“versatile ERP for large teams”
Pros
Includes a solid, wide-ranging set of ERP, CRM, project management and HR management features. Overall, it feels like a really versatile ERP option especially suited to large-scale businesses with more demanding workflows.
Cons
Two biggest downsides I've noticed are the level of complexity and the pricing which can feel steep depending on the size of the organization.

“Time saving workflow”
Pros
It feels really user friendly and getting everything set up to hit my goals doesn't take long. I can accomplish what I need with minimal time investment.
Cons
Pricing is on the pricey side and the packaging should be more flexible. It would be better if I could avoid paying for features I don't actually use.

“all in one platform”
Pros
Everything feels built into one place with this so there's no need to bounce between different software just to get things done.
Cons
The only real downside was the automatic bank feed setup. It didn't work as cleanly for smaller banks as I expected.

“Strong quality with 24/7 access”
Pros
Quality feels solid and the support team has been great. Having 24x7 access is a huge plus and the setup handles multi-site and multi-language needs without much hassle. It also covers multi-tax requirements well. I especially appreciate the way it stores invoices and links them to transactions, plus the built in dashboards for visibility.
Cons
Pricing is on the expensive side and the performance can feel a bit slow at times. Another frustration is that the underlying structures are difficult to understand which makes it harder to build new reports, dashboards or extend the features further.

“better accounting visibility”
Pros
Has improved financial transparency for our company by connecting our inventory to our accounting in a way that works better than the system we used before.
Cons
The interface and templates feel seriously outdated and it's a pain to edit or make improvements. Also, given the size of our company, the overall cost feels like a big investment and it has seemed like we're relatively small to them-customer support has been difficult to access when we need help.

“Customization and detailed invoicing”
Pros
The software hits the mark with customization, detailed reporting solid invoicing and helpful management tools. I'm able to customized things to fit how we run day to day and the reports give a lot more visibility than what we had before.
Cons
Getting it set up at the very beginning took a bit of effort but that seems tied to how powerful and detailed the system is. Once the setup and training are done, the whole workflow clicks into place.

“Nothing worked as intended”
Pros
A fairly broad set of apps on paper that's supposed to work together but doesn't.
Cons
Everything I tried didn't behave the way it was supposed to. The integrations didn't feel as real as the marketing suggested and a lot of the functions weren't as solid or reliable as comparable solutions from other software.

“It'll drain you dry”
Pros
Honestly, there isn't much to praise here. It has really caused us serious trouble.
Cons
We has to connect with a third-party developer to build software and here we are two years later with nothing to show for it. We've already paid out about half a million and they're now telling us we need to fork over another $240k just to keep going even though the developer can't deliver what we paid for. On top of that NetSuite refuses to help preserve our data while the software firm they referred drags its feet building what ends up being a dysfunctional product. We're being given only two weeks to come up with another couple million or we risk losing all the data from the past two years. It feels less like support and more like blackmail.

“solid core features”
Pros
Everything you need is included out of the box in most cases, without having to mess with customisation. There aren't a lot of bells and whistles and it can be a bit slow at times but the core functionality is definitely all there when you actually need it.
Cons
Interface still feels outdated and a little slow. Some of the menus and setup screens really need a redesign though because the current look is largely maintained for users who want it to stay the same as it has been for years.

“support issues”
Pros
Has a huge range of capabilities.
Cons
Workflow feels slow and the interface isn't very user friendly. It doesn't really fit a small business setup where each person handles multiple responsibilities. With a team of 7, employees end up switching roles constantly just to get normal work done. When we ask NetSuite for help or guidance, the support doesn't feel like a partnership aimed at helping us grow. It comes across more like they're trying to maximize revenue. They regularly fall short on time sensitive deliverables and they push upgrades we neither need nor can afford. Our account manager is pleasant but they don't have the authority to fix problems or provide meaningful assistance. Even basic B2B transactions are extremely frustrating including paying NetSuite itself. And when we try to rely on their services, we run into promises that don't hold up, with no real willingness to negotiate or take responsibility for missed commitments and their own mistakes.

“Strong MRP with integrated suite”
Pros
Provides real MRP capabilities for manufacturing businesses that have outgrown spreadsheets and other informal workflows. Once you add the CRM, Projects and related modules, it becomes possible to consolidate multiple tools into a single integrated system and migrate operations into one place.
Cons
Moving over from an existing financial system can be pretty time consuming. Since you'll still get "garbage in, garbage out," the setup really needs to be done carefully. If you're launching a brand new business, it's worth planning ahead and considering this from the beginning, instead of starting with something simpler and then dealing with a migration later.
