amazing consolidation features

Pros

Offers really solid tools for accountants especially when it comes to international consolidation. The localization work is also a helpful touch since it makes setup and coverage more practical across regions.

Cons

There's a gap in the testing process-real functional users don't seem to be involved enough so not every scenario is covered. Performance is still on the slow side and the localization bundles could definitely be polished further.

solid ERP for small pre IPO teams

Pros

A really strong ERP choice for small customers and it also fits well for pre-IPO teams. It covers the day to day needs without feeling overly heavy and the setup matches the kind of workflow you'd expect before scaling up.

Cons

Security and role based access are a bit limited-field-based security for different roles could be stronger so permissions are easier to manage across teams.

versatile workflow automations

Pros

This app feels really versatile thanks to its scripting tools and workflow automation features. I can set up automation routines for different tasks without running into too many limitations which makes my day to day work faster and more organized.

Cons

When multiple scripts are running at the same time, performance can take a hit. Uploads and some other functions also get noticeably sluggish and seem to pause or slow down until the scripts settle.

An amazing ERP

Pros

Setup and ongoing maintenance has been pretty easy yet the platform still delivers the kind of power you'd expect from a full-scale ERP system. Everything fits together nicely without turning into a huge admin headache.

Cons

Every time I export anything like saved searches or reports into Excel, it always comes out using the older XML 2003 format which is a bit frustrating.

Wonderful online access

Pros

I really appreciate how extensible the system is and I can access it online whenever I need. Response times also feel relatively fast.

Cons

The user interface can be a bit frustrating to navigate. A few features feel slow and somewhat disconnected from each other.

powerful customization

Pros

Being able to view reports on a consolidated level is really useful. The reporting features, along with the option to customize reports, are genuinely impressive. Search lines are convenient and make it faster to find what you need. I also appreciate the ability to edit transitions when you need to adjust the flow. The advanced IC JEs capabilities add a lot of value.

Cons

Billing schedules can get pretty complicated for instance, setting up quarterly billing over two years versus one year effectively means using two different billing schedules. The system also struggles with splitting quantities properly for non-annual billing schedules. As of now, there isn't a "as of date" vanilla report to track inventory in transit and accrued expenses for inventory that's been received but where no invoice has come in yet. Fixed assets reporting is a bit confusing. When an asset is sold, the accumulated depreciation appears in the same column as the depreciation for the current period.

Love the customizable reporting setup

Pros

Love the customizable reporting setup especially the way custom fields are easy to configure. Being able to modify forms for different records makes it much simpler to fit the tool to our workflows instead of forcing everything into a generic structure.

Cons

From the admin side, workflow (WF) customization isn't very user friendly and feels pretty limited. When we hit those gaps, we sometimes have to fall back on SuiteScripts to work around the issues. That means you need development know-how-JavaScript plus experience with SuiteScript configuration. Since that level of expertise isn't available everywhere inside an organization, the workaround usually becomes hiring a certified third-party vendor which ends up taking extra time and costing more.

A strong fit

Pros

We ran most of our business operations on NetSuite and SuiteCommerce ended up being a strong fit. It made it a lot easier to set up and build an online store within our existing environment which saved time and kept everything aligned with the rest of our setup.

Cons

SuiteScript can feel a bit tricky at first but once you spend a little time with it, it becomes much more manageable and doesn't seem as hard to work with anymore.

useful 360 object links

Pros

360 view on objects is really useful. On the customer side you can jump straight to related sales orders and from a sales order you can link over to the corresponding purchase order. That connected navigation makes it much simpler to trace documents across the process.

Cons

Page load times can be a bit slow at times and it's even more noticeable on the sandbox environment.

automation for smoother finance operations

Pros

This tool helps automate the financial process and keeps financial operations running more efficiently. The workflow improvements are noticeable especially when it comes to managing day to day finance tasks.

Cons

Subscription pricing seems like it could change over time which makes budgeting a bit harder to plan long-term.

Too expensive

Pros

Using one system for accounting, fixed assets, sales, purchasing, inventory management and reporting has been a big win for us. Consolidating these functions into one place really does help organize day to day operations.

