powerful suite with the right implementation partner

Pros

Has a ton of features but getting real value depends heavily on using the right implementation partner to actually leverage what the platform can do.

Cons

They've rolled out extra functionality for things like bank reconciliations and revenue recognition that, in my case, felt unnecessary. On top of that when reports get very large, the Excel export turns out to be stuck on older Excel formats and report outputs are capped at 10,000 lines. There's also a contract limitation of 200,000 monthly transactions-once you pass that, it pushes you toward the next tier (2,000,000), effectively trying to steer customers into upgrading.

solid reporting

Pros

This software's financial reporting is really strong. There are a lot of different ways to view the same information which makes it easier to drill into what we need.

Cons

The purchasing and special pricing flow was a pain point. Getting our special pricing requirements to work in NS took quite a bit of customization on our side.

Reliable platform

Pros

Available whenever you need it and has been dependable every time I've used it.

Cons

Pricing feels a bit steep if you only use the service occasionally or don't need it very often.

strong reporting features

Pros

The reporting features are solid. Being able to customize BS and IS reports and then save them for later use has been really helpful for keeping things consistent.

Cons

Integration has been a bit of a headache especially connecting this with other systems, like the Ramp payments platform. There's also currently no integration with Office RnD which is our main system for running the revenue process.

efficient with third party setup

Pros

It feels genuinely powerful, as long as you're ready to invest in third-party advisors to make sure everything gets implemented the right way.

Cons

You end up depending heavily on outside experts both to deploy the solution and to handle the build and customization work.

fast reports

Pros

Being able to pull up reports with a single click has been a huge time-saver. I also really appreciate how simple it is to slice and dice the data in whatever way we need.

Cons

If there's one area that could've been better, it's the data migration. Some staff turnover on the NS side slowed things down and made the migration more difficult than it should've been.

useful integrations

Pros

A great business tool because it bundles a lot of useful, connected features to help manage the whole organization in one place. The interface feels user friendly and I was able to jump in and navigate the system fairly quickly without getting bogged down.

Cons

Can be expensive and a bit complex. Getting started isn't quick for new users and the learning curve can feel steep which may be tough for smaller businesses or anyone watching costs closely.

More features than you'll ever need

Pros

Includes way more features than I'll ever realistically need. The fact that it's cloud based has been a real advantage for me.

Cons

The sheer number of options makes it tougher to narrow everything down to just what I actually use.

all in one CRM

Pros

Working as an admin for the software in our company, I've been impressed by how complete and reliable it feels as a CRM. The standout benefit is that it brings our whole customer relationship process into a single platform. Our team can manage everything from sales and marketing to customer service and support without bouncing between different tools which makes the experience smoother for both us and our customers. Another big win is the automation of repetitive work. That has boosted our efficiency a lot and it frees up time for more valuable activities like building and maintaining customer relationships. On top of that it's reporting is genuinely strong. Our customer data is easier to understand and the insights we get help us make more data driven decisions.

Cons

A clear downside is the overall complexity. Even though there are plenty of features, it does take time and effort to learn how to use everything properly, particularly for non-technical users.

Single platform that handles everything

Pros

You can do a lot of work within one platform. Instead of juggling three or four separate tools and trying to keep them working together for ERP, sales planning, accounting and everything else, It gives you a single system that handles the main workflows in one place.

Cons

Because it's such a powerful platform, there's a noticeable learning curve. Once you've figured out the functions you actually need, it's a strong setup but bringing a new employee up to speed can take a while but thats mainly because there are multiple paths to reach the same information.

simple bookkeeping

Pros

The standout feature for me is that you can download information for any time period you want. The dashboard is exceptionally easy to use and bookkeeping stays simple which makes handling records much less of a hassle.

Cons

Report feature feels unnecessary difficult and a bit hard to wrap my head around. Pricing could also be a little lower.

easy to roll out

Pros

User friendly and it was easy to roll out across our organization. The built in project management features have cut down the time it takes to complete project installs quite a bit.

Cons

Every now and then, it throws up small issues when we're troubleshooting so we have to dig a little more than expected.

Pros

Easy to use and handle. On top of that the software is fully customizable so you can modify it to your workflow without much difficulty.

efficient financial performance tracking

Pros

I've been using this software for quite a while now and it's been really effective for tracking and managing my organization's financial performance. The way it handles financial management tasks feels efficient and gives clear visibility into how things are going.

Cons

A bit expensive which makes it hard to justify for smaller budgets. On top of that customer support hasn't been very quick to respond and the follow-ups can take longer than expected.

Good fit for small business accounting

Pros

Really solid option for small enterprises. It records mathematical transactions into the ledger using multiplication accounts, along with invoices and revenue analysis. It also gets ongoing updates and they're actively working on new features. Everything you need is accessible with just a click, including the key information and reporting.

Cons

The biggest downside is the number of unexpected error pop-ups, along with various error messages. Other teams have been complaining about it regularly too-production, engineering and purchasing all seem to run into issues on a daily basis.

Best cloud management

Pros

Great for cloud management especially compared to other tools I've tried. The setup and overall handling of cloud operations feels like it's built with real management needs in mind and that's been really helpful.

Cons

One thing I haven't sorted yet is how to transfer information between systems. I'm still working out the best way to move data cleanly so that part hasn't clicked for me yet.

Very user friendly

Pros

I really like how user friendly it is and how quickly you get started with it. The different business areas in the company were able to get the hang of it right away, without any real difficulty.

Cons

Only downside is the price especially for SMEs and TPEs, it may need some adjustment. I'd recommend it to companies that have the budget to buy the tool; personally, I find it really impressive.

Solid workflows

Pros

Interface feels user friendly and creating reports or saved searches is easy too. It fits our needs well for AR and Collection activities.

Cons

That said, NS struggles when we run high volumes of transactions through it. The system gets strained and we start hitting limits on what we're able to process.

Highly customizable but pricey

Pros

It's refreshing to have enough flexibility to shape the setup around pretty much anything your company needs. On top of that if you're willing to invest some money, you can get the system aligned closely with your organization's specific business processes.

Cons

Costs jump quickly once you notice that a lot of what you're paying for feels pretty average and you end up needing extra software or SaaS just to work around the built in limitations.
