real time dashboards that deliver

Pros

I really like the real time reporting and dashboards in this software. There's no need to wait around for manual reports or spend time matching numbers across different systems. You can view performance, cash flow and KPIs right away which helps make decisions quicker and with better confidence.

Cons

Users mention slow page loading or lag, particularly when working with large datasets or more complex workflows.

all in one business hub

Pros

Everything you need being in one platform is a big plus. It covers accounting, inventory, sales and customer information in a single system which helps keep work quicker and much more organized. Another thing I appreciate is that it's cloud based so it can be accessed anytime and from anywhere.

Cons

Certain reports are a bit difficult to work with and don't feel very user friendly. It can also take a while to generate the data needed which ends up slowing tasks down. I've also seen some transactions lag or even time out espeically when the system is under heavy use or processing large amounts of data.

innovative AI connectors

Pros

It keeps adding really useful features espeically the new AI connectors and matching capabilities. The additions around reconciliation and consignment also make it clear they are paying attention to customer feedback and continuing to improve the platform in practical ways.

Cons

Matching capabilities still need a bit more time to be properly tested. The presentation also didn't mention OCR and I'm still hoping to see stronger matching options for invoices, purchase orders and deliveries.

strong customization options

Pros

Having finance, inventory and purchasing all in one platform is what I appreciate most. The customization options are also a big plus since a lot can be modified to your specific needs without needing heavy coding.

Cons

Performance can be an issue at times because some pages load slowly espeically when running saved searches.

Powerful cloud ERP visibility

Pros

Lets you have everything in one cloud based system which made a big difference to the way we work. It brings financials, operational data and reporting together in one place and the platform is highly configurable. The role-based access, built in workflows and SuiteAnalytics features make it possible to adapt processes without needing a lot of custom development. Reliability has also been a big plus and the real time visibility into transactions is especially valuable for organizations that are growing.

Cons

At the admin level configuration can be a bit complicated espeically for teams that do not already have NetSuite experience. Areas like permissions, workflow logic and SuiteApp updates take more technical knowledge than you might expect. Documentation around customizations could also be better and some changes still end up requiring outside consultants or support partners.

horrible experience

Pros

Hasn't delivered or demonstrated anything I'd consider acceptable. Everything about it has been terrible.

Cons

I'm not even sure where to start. Our experience with the installation team has been one of the most frustrating and expensive mistakes our company has made. Right from the beginning, it was obvious they had no real interest in learning how our business actually works. They relied on a one size fits all approach and made no effort to adapt the system to our more complex processes. Anytime we walked them through workflows that didn't match their standard setup, they reacted like they couldn't grasp what we were saying. Anything beyond very basic processes seemed completely out of their depth. The business services team was just as disappointing. For a platform that charges enterprise level pricing, the lack of knowledge and practical expertise is shocking. We kept getting passed to consultants who seemed to have very little real installation experience and trying to get clear answers from them was exhausting. The worst part was a runaway process that completely blocked our financial close. Something that should have taken a few hours to fix dragged on for more than a month. More than a month. We were unable to close our books, the finance team was in complete disarray, leadership was furious and NetSuite's team just kept spinning in circles without resolving anything. The damage from that one failure alone was huge. If your company has anything more than the most basic processes, I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere. The difference between what NetSuite sells during the sales process and what its support team actually provide is enormous. We paid a premium price and got a deeply subpar experience. One star feels generous.

too expensive for small businesses

Pros

Accounting, financials, inventory and reporting all in one system makes a big difference because there is no need to jump between separate tools. The real time dashboards and reports are genuinely useful when you need a quick snapshot of how the business is performing. It is also a strong option for growing companies since it scales well over time. Once the setup is done properly, it is capable of managing quite complex business processes.

Cons

Getting started can be challenging because it is fairly complex and not very welcoming for beginners. Parts of the interface feel outdated and there is definitely a learning curve before it starts to feel comfortable. The customization options are powerful but they can also be confusing without the right training or support in place. On top of that the pricing can be steep espeically for smaller businesses.

real time inventory control win

Pros

Real time visibility into inventory is a big advantage. I can see exactly what's in stock, where it's located and how it's moving across every location as it happens. The automation also saves a lot of time and cuts down on errors so there's less manual work and far fewer spreadsheets to deal with. Another major benefit is multi-location management espeically being able to move stock between locations efficiently.

Cons

The downside is the cost which can feel pretty high for smaller businesses. There's also a fairly steep learning curve and the setup process can get complicated. For some companies, it may even feel like more system than they actually need, with features that may never end up being used.

everything you need in one place

Pros

Finance, CRM and inventory being together in one place has been a major advantage for us. Keeping everything in one system makes reporting much better and helps maintain consistent data across different departments. The customizable dashboards are also quite handy and add a lot of value.