Cons

Switching to a pricey platform that doesn't do what you expected has been incredibly frustrating especially once you hit a bunch of unexpected limitations. The UI details alone create daily friction for example, the parts bin verification button and the box down/check-mark icon are so tiny that they're hard to see and require too many extra clicks. On the invoice side, batching is a problem. You can't batch print more than 100 invoices at a time and when you're trying to download 2000+ invoices, that's a lot of room to miss items. Another workflow issue is that invoices disconnect from sales orders when changes are made which leaves the sales order open again. We end up dealing with open orders and that can lead to double billing. Internal invoices also seem to create a receivable when we'd rather they not create one at all. Credit memos feel treated like an afterthought and sales order quantity handling is restrictive since negative quantities aren't allowed. So putting inventory back requires a credit memo. The parts ordering workflow has been the worst part for our parts team. It's difficult to see how many items were sold previously and it's even harder to tell what's already on order at each location without flipping through multiple screens. The "amount on order" shows company-wide numbers so it's basically not actionable. During item receipts, we can't view the total dollar value per line so the team keeps receiving parts under the wrong dollar value which turns AP into extra work and causes delays. Since we're on the basic service tier and our developers can't fix it, we were essentially told "too bad" via an automated Oracle email. There are also smaller gaps that add up, like not being able to add extra invoice information (like unit numbers) to customer statements-our statement function ends up being nearly useless. Display issues don't help either. Grey font on a white background in a size you can't adjust is rough for anyone with less-than-perfect eyesight. Selection behavior is inconsistent too; some lists let you select ALL but others only allow selecting one range at a time (like 1-25 or 1-100), with no clear logic. Finally, the item receipt and item fulfillment processes make everything slower and generate about three times more transaction lines. The extra lines push us over the 200,000 transaction line limit included with the basic tier and we're now being forced into a more expensive tier. That feels like it was misrepresented during the sales process from the start and it basically puts us in a "pay more or live with the limits" position. On top of that developers don't get free accounts so we had account shortages for all employees and there's plenty more beyond that.

Made a huge difference in our work

Pros

Has genuinely made a noticeable difference for us. With one platform, every department can handle what it needs. Covering ERP, CRM, e-commerce, financials, AP and HR without juggling separate systems. It also feels fairly approachable for regular users, not just technical staff and setup is simple enough that people can start working with it without a lot of friction.

Cons

Any hiccups we ran into were handled quickly. The support team stayed professional, responded promptly and resolved our questions within a reasonable time.

highly customizable for teams

Pros

The best part is that you can customization it to match your company's actual needs, instead of forcing your workflow to fit the software.

Cons

Getting started takes a bit of time. There's a lot to learn before you feel confident using everything the right way. Some actions can also impact other areas (like reports) so you have to pay attention to what you're clicking. That said, once you've got the hang of it, it becomes genuinely effective and a really useful tool.

Flexible suitecloud reporting

Pros

It runs in the cloud so there's way less hassle around servers and infrastructure maintenance. The platform also lets you customize it according to what your team actually needs. The SuiteCloud customization options are pretty flexible and the built in reporting tools make it much simpler to analyze your data without jumping through extra hoops.

Cons

I do wish there was a free trial available. Also, pricing details require a consultation which slows things down if you're just trying to evaluate options quickly.

feature rich cloud ERP suite

Pros

Covers a huge spread of modules-finance, CRM, e-commerce, inventory and supply chain-so you can build out a pretty complete system without stitching together multiple tools. It fits a wide range of company sizes, from early-stage startups all the way to large enterprises. Being cloud-based, it's accessible and doesn't require the same kind of on inf siterastructure. The platform is customizable and flexible which helps when your processes don't match a one-size-fits-all workflow. You get real time visibility into how the business is performing, backed by strong reporting and analytics. Multi-currency, multi-language and multi-subsidiary support is solid which is a big win for global operations. Updates are rolled out regularly so you're not stuck with outdated functionality and the system stays aligned with current tech and best practices.

Cons

Cost adds up quickly-subscription pricing plus customization and user licensing can be a lot especially for smaller businesses or startups. Getting set up well usually takes some learning and you may need ongoing training or external support. Implementation isn't usually quick; it can be complex and time consuming so it takes planning and enough internal resources. There can be occasional slowdowns or downtime which may temporarily affect day to day operations.

Great tool

Pros

The P&L reporting is way more granular than what we had before and the platform also supports bespoke B2B customer invoicing. That combination has made our financial tracking and billing much more custmoized to how we actually operate.

Cons

Rollout took multiple months and required a significant amount of effort even though the implementation itself went well.

managing revenue is so much easier

Pros

Comes across as a user friendly platform and I've used it across a range of companies. It makes managing revenue and receivables simple and it's also great for sharing information across teams so data flows between groups without getting stuck in silos.

Cons

Overall there's not much to complain about. The only real friction I ran into is that when downloading a report, it can take a little while so it helps to keep an eye on it and check back before the session times out.
