The platform supports multiple ticket creation mechanisms within Slack, including the use of emoji reactions, dedicated AI prompts, slash commands, message shortcuts, and custom workflow triggers. This ensures immediate ticket generation and contextual capture directly from the active conversation thread.
The system utilizes two distinct channel types to manage the support flow: Request Channels are designated for employee submission of new requests, while a single Triage Channel serves as the centralized agent workspace for the dedicated management and monitoring of all incoming ticket volume.
A single Triage Channel automatically receives mirrors of all new tickets, functioning as a centralized hub for agents. This feature facilitates full ticket actions, monitoring, and management by the support team while maintaining crucial bidirectional message synchronization with the original employee request thread.
The Slack App Home tab provides a personalized dashboard for each user, offering rapid ticket creation and access to specific ticket views such as "My Tickets" and "My Approvals." Custom views defined in the Ravenna web platform are automatically synchronized and presented based on the user’s assigned role.