Cons

Interface does feel somewhat outdated and a little crowded at times. Certain reports or settings can take longer to track down than expected and moving between modules is not always as user friendly as it could be. It is not a major issue but there is definitely room for improvement.

flexible setup with strong potential

Pros

The platform is really flexible when it comes to letting you build a custom solution that suits your business. It gives organizations the ability to shape systems, processes and workflows around their specific goals instead of forcing everything into a rigid one size fits all model. Because it can be adjusted to fit changing requirements, connect with existing tools and grow along with the business, it supports both long term scalability and day to day efficiency. That kind of adaptability also leaves room for innovation since teams can test, refine and improve how they work without being boxed in by major limitations. In the end, it helps businesses stay competitive, react faster to market changes and offer more custom experiences to customers.

Cons

Takes a long time for enhancements and new features to be added. Requested updates or improvements are not always rolled out quickly which can slow operations and make it harder to respond to changing business needs in a timely way. That delay can be frustrating when users are depending on system improvements to boost efficiency or solve specific operational issues. On top of that reporting can be difficult to set up without technical expertise and the system can occasionally slow down when working with large volumes of data.

visibility that scales

Pros

Having finance, CRM and operations together in a single system made a big difference. Its helped organize our workflows and the fact that everything lives in one place made the data feel much more consistent and dependable. The real time reporting was especially useful for making quicker decisions and the platform's scalability gave us confidence as the business continued to grow.

Cons

Promising AI roadmap

Pros

The updates on the upcoming AI enhancements were genuinely informative and the option to integrate with Copilot is a very welcome addition.

Cons

Nothing really stood out as a downside from today's event though it would be even better to see more automated reconciliations, like bank reconciliations, built directly into the core product instead of added on as bolt-ons.

Pros

Incredibly useful to have finance, reporting and customer information connected in one system. After getting familiar with it, the dashboards and real time data make it much simpler to keep track of everything and stay on top of day to day work.

Cons

flexible platform with powerful insights

Pros

Flexibility has been a big plus. It offers strong customization options and plenty of room to grow so it can adapt to the needs of almost any business. The AI features are also adding a lot of value by delivering faster and more useful insights.

Cons

The cost can be pretty high for a smaller company like ours. We have a clear growth plan and know what we want to achieve with this but the pricing of some modules can make it harder for us to move forward.

Reliable platform

Pros

One thing that really stands out is how broad the platform is, bringing so many business functions together into one reliable platform. The data management capabilities are strong and being able to customize dashboards for real time insight is a huge plus. It does an excellent job of automating more complex workflows which helps operations run more efficiently as the business grows.

Cons

Has many features to learn about so the onboarding can take a bit of a long time for new users. On top of that even though the system offers a high level of customization, setting up more advanced configurations can take a good amount of time and sometimes calls for technical specialists.

Very good at what it does

Pros

Having everything in one platform is what I appreciate most. It's fairly user friendly and while there is a bit of a learning curve at the beginning, the right support and training make it feel completely natural before long. My business would be nowhere near as efficient without it. Evan really created something special here.

Cons

One frustration is when new features are released only for the US first which means those of us in the United Kingdom and other regions have to wait until they're made available locally.

Pros

One platform to manage all your work

Pros

Every tool you need is available in one cloud based platform. Rather than juggling separate systems for accounting, inventory and customer management, it brings all the core business functions together in one place which helps improve efficiency and cut down on mistakes. The real time reporting is particularly useful because it gives businesses accurate data right away making it easier to make fast, informed decisions. I also really appreciate the level of customization available since dashboards and workflows can be adjusted to match specific business needs. Another strong point is its scalability, as it can grow alongside a business without forcing a switch to another system. Overall, it helps simplify day to day operations, improves visibility across the organization and allows teams to work more effectively and with more confidence.

Cons

System often feels complex and overwhelming espeically for new users. The interface is not always very user friendly so it usually takes time and proper training before someone can confidently navigate the platform and use its features well. While the customization options are powerful, they can also require technical knowledge or outside support which may add to the overall cost. Installation is another hurdle since it can be a long and resource heavy process for companies that do not have dedicated IT help. On top of that some tasks involve more steps than you might expect which can slow productivity. The licensing fees and ongoing maintenance costs can also be quite high making it a tougher fit for smaller businesses or startups working with tighter budgets.

multi currency consolidation benefits

Pros

Consolidating all of our companies across multiple currencies happens quickly and that has saved us a significant amount of time. The vendor and customer dashboards also make it convenient to get a fast view of the key information we need.

Cons

The Fixed Asset module feels slow and it's missing some reports that auditors would normally expect to see. On top of that some broader updates don't seem fully tested which has led to problems with bank feeds and VAT reporting over the past 18 months that have taken a lot of time to sort out.
