I had never tried cold outbound email before and I first learned about reply.io from a YouTube video so I decided to give it a go. The setup process turned out to be quite simple. Also the interface is responsive and easy to use and I was able to configure everything without much fuss. They include premade templates although I usually ask Claude to draft the outbound messages for me. The platform offers a lot of handy features. What I particularly like is their email database. I can search for contacts there and add them to a sequence quickly and without any hassle. Reply.io also includes strong controls over sending cadence and limits which helps keep my messages from being flagged as spam. As someone new to this approach, those safeguards and conveniences were really helpful and made me comfortable continuing to use the tool.
Cons
I would like to see a pricing plan designed for small businesses so I don't have to commit to a large upfront payment right at the start.

After using Reply for two months, here is what I love about it. Their customer support is amazing as they are polite, fast and genuinely helpful. I have asked them over 20 questions and each time they responded quickly with clear, easy-to-follow answers. The agency setup is also well-designed so switching between client accounts is as simple as one click which makes managing multiple clients effortless. The platform is also user friendly and easy to use so onboarding a new client takes me less than 48 hours. Overall it has really streamlined my workflow so I am very happy with it.
Cons
One area that frustrates me is their confusing naming conventions. For example, there's a tab labeled Data inside my outreach I assumed it would show metrics about my campaigns like emails sent or open rates but instead it's focused on using Reply to discover additional leads which was surprising. I also use Gmail and Google Meet for my business and there's no integration to connect my calendar to Reply. Zoom is the only option available which doesn't fit my workflow. The LinkedIn accounts tab is another pain point. it doesn't explain how it works or how I am supposed to use it so I don't really understand its purpose or practical use case.
