“Connects workflows across departments”

Pros

It has been excellent for bringing different parts of the business together. With finance, procurement, reporting and project related work all handled in a single system, it saves a lot of time since there's no need to jump between multiple platforms to gather the right information. The dashboards provide strong visibility, reporting is flexible and cloud access makes it convenient for users to review activity remotely.

Cons

If I could change one thing, it would be the UI. Certain sections feel overdue for an update and too many tasks take far more clicks than they should. The initial setup is also quite time consuming and even small changes can end up taking longer than expected.

Pros

The platform worked well for our company operations from what I've seen. It keeps all the key information in one place, centralizes day to day activities and helps everything stay more organized on a daily basis.

Pros

Has opened up efficiencies that create real opportunities to gain economies of scale. Since it was designed with large businesses in mind, it gives us plenty of room to grow at an incredible pace while still keeping operations highly efficient.

Cons

Getting everything set up can feel pretty challenging and even a little overwhelming because the platform is so powerful. The upfront cost might seem high at first but it more than pays for itself over time.

Pros

NetSuite has turned into a core system for running our manufacturing and distribution operations. The flexibility of the platform, along with strong reporting, saved searches, workflows and reliable integration with EDI and other third party apps, has made a noticeable difference in efficiency, visibility and automation across several departments.

Cons

There's still a pretty steep learning curve, particularly when it comes to advanced administration and customization. Certain features need technical know how and the licensing or installation costs can be a real factor for smaller organizations.

Pros

Across our international subsidiaries this ERP has done an impressive job of bringing everything together in one place while handling multi-currency tracking without issues. The auditing and billing tracking tools also give us a lot of confidence since they help remove the risk of mistakes when we redistribute royalties to our musicians.

Cons

Interface feels very rigid which is a sharp mismatch with the creative world we work in. On top of that changing reports or building custom workflows takes advanced internal technical knowledge so I end up relying on our IT team or paid support even for small process adjustments.

Pros

Its financial consolidation capabilities are incredibly effective. It has become the central hub for our large state based accounts, budget allocations and business metrics across multiple utility companies. The flexibility around custom reporting, along with audit readiness tracking, makes it much easier to stay on top of regulatory reporting requirements.

Cons

The UI feels outdated which makes daily data entry frustrating for team members who aren't very technical. Setting up custom workflows for government compliance also took a lot of effort and we had to rely on expensive consultants or fairly complex scripting to get it working the way we needed.

One of the best parts is how customizable the dashboards are which makes it simple to keep an eye on real time performance. It also helps cut out duplicated data entry which saves time and reduces unnecessary work.

Cons

Pricing is definitely on the expensive side, with no clear fixed structure and extra charges that can add up quickly. Customer support also feels limited when help is needed.

Pros

I've had a really positive experience with this software so far. The platform is very user friendly, the customer service team has been quite helpful and there are very few bugs or issues which is exactly what you would expect at this price point.

Cons

It's quite expensive for smaller businesses and it really feels better suited to larger companies with bigger payrolls and higher sales volume.

“Efficient cloud ERP for global teams”

Pros

A cloud based ERP which gives users a full global view of their business. It makes it simple to handle accounting, inventory and CRM all in one place. The real time reporting is especially valuable for management and it fits international companies very well thanks to features like multi-currency and multi-site support.

Cons

Customization usually needs technical knowledge and the interface could be more user friendly for everyday use.

“faster ordering and invoicing”

Pros

Made ordering and invoicing really convenient. Typing the percentage sign along with the item code to auto-fill products saved a lot of time espeically when entering bulk orders and made the whole process more efficient. It was also helpful that orders could be printed right away which made it easier to track everything that had been entered. As time went on, the program seemed to recognize the items we ordered most often and would auto-populate those too which sped up order entry even more.

Cons

One thing that was frustrating was not always being able to tell when someone else had changed an order or why the change was made. If a quantity got updated, for instance, there usually was not a clear note or explanation attached to it. Because of that, I often felt like I needed to print the order as soon as I entered it so I would have a record in case something was changed afterward.

“Easy to use”

Pros

Working in it felt very easy. The system had everything I needed and it was simple to locate whatever I was looking for. The links built into the orders also made moving around much quicker and more convenient.

Cons

I didn't run into any problems with it. I never had trouble finding what I needed or using the system.

Pretty much everything about it has been excellent. It feels like a very complete system, packed with useful features and built to make day to day work much simpler.

Cons

At this point I really don't have any complaints.

Pros

It can be customized to fit almost any business setup. For the amount of features included, the yearly price feels fairly reasonable.

Cons

Using it in a manufacturing environment has been more challenging than expected. In some ways, it tries to do too much and that creates unnecessary complexity. There are often multiple ways to complete one task and the role based structure makes that even more confusing since different users may follow entirely different paths to get the same result. Reporting is also frustrating because you can find several fields with the exact same name yet many of them return nothing useful. There are plenty of training videos available but most of them focus on the standard version of the software and many no longer match the current interface.

Covers a lot when it comes to finance operations, from standardizing financial data to connecting the ERP with banking, tax and accounting systems. It also helps map the main data sources, supports financial processes and expense management and includes AI built into the ERP for smarter automation of financial tasks. On top of that the interface is very user friendly which makes it much easier to use.

Helps our team handle account payments, stay on top of budgeting goals and manage accounting data more effectively. There haven't been many bugs or technical problems and customer support is available whenever something needs attention.

Cons

At times, the system runs a little slowly and the approval workflow can be hard to follow. Email notifications also don't always come through as expected.

“A renowned platform”

Pros

We first moved our financial operations to this because it is a well known platform and meant we would not need to keep maintaining a financial structure inside our internal ERP. Over time though, we uncovered several other capabilities that ended up benefiting us as well and with the connection to LLMs, they significantly expanded the insights available to leadership when making business decisions.

Cons

There are still some features that even with premium support and discussions with Oracle specialists, are widely acknowledged as being wrong or at least different from standard market practices. Even so, those fixes still do not make it into the backlog for future updates.

Pros

Has been a great addittion to my workflow and recently was able to identify opportunities inside the platform that I still haven't been using even though I already had access to them. That's going to help organize and speed up my day to day work even more.

Cons

I dont have anything negative to say, it met all of my expectations. There are still a few tools we don't currently have access to but we'll look into that possibility to improve productivity at work.

Pros

Getting comfortable with it as an end user doesn't take long and the browser-based interface is convenient to work in. The screen forms are highly customizable and it covers standard accounting and finance processes really well.

Cons

Missing a few native business functions espeically around sales contract and agreement management. Some workflows can also feel a bit slow compared with the experience of traditional desktop ERP applications.

It's very easy to use so even someone who's new to this area can get comfortable with it in a very practical and fast way.

Cons

It has its own particularities but overall there isnt anything negative to point out. I believe that when the system is purchased and installed properly, the whole process flows well.

Connecting with others, getting fresh ideas around innovation and seeing how NetSuite can improve and organuze business processes were the parts I enjoyed most.

One issue I have is that requests within the system are not linked properly.
