Sorts replies, plus automatic opt-out

Pros

Importing contacts is very easy. I can sort them into lists, build email templates and set up campaign sequences. What I appreciate is that follow-ups run automatically and it sorts replies by type like interested or not interested. The sequence metrics are useful too as I can see email opens, opt-outs and more. The automatic opt-out feature helps keep recipients happy. Also their support team is helpful and responds quickly to my requests.

Cons

I preferred when Reply.io included email warm-ups directly on the platform. These days I have to switch over to MailToaster to warm emails and that extra step disrupts my workflow and feels like an unnecessary hassle.

good campaigns and Salesforce syncs

Pros

Creating and running a new campaign is really easy and I find managing them just as simple. The Salesforce integration is something I appreciate. The email mailbox is also decent, so following up on messages is easy.

Cons

I'd like more options to change contact email addresses inside the platform so those edits automatically push to Salesforce and having that sync happen without manual steps would save time. It would also help to have better automation that identifies and schedules contacts who need to be re-contacted once a campaign has finished.

Personalize with a/b tests

Pros

For me, Reply.io is an easy-to-use platform with a lot of features and I love being able to personalize my sequences by running A/B tests.

Cons

I have noticed the Pipedrive integration needs to be improved, because it can be unstable at times.

Chat always connects to a real person

Pros

Customer support is fantastic. Their chat agents are super helpful and this is one of the few programs I use where you can actually speak to a real person. I can book a call whenever it's necessary and I can share my screen with someone who walks me through the issue and helps me.

Cons

I suppose there must be some drawbacks but nothing comes to mind at the moment.

Outbox streamlines campaign planning

Pros

Using the Outbox has been a game-changer for me. it really streamlines campaign planning and saves me a ton of time. On top of that, the reporting tools are truly outstanding seriously some of the best I have come across in any software I have used.

Cons

I do feel frustrated that the plan restricts how many email accounts I can connect which limits my workflow. Also, the email finder hasn't impressed me and often misses leads I expect it to find.

Tracks prospect position

Pros

One thing I really appreciate is being able to track where every prospect sits in my sequence. I am also impressed by how well it connects with other tools, integrating them quickly and reliably.

Cons

I wish it wasn't so restricted by LinkedIn when I am trying to view profiles, because that limits what I can do. While I recognize it's not entirely Reply's fault, I'd find it helpful if the app offered a prompt or reminder to nudge me to proceed to the next step.

Recommends winning campaigns

Pros

I really value that it can recommend which email campaign is most likely to succeed and its email discoverability feature is genuinely useful.

Cons

Occasionally I run into problems with the Chrome extension which is frustrating, although I understand it's a technical component that needs constant updates. aside from that I have very few complaints.

Constant tech support needed

Pros

For handling multiple domains from a single dashboard, it fits the agency workflow really well. I found the warm-up email feature effective, though it became trickier after they switched to Mail Toaster. When I am only using it to send emails, it reliably does exactly what it's supposed to.

Cons

Honestly I have found it to be a functional disaster I am dealing with tech support nearly every other day just to keep things running. There are huge, maddening differences between the web login and the Chrome extension. they show different views and some features only work if I layer the extension on top of the web app which feels clunky. For example, on the web page I cannot see which lists a contact belongs to and the Reply team just tells me to open the extension instead of letting me view everything in one place. When an email bounces or is undelivered, getting that contact back into the right sequence is a roundabout process that often forces me to restart from the beginning. I also notice task records aren't consistent what I complete or update in the extension sometimes doesn't match what shows on the web page, causing confusion when I am tracking outreach. Uploading a batch of contacts into a specific list I created frequently fails. the system ignores the list I selected and dumps those contacts into my global All contacts list. The support team's only real suggestion was to create a filter using the contact upload date to auto-generate a list I can then move around which feels like a kludgy workaround rather than a fix. The cumulative effect is wasted time and constant context-switching. I spend more time troubleshooting UI inconsistencies than running campaigns. I like parts of the product and see its potential but in practice everything that should take one simple step ends up taking about four.

splits reports in many ways

Pros

The system is incredibly helpful when it comes to optimizing for a high delivery rate and it offers all the features that can assist you. Its multichannel reach-out system is really impressive. Reporting is truly excellent. I can split reports by sequence, by account, by time period, by template and many other ways which makes tracking performance much easier.

Cons

I have noticed the platform starts showing a general lag across different parts of the product as you scale up and add more contacts and sequences. On top of that, I have run into unexpected bugs with the system that have at times prevented me from running sequences and kept me from properly managing my inbox.

Email outreach is not problem now

Pros

For our team, it's made email outreach a total breeze it's incredibly easy to use and has genuinely helped us build sequences with very little effort.

Cons

I don't have any major complaints. the new data features seemed a bit tricky to work with at first but they prove to be really valuable once you get comfortable using them.

Automates follow-ups, tracks every metric

Pros

Being in a sales role where I send lots of cold outreach, Reply has become the single most important tool I rely on. Often I won't hear back until the second or third follow-up and Reply automates all of that for me while also keeping tabs on crucial metrics like view counts and reply rates. Because of that I can easily A/B test different email styles and monitor how each campaign performs. Honestly Reply makes managing cold email campaigns so effortless.

Cons

The only real thing I wish it had is a built-in spellchecker for outreach messages. I normally double-check for typos by pasting my drafts into another editor before sending which is an extra step I'd rather not have to take.
