user friendly interface

Pros

This is a cloud based ERP platform that was purchased by Oracle. Since the acquisition oracle has been positioning its cloud Fusion and NetSuite ERP offerings to customers. Meanwhile, the older-generation EBS and JD Edwards solutions are still available for customers who prefer on-premise setups, as long as they request it. The interface is also quite user friendly.

Cons

Even though it's simple and helpful, it could use a bit more functionality. Still, overall it's a solid application.

well integrated modules

Pros

Covers everything a business needs to run daily operations and its modules are tightly integrated. The reporting features also work really well and overall it feels polished and dependable.

Cons

Expensive to maintain and support can be painfully slow to respond and resolve issues. Getting fully up to speed takes longer than I expected too since the workflows feel a bit quirky at first.

Quick setup

Pros

The usability of this software is its standout feature. It makes working with QuickBooks far less complicated than you'd expect even when you need capabilities for businesses of any size.

Cons

Reporting is the weak spot. Getting custom reports built is pretty difficult unless you stick to the prebuilt reports already available in the system.

Helpful time tracking

Pros

I really appreciated the time tracking built into the expense reports since it keeps everything organized. On top of that being able to email receipts makes it much more convenient to submit and stay on top of documentation.

Cons

The part I liked least is that it doesn't feel as user friendly as I expected when I started using it.

solid integrations

Pros

Integration and overall stability in the supply chain have been a strong point. At the start, the product can look a bit complicated but things become much more user friendly once you get going. That said, we haven't fully tested the integration side yet so there's likely more potential we'll uncover as we use it more.

Cons

I'd like to have visibility into LC and LG transactions, along with more control over the decimal precision in the finance section. Also missing for us is the ability to generate reports that include both posted and non-posted values.

Strong software

Pros

Powerful and highly comprehensive and it helps us set up an infrastructure we can build on as we scale.

Cons

There's a lot of capability packed into this ecosystem so you end up putting in a fair amount of input and making decisions upfront which can be pretty time consuming. That said, once it's in place and the company grows, having everything set up early should pay off big time.

useful reporting and billing

Pros

The reporting has been really handy and I can pull what I need without much hassle. When it comes to handling lots of invoices, billing feels much more simplified. Any time I've hit an issue, the customer service reps have been responsive and genuinely helpful. It also looks like the platform integrates well with other systems which makes day to day workflows smoother.

Cons

Expensive compared with other options on the market. Since it doesn't feel as feature-rich as some competing software/SaaS, it can end up costing more overall especially if you start needing extra tools. The system seems reliable because it's been around for a while but it could use some updating to keep up with newer, cheaper platforms.

user friendly accounting tool

Pros

It feels much easier to use than other accounting software I've worked with.

Cons

Compared to SAP, it's missing some functionality specifically we can't run the close/open in the General Ledger reports. It would be really helpful if you could add a feature to generate a document number when a transaction is closed.

tax report catalog too small

Pros

There's nothing good I can say about this software.

Cons

The tax report catalogue seems extremely limited. I also can't get even basic information through their support which makes it pretty frustrating to use.

better CRM connectors needed

Pros

This isn't really a true CRM. It's more of an overlay that works because it's directly tied into it's financial engine. That connection is genuinely the one bright spot since it keeps the accounting side in sync.

Cons

It would be a lot more useful if it had native integrations with top tier CRM tools. Right now, the lack of built in connectors limits how smoothly it can fit into a modern CRM setup.

Broad range of features

Pros

Using this software feels simple. When you need to get a task done, it guides you through the same logical flow it uses so you're not left guessing.

Cons

Everything has been pretty positive so far but I think reporting could be better as building reports quickly takes quite a bit of learning and I didn't pick that up as fast as I'd like.

Scalable workflows

Pros

Customizable and scalable so you can modify the features to fit pretty much any organization's needs. It's especially strong at automating critical accounting tasks and it also handles workflow management and people management without feeling scattered.

Cons

Pricing and the extra add on costs may be a bit of a stretch for smaller businesses. Customer service also feels underwhelming and the user interface still has a lot of room to improve.

Nothing works properly

Pros

Honestly, it seems like it would be worthwhile if the service actually worked. At this point, the only real offering we received was a set of additional integrations and those were priced around $9K.

Cons

Customer support was extremely poor. The work didn't get completed as jobs were left unfinished. It felt like a game of telephone, where information didn't carry through correctly. Even though our rep sounded sympathetic, they didn't have enough authority to fix the problems or get anything resolved.

UI feels ahead of competitors

Pros

Interface stands out as noticeably better than what I've seen from competing solutions. The layout and usability feel more polished and easy to use.

Cons

Warehouse management and production features right out of the box are very restricted. Oracle didn't quite hit the mark on delivering a fully capable core WMS so you end up dealing with gaps sooner than expected.

Highly customizable controls

Pros

This tool brings a lot of flexibility, with extensive customization down to the smallest details of your business. When the whole company uses it, the data becomes much more accessible and it really supports a proper financial controller.

Cons

Interface isn't very easy to use and running it effectively requires strong experience and some training. Also, like most CRMs, it's expensive. On top of the license fees, you also have to budget for the development time and overall implementation cost.

helps me stay on track

Pros

I really liked how this app helps my ADHD brain stay on track by managing my time and keeping my clients organized. It's been a big support for staying focused instead of getting pulled in a dozen directions.

There isn't anything I dislike about it.

Doesn't perform well

Pros

It sells itself really hard, with claims of strong salespeople and a polished presentation.

Cons

In reality, it doesn't perform well at all. My experience has been extremely disappointing especially since the team handling a new company onboarding clearly lacked both experience and accountability. The onboarding group felt like a total mismatch for the role. They didn't even know the software they were supposed to introduce. After three months of escalation requests, I've ended up contacting everyone, including corporate EVPs and nothing has been resolved. Even basic core functionality in this platform isn't working properly.

flexible all in one tool

Pros

Easy to use and offers enough flexibility to roll out a wide range of solutions across different departments. Having everything centralized on a single platform is also really convenient for keeping workflows and information in one place.

Easy to share information with team

Pros

Using this is a solid way to create, share and discuss QCI's with your manager and the whole team. It also makes payroll/work-related information much easier to view and follow.

Cons

Occasionally, the very small text in the QCI form is a bit tough to read which makes it harder to jump to the right spots.

responsive UI

Pros

UI feels fast and responsive and the whole workflow is pretty smooth. Connecting its different functions has been handled well so related tasks flow together without much difficulty. It fits multiple industries nicely especially service based businesses.

Cons

For CPG customers dealing with massive volumes of data, the feature set feels a bit limited especially when compared to tools like SAP. One example is that there isn't a way to do partial or residual payment application. Deductions management could use more depth and adding additional features would make it much more complete.
