“highly customizable”
Pros
A pretty powerful system that keeps everything synced up and we rarely run into data issues.
Cons
Getting reporting and data extraction to work the way we need can feel rough. We've also got several internal processes that end up slowing the system down quite a bit. On top of that oracle support hasn't been great and it's hard to find reliable third party help that actually moves things forward.

“User friendly NetSuite with strong reporting”
Pros
Using it and getting a clear picture of what's going on inside the system isnt hard which helps keep daily operations running smoothly. The built in reporting and BI capabilities, powered directly by the system's own data, has been a huge win for making decisions faster and with more confidence.
Cons
A few standard configurations that are typically available in other ERP tools seem to be restricted for some reason. If those options were opened up, it would save a lot of time and improve accuracy across the board.

“reporting flexibility”
Pros
Customizable tables and reporting tools fit the way our team actually works. That flexibility meant people across the board, from the C suite to everyday users, could set up layouts modified to their roles and needs.
Cons
Communication inside the app is pretty limited. We could add notes and comments but there's no true "chatter" style feature especially no way to tag users or groups unless BluChat is enabled.

“Strong reporting capabilities”
Pros
Has been an excellent cloud solution for consolidating financial reports. I've been able to bring together the results of around 80 different companies into one single report.
Cons
The drop down fields could use improvement. It would be better if they allowed direct typing for what you need, instead of making you scroll through hundreds of options.

“real time dashboards”
Pros
Using this helped us speed up our financials, inventory and purchasing workflows. The real time dashboards gave visibility into what was happening in every warehouse and along every shipping lane so we could make decisions using live data instead of waiting on reports.
Cons
Customization takes a fair amount of effort and relies on developer support. A few integrations with smaller, niche logistics tools weren't plug-and-play so we ended up building some connectors ourselves.

“all in one tool for fast moving teams”
Pros
It does a lot in one place which really helps when we're moving quickly. It also makes it easier to connect different parts of the business so everyone can stay on the same page.
Cons
Getting everything set up can take a while and a couple of the less-used sections feel tougher to work through than they should be. There's also a bit of a learning curve when switching between different areas.

“Very disappointing”
Pros
The "horror stories" I heard about needing a third party implementation partner and then getting stuck after years, plus the five and six figure losses, were basically spot on.
Cons
Their sales process wasnt clear about what features it actually supports or what limitations it has for my specific business needs.

“weak in key accounting workflows”
Pros
Reporting capabilities with a single chart of accounts and support for a single vendor file do show some value although I'm basically stretching to find what works here.
Cons
Intercompany eliminations and amortization schedules are not up to par and it also struggles with bank feeds and credit card feeds. The overall implementation process feels especially painful which makes the system harder to get running than it should be.

“strict implementation risk”
Pros
It's really customizable and the interface looks user friendly on the surface but it honestly doesn't match that promise. I won't be recommending them and I'm going to keep posting feedback wherever I'm allowed, including on as many NetSuite related pages as I can.
Cons
Biggest problem is the data migration and how rigid the installation process is. If it isn't handled correctly it can throw everything off and end up hurting the business in a major way. Then you're left dealing with customers who end up frustrated and yelling because the numbers are messy and unreliable.

“Quick integration”
Pros
Comes with a lot of built in automation. The consolidation runs noticeably quicker and the integrations open up plenty of ways to simplify processes and gain efficiencies.
Cons
Can be pretty expensive. It also takes some time to learn the platform well enough to get the most out of it. Ideally, it would help to have someone more experienced to check in with when questions pop up.

Pros
Really easy to use and the way it's put together makes searching quick and it pulls up accurate, relevant items every time.
Cons
The only snag I've noticed is that the graphs could be more fluid right now they feel a bit cluttered in certain views.

“strong analytics”
Pros
Pulls together accounting, CRM, inventory, e-commerce and a bunch of related capabilities in one place so you're not juggling multiple systems. The dashboards and analytics are also pretty solid making it easier to track performance and make decisions with clearer visibility.
Cons
Interface doesn't feel very user friendly and moving around the app can be a bit complicated so you may need a fair amount of training for the team. It can also get costly due to licensing, plus additional expenses for setup and customization.

“Highly customizable billing”
Pros
Our billing setup is pretty complex and it took a lot of customization to get everything matching our requirements. The team created the scripts we needed so we could handle the billing tasks we rely on. Since we operate in fraud and risk, the permission controls have also been a big deal. Being able to set access at a granular level for different team members is crucial for how we work. NetSuite also made a noticeable difference in our month end invoicing and month end close. The automations brought the turnaround time for those activities down by about half and we've seen fewer errors too, largely because a lot of the work used to be manual touchpoints that we no longer have to do. On top of that, the integration options have been really useful. We've pulled multiple data sources together into one place which makes day to day management and reporting far less scattered.
Cons
With so many scripts built specifically for our setup, troubleshooting can feel a bit frustrating when something in a script isn't behaving as expected. Even with that friction, support has stayed responsive, every ticket we filed was handled quickly and the right people were brought in to resolve the issue.

“endless custom reports”
Pros
You really get a lot of flexibility here. There are nearly endless ways to build custom reports that match what you need and the integration options are strong. Overall, the workflow feels pretty user friendly even when you're doing more detailed setups.
Cons
A few parts aren't super simple to understand unless you have support from a NetSuite expert.

“Really good accessiblity”
Pros
Previously used this software at my last company and it felt pretty accessible thanks to the cloud setup. It also scaled really well as the business grew which made it a good fit for growing companies that need more capacity over time.
Cons
There's a sharper learning curve than with some other systems but between that and the customization constraints, it seems like that trade off is pretty unavoidable.

Pros
I mainly use it for inventory and orders and even though a few menus feel a little tucked away, it's still a lot better than bouncing between four separate tools.

When everything is running smoothly it truly saves time though for smaller tasks it can feel like overkill.

“solid all in one reporting”
Pros
It has made it a lot simpler for us to stay on top of financial records, inventory and order processing all in one spot. I especially appreciate the real time reporting. Being able to pull both financial and operational data quickly means I can make faster, better decisions without digging through endless spreadsheets.
Cons
Getting it set up the first time took quite a bit of configuration. Fully customizing it for our specific manufacturing workflow was time-consuming and we ended up bringing in outside consultants which added to the startup costs.

“amazing customization”
Pros
This software feels solid and reliable and it's flexible enough to modify it to the way we actually work. Being able to customize it for our specific needs made a big difference in getting everything aligned.
Cons
Making changes or rolling out updates was difficult on our own. Any meaningful tweaks ended up requiring support from a consultant which slowed things down a bit.

“severely buggy”
Pros
The only positive I can point to is that it can run a broad set of reports.
Cons
Bugs and glitches are honestly horrendous and it runs incredibly slow. Because it's web-based, the servers seem to be down around 15% of the time so you're stuck waiting or unable to work. Even worse, pages crash mid-task and you can lose everything you were working on. On top of that, the workflow requires way too many clicks-one task that should take about 5 minutes regularly turns into 15 minutes or more. By the time you factor in the overtime cost to get back to normal output, it's basically not worth the money compared to investing in a better software.
