start using it, the interface comes across as clunky and overwhelming. I'd love to see a redesign that brings more alignment and reduces the clutter , at the moment everything seems scattered and frustrating to use.

“good tool but needs manpower
Pros
I have the flexibility to build exactly what I need for my marketing campaigns, whether that means configuring automated workflows, putting together thoughtful email sequences or creating tailored reports that match my strategy and audience targeting.
Cons
For smaller teams like mine, it requires at least three people to manage properly which feels like a lot, I also find the price to be on the high side.

“Marketo helps us engage customers at the right time
Pros
Marketo is instrumental in nurturing potential customers who are not actively in a buying cycle ensuring our brand remains top of mind when they have the budget for our solutions.
Cons
Initial familiarity with Marketo can pose challenges but with adequate training and instructional videos users can quickly grasp its functionalities.

“Looks clean !!
Pros
I love the tidy layout and how simple it is to read every piece of information shown. Using this tool every day has become fun and it reliably helps me achieve my monthly KPIs without any misses.
Cons
Tracking what I need is a issue. We have too many different tools, some in Salesforce, some in other places and Marketo just gets lost in the crowd. Also, it's often hard to pinpoint exactly what piece of content or which campaign a person interacted with. This makes it very difficult to track their interest and activity.

“Clean interface with confusing filters
Pros
the interface is very interactive and clean and there's no extra clutter getting in the way. I also find this tool very powerful on the analytics side, letting me dig deeply into customer segments and monitor every stage of my workflows.
Cons
Sometimes editing the built-in email templates so they fit my needs turns out to be rather fiddly. Also, whenever I'm applying several filters for segmenting data, the setup becomes muddled and I often end up feeling disoriented in the process.

“Makes great content
Pros
it's incredibly effective at crafting compelling content that genuinely connects with my audience. I appreciate the personalized delivery system because it makes reaching people through customized touchpoints simple and Adobe's underlying technology significantly enriches the overall experience.
Cons
My primary complaint is the limited options for integrating with other software platforms, that restriction has been a real pain. I also get frustrated when images are compressed and lose their crispness after I add them to newsletters , they often appear noticeably blurry compared to the original files.

“Amazing tool for marketing automation!
Pros
Marketo stands out with its excellent integration capabilities with Salesforce and other CRM systems. Building and analyzing email campaigns and user forms is a breeze while lead management and scoring are effectively handled by the platform.
Cons
A more accommodating pricing model for startups is needed. While the analytics and reporting are decent there is room for improvement to make them more robust.

“Powerful and Effective
Pros
I was impressed by the level of detail I could delve into when analyzing lead sources easily tracing the URL to identify the exact origin. Adjusting landing page or email template code was also straightforward.
Cons
Affordability is a concern for many companies due to high pricing. Support quality declined after being transferred overseas affecting user satisfaction.
