Cons

My Pipedrive Experience
Pros

I love how intuitive and visual the interface is. Also it is very user-friendly which allows me to see my entire sales pipeline at a glance. It feels like a chessboard where each piece represents a sales opportunity and I can easily move them between stages. The task automation is a real time-saver, eliminating repetitive tasks. Real-time reports are fantastic for tracking my sales performance without needing complex calculations. Overall it simplifies managing sales and makes it even a bit fun.

Cons

It is very very expensive. While I generally like the interface, it can feel overwhelming with all the available options and settings. It takes some time to set everything up just the way I want it. Also, the mobile app is not as robust as the desktop version which makes management on the app quite frustrating.

A dream to work with as an admin/IT
Pros

For me and my company, the API is very important. We have a fluctuating target group and update our leads every month, which used to be a hassle. Now, the API makes it easy. With the API, automation and filters, our sales team can focus on selling instead of managing leads and making decisions. They can just work through the prepared list and make calls.

Cons

From an admin perspective, the only downside I see is the 10,000 leads per day rate limit, which requires us to be cautious when updating due to the volume of our leads.

Pros

Salespeople are not usually tech savvy but PipeDrive makes tracking and following up on sales easy. Plus, PipeDrive has its own marketplace where I can install a wide range of applications to improve tracking and follow-ups.

Great Starter CRM for New Users
Pros

Entering new contacts into the system or performing a bulk import is very simple. Searching for contacts using custom fields is easy and I can select multiple contacts at once to edit their information. Creating custom columns to organize the information I need is also a hassle free task now.

Cons

Its not great at automatically organizing tasks or checking for overlaps. It lacks a lead generation tool and does not have email marketing integration like more modern real estate CRMs.

The unrivaled CRM in the industry
Pros

I value Pipedrives simple user interface, its flexibility for customization and its wide range of integrations, which is unmatched in its category. I did even call it modular because I can easily add almost any feature through third-party integrations which ensures I am never limited by Pipedrives inherent capabilities. If I prefer an all in one solution, Pipedrive still outperforms its competitors in that regard.

Cons

I am not fond of how some basic features are restricted to higher-priced plans. Although I prefer a modular setup, the lowest-priced plan makes the most sense for me. I miss features like prioritizing important fields based on the deal or the stage of the person/organization in the pipeline. I previously subscribed to Pipedrives top-tier package but I found the automation features underwhelming. They are somewhat limited and the triggers do not always work as expected.

Great for efficiency & simplicity
Pros

Moving data from my old CRM and setting up pipelines is incredibly easy. Managing opportunities at every stage is even simpler. The alerts, activities and send from Pipedrive features help me stay organized and the forecasting function is pretty decent too.

Cons

The tool is designed around the sales process and Kanban view which can be limiting when using it as a hybrid marketing and sales CRM. The insights dashboard is good but it does not allow for creating bespoke charts or tables for every possible data point, which is reasonable given the price point.

Cons

From top to bottom, Pipedrive really needs to reassess its service. It is clear that their approach is not customer-centric. They implement policies, procedures and scripted responses that do not foster success in todays environment which demands critical thinking and a common-sense approach.

I really like how easy it is to start operations and gain insights from the deals pipeline. Pipedrive offers plenty of content to help me understand SalesOps and align with my deals workflow. It integrates with almost all relevant tools for data analysis. Even if its not a native feature, I can usually find the right solution in the marketplace.

Cons

I am not fond of how the dashboards are structured. Eventually, we started using other tools and in-house solutions. It gets confusing when I create multiple dashboards if I do not keep track and clean up unnecessary ones, I end up lost among all the old charts. However, if I stay organized, its a great tool to work with.

Its relatively easy to sync with my Shopify store and integrate with other programs. Also its useful for tracking emails and interactions with specific deals using the Pipedrive email functionality.

Cons

Its not the most user-friendly as some of the older members of my team have difficulty with it. Many useful features are behind a heavy paywall. I did prefer a smoother integration with Shopify, without relying on Zapier.
