“remote access win”
Pros
You can log in from anywhere as long as there's an internet connection which makes it convenient when I'm away from the office.
Cons
Tracking items and components for manufacturing is pretty hard to manage. There's also a lot of customization required and it can get confusing for team members if they haven't been trained well or if communication isn't consistent.

“powerful CRM with competitive pricing”
Pros
Finally there's a product that really stacks up against Salesforce. The pricing feels competitive and the rollout was noticeably simpler than we expected. It also has a lot of useful features that let us track projects through different phases especially while work is in development and once it moves into production.
Cons
The training phase takes time. Since this is a newer tool with a smaller existing install base and less shared know-how, it takes effort to coach employees and get everyone up to speed.

“Solid automations”
Pros
Lets us automate almost everything using scripts and workflows. Setting up custom fields is easy and matches whatever tracking we need. Tax reporting has become much simpler and if you're in Australia there's ANZ localization available for PTRS reporting. It connects with most systems we rely on for accounting tasks like accounts payable, AR, fixed assets, bank reconciliations, bank payment files, sales and purchase orders and even tax authorities. We used a different tool that was more geared toward small companies and once we moved to this our team genuinely started enjoying it. We're planning to keep using it long term.
Cons
There isn't much to complain about.

“quick customizations”
Pros
Being able to run customized reports and targeted searches has been a huge help for me. It's flexible enough to pull the exact information I need without jumping through too many extra steps.
Cons
Approval routing does feel a bit overcomplicated at times which can slow things down when everything needs to be reviewed and signed off.

“very poor communication by support team”
Pros
We're a group of US based companies with shared ownership, worth hundreds of millions and a few hundred employees. We initially viewed this software as a good long term option to link our third party software needs and help coordinate our different companies more efficiently. Looking back, it seems like it fits better for a much larger multinational organization than ours.
Cons
Communication ended up being extremely poor. There's a big gap between what's marketed and what's actually delivered and the setup feels overly compartmentalized which leads to getting charged repeatedly and "bled" for additional money.

“Reliable cloud access worldwide”
Pros
Runs as a cloud based system so logging in from anywhere is simple. It also protects your data. If a computer crashes or gets damaged, nothing is lost. Overall, the platform feels stable and stays available most of the time so you don't really have to plan around downtime.
Cons
Query builder isn't very user friendly and it can feel frustrating for first time users. Report building can also be tough because the interface is pretty complex. One more limitation: there's no built in tax settlement feature.

“all in one accounting tool”
Pros
I'm happy that this platform covers pretty much everything in one place. That includes accounting, inventory, sales, purchase order management and other related workflows.
Cons
More expensice than QuickBooks but when I compare it to other enterprise solutions, it ends up being more affordable.

“Very customizable software”
Pros
Very easy to customize it to fit my needs. It's solid right out of the box and as our requirements evolve and departments start asking for information in different formats, NetSuite gives me the option to build custom forms, fields and records. That flexibility helps me modify things so they match what our internal customers actually need.
Cons
There aren't many complaints from me. The only wish I have is that a few of the default pages-like the Invoice page or Order Approval-came with a clearer way to customize them.

“useful product tracking”
Pros
Having product tracking with serial numbers was a really useful feature since it adds traceability. I also appreciated the full inventory overview because it makes reconciliation much easier especially when preparing the kind of reports companies need for going public, like showing how funds were used and supporting requests for additional funding.
Cons
A few serial numbers ended up being entered incorrectly and correcting them turned out to be pretty time-consuming. Adding comments that explain why a serial number was changed would make the workflow clearer. It would also help to have a place to attach supporting documents to those comments so the context isn't missing.

“Flexible ERP with great UI”
Pros
Stands out as the top ERP system out there. The flexibility is a big reason I keep coming back to it. There really isn't anything comparable in other ERP platforms. You can design basically any record type and build different transaction types so the platform adapts to how you actually run operations. I also appreciate the ease of use and the user interface which looks clean and is simple to navigate. Beyond that, there are lots of useful features that make day to day work faster and more organized.
Cons
Some weak spots do need improvement. They're not major issues but some enhancements are definitely required. One example is how the system handles currency decimals. The software always uses two decimal places even for currencies that normally have three.

“reporting needs work”
Pros
I appreciate that it can integrate with other systems.
Cons
Reporting side is a bit overwhelming. There are way too many reports and some of the basic functionality I expect isn't built in. It's also pretty tough to generate reports since there are too many filters to sift through. I'm hoping the new instance we're moving to will improve things but it's still running slowly even in the newer setup.

“Highly customizable”
Pros
Very customizable and even without extra tweaking most of the NFP products already cover what we need.
Cons
One limitation is that the system only lets us enter an invoice date that matches the posting period. Since we also needed to track when the bill should post versus when the expense actually happened, we ended up adding a custom field to capture that information.
